Was not inpressed with this hotel. upon arriving me and my girlfriend noticed that the towels were wet and the trash was not emptied in the bathroom. i returned to the office to notify someone. they then sent a housekeeper to come to clean up the mess. i told her that i thought that the room had not been cleaned at all. all that was done was the towels and the sheets were replaced. i was forced to clean all of the dishes in fear that they had been used. and the shower floor was still dirty. the bed sagged because the center suport was broken. the soap in the bathroom was not replaced. it was disgusting. other than that new york was great and the location of the hotel was great.

The room was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed with almost every utensil needed. The bed was very comfortable. As most others will tell you, while in New York, you wont spend much time in your room anyway. I found the kitchen a waste with all the great local restaurants, but the fridge was perfect for leftovers. The kitchen would be handy, provided you can find a grocery store that sells more than instant soup and cookies. I recommend for anyone not needing the normal hotel extras. Location = A++++

This is actually just an apartment building with vacant rooms (1 BR & Studio) which are rented out by the night. They are clean, but not well maintained and there is no hotel service. If you just need a place to sleep near Macy's and Madison Square Garden, this is the right place. If you want a real hotel, go elsewhere.

The hotel was well located; bed and couch mattresses were very comfortable, down comforters, nice linens. The fully equiped kitchen had all all appliances including large fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, pots and pans, plates and silver, etc. for four people. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom, etc. Our only problem was with how to use the door key. This was explained to us by an employee.

YourStay is basically an apartment rented to you in NYC in a decent building in Herald Square right across from Macy's, down the block from the Empire State Bldg. There are minimal hotel ammenities. You get towels the first day (and if not enough, it may take another day to get more...) We got a 1 bedroom with a pull out sofa for the kids in the living room, nice TV with DVD/video player, clean and well-stocked kitchen. There was no maid service to clean the apt, but there was a vacuum cleaner and broom in closet. No dressers to put our clothes into. Despite all this-- clean, great location and if you don't mind living out of your suitcase, a great deal for this much space and a little privacy from the kids in NYC.

We saved hundreds of dollars by staying at the YourStay Apts at 34th and Broadway. The rooms were relatively clean and the location was great. Within walking distance of just about everything (Empire State - 2 buildings over, subway - half a block, Macy's - kitty corner, and times square and theatre district - less than a mile). Fairly large apt with large walk in closets and kitchenette. Would definitely stay again when we return to NY!!!

It was really nice to be in the area, across from Macy's and on the same block as the Empire State building with access to everything. The beds were not of the greatest quality (the sofabed was missing springs) but the kitchen area was extremely clean. The bathroom was fine also. We were not able to open a window and it could get a little stuffy. Overall, we were very happy with the room, it was nice to be able to store food in the fridge and warm up milk for the kids in the morning. It had every thing we needed, even a corkscrew! I would certainly go back!

If you don't mind the unconventional NYC hotel stay, and are willing to trade a little bit of hotel process and ammenities for much more space and a great location, then you should consider this property. Not so much a hotel as it is a time-share for the night. Worked for me.

Had a loveley stay! Comfortable bed with down pillows and blanket.Nice kitchenette and huge closet nice T.V.and stereo. Hot water in bathroom sink leaked on floor and had to be turned on and off from underneath, shower a little funky. a minor inconvenience considering the ample size and great price on this room. Great location, would stay again in a heartbeat!

It was really hard finding the hotel/apartment because there isn't a sign on the front of the building. We walked around for 2 hours trying to find out where we were staying - we even asked cops and they didn't know where it was! So, it's right across the street from the Victoria's Secret which is across the street from Macy's. The lobby of the "hotel" is really weird because it's run out of an apartment on the 4th floor. But, the room we stayed in was HUGE. Full kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom. This is a great, cheap place to stay in NYC. They have a great stereo/t.v./sound system in the livingroom - and the kitchen is equipped with silverware, plate, bowls, cups, etc. I would definatly stay here again!!! Don't let the lobby fool you!

this is the best place to stay if you want to ruin your vacation. Clogged bathtub, backed-up toilet, old food left in the refrigerator, etc. In addition to that, trying to find the "RIGHT" person to complain to about these problems were unbelievable difficult. I still do not know who is responsible for the service and maintenance. The phone numbers listed on your confirmation letter is for RESERVATION ONLY. So they do not take care of problems while you stay here. They may give you other numbers to contact, but you would find that none of them answer the phone. It you enjoy being frustrated with these problems during your vacation in a unfamiliar city, by all means, stay with this hotel/apartment.

What a great place to stay!! You can't beat the centralized location of this hotel. Subway, shopping, sites...everything is close by. Being born and raised in NYC, you know what's a good location and this is it. The room was great. Very comfortable and more than enough when you are barely in your room. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and I will most definitely be returning.Thank you for a memorable stay!
