| When I arrived (9pm) and told the front desk that my luggage had been "lost" by the airlines and asked that they send it up immediately should it be delivered that night, the young lady immediately offered a toiletry kit. I refused thinking my suitcase would be on the 10pm flight. It wasn't and at 11 pm when I called the front desk, toothbrush, deordorant, etc. were sent right away.

| I booked this hotel because I was attending a funeral the following morning, and the location was very close. Unfortunately, when I arrived, I had no idea that this hotel would be housing hundreds of middle/high school students for an event at the expo center. Children, who appeared to be unsupervised, crowded the hallways like a college dorm. The noise in the hallways was unacceptable and continued until after midnight. Security was called twice before anyone took action. When I placed the second phone call 15 min. after the first, the front desk attendant was very rude and said, "We can't do anything about it." It wasn't until I asked to speak to a manager, that anything was done. On a brighter note, my room was nicely appointed with stylish decor, however, there were sticky spots on the carpet as well as the bedside table. Therefore, walking barefoot was not an option.

| Stayed at the Executive West during the Mid-America Truck Show and it was very convenient to the convention center. The shuttles were great because it was a little rainy and cool. The hotel itself is very old looking inside. The room smelled like a wet, musty dog when we arrived. After turning on the ventilation and allowing it to run, the room was fine. The hotel is very noisy. We were woke up by the sounds of the trash trucks in the middle of the night and the 2nd night we stayed we were awoken to a noise that sounded a lot like a SWAT team on the roof. Very, very loud and went on for about 15 minutes. The bathrooms are roomy and the rooms themselves are a nice size. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet is very reasonable at $7.95 during the week and $9.95 on Sundays and it is AWESOME. The pool area looked very nice. The rooms have free wireless internet access if you are there for business. The bar was small, dark, dreary and very smokey. The location to the convention center and the airport along with the highway access is great. We do plan on staying next year. I've read the other reviews and aside from the bar area, I don't know any other common areas where you can smoke in that hotel.

| Clean, nice restaurants, and bar. Everything you need for a short stay. I had reserved a king/non-smoking and there were none available so they put me in a handicapped room. They did not ask, I would have gladly downgraded to a double/non-smoking. It was one of the busiest weekends in Louisville, however. So I will give them that

| The hotel wasn't at all what I expected for the price they charged. I was guarenteed 1 King Size bed and when I got to the hotel they gave me 2 double beds with nothing special in the room. No I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to stay there the staff was not friendly.

| There was a mixup on the dates I was suspose to stay there. The staff did not miss a beat and just gave me a room and went on. Very nice to have someone handle problems that way. Room showed a little wear but nothing very bad. Shower water ran slow and water very slow to run out of the shower/bath. Entrance door squeeked badly and "drug" just a little. These are very small problems. Beds were very nice with four good pillows on each bed, very comfortable.

| My overall experience was rather good. The only issue I had was they put me in a room next to the elevator so I could hear it going up and down until about 10 pm every night. Other than that, it was a great place.
