Accommodations where not as nice as I expected...rooms were just "ok"....could use a facelift. But it served our purpose of just sleeping there because we spent our days at Busch Gardens and Water Country and other attractions. Overall is just ok. We would not stay here again personally....but is more spacious than a hotel room so it could fit others needs.

This location is a newly built complex of timeshare townhouses that let's out some units on a Hotel like basis. I was staying there with my wife, 3 children and my parents. For a group that size it was ideal. There was a suite type room with a King bed and fold out couch for my family and my parents stayed in a seperate bedroom in the unit. Location is right next to Water Country and convenient to other area attractions. A kitchen setup, TV's, DVD players, and pool, all made it a great base of operation for staying in the Williamsburg area.

The place was beautiful and right next door to the water park we went to. The place was as large as a house and we were close to the outdoor pool. We did have to have a shower screw repaired and ask for more plates, everything else was perfect. The only complaint was that the indoor pool rules were not inforced by anyone. There were some other children jumping in the hot tub when no one under 18 was to be in it at all. The was a viewing window from the reception desk and the staff could see them but other than talk to the parents once nothing was done and the behavior did not change.

Choosing a hotel on the internet and looking just at pictures is a risk. I hadn't known anyone who stayed there and took a chance. I was more than pleased. The cottages were lovely and it felt very much like home. For the price, I think it was an outstanding bargain! and the amenities were plenty. King's Creek is all they claim to be.

Except for all the ants, we loved this time share hotel. It was very roomy, had 3 Tv's including a huge wide screen. It had a full kitchen with a washer and dryer. We had 5 people in a 2 bedroom and used the pull out couch. It was extremely convenient to water country, busch gardens and williamsburg. I liked that it wasn't on the "hotel strip". The only problem was lots of tiny ants in the kitchen and living room. We had to have the room sprayed 3 times in one week. I don't know if all the units are like that. We were in 113A behind the indoor pool. The kids loved the indoor pool since it was pretty shallow (3.5ft). The outdoor pool was nice too. I would recommend this despite the ants. It was very spacious and comfortable.

We found the accommodations to be very spacious, clean and most comfortable. The kitchen was a hugh help with the meals, especially with the kids. Having the washer and dryer was a big plus! The pool was perfect for the kids although we spent most of our days at the attractions. Great location, just a few minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, Yorktown and Jamestown. We would stay again.

Totally unimpressed. No service at all, single bedroom unit was very small. This is a bunch of condo where some are sold, others are rented. Pool so full of Chemicals, had to buy goggles for son. Water must have been about 90 deg. Like a bath. Staff was not cooperative when I asked for an invoice. Couldn't be done and they didn't care about my problems. Do yourself a favor and go to a heotel

One of the nicest places to stay in the historic triangle area. Most convenient location to both Bush Gardens and Water Country USA, but also with great privacy. Short drive to both Colonial Williamsburg and Newport News. Very courteous staff with a map for every occasion at the front desk, ensuring that you won't get lost on the forest shrouded highways of Williamsburg. Highly recommend and plan to go back possibly in the fall.

When we walked into our "cottage" at King's Creek, we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities: fully equipped galley kitchen, washer and dryer, a big screen tv in the living room, and one in each bedroom. We expected to have to hear a sales pitch as it was a time share community, but didn't. We did, however, enjoy some of the planned activities-especially the ice cream sundaes! We really enjoyed our stay at King's Creek, and will return.

We stayed in a 2-brm townhome in "The Townes". The Townes has a great children's pool. There is a wading pool with fountain, and a 3-section pool for older kids...2ft, 3ft & 4ft deep. Families with younger children would enjoy this pool more than the pool in "The Cottages". There is no daily maid service at this hotel. The townhouse did have a washer/dryer, bath towels, beach towels, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and range, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishware, cookware, paper towels, and tissues. 3 Packets of dishwasher detergent are provided and only 1 packet of laundry soap is provided. The townhouse had 4 TVs and 3 DVD/VCR combo units. There also was a Bose Wave radio with CD. Walking within the resort is somewhat treacherous, as there are no sidewalks or trails, only the street which has hills and curves. The location is fantastic. It is a half mile from Water Country USA, about 3-5 miles from Busch Gardens, approx 10 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, and approx 15 minutes from Jamestown Settlement.

The resort is set up in condo cottages. Family friendly. Indoor and outdoor pools. Nice gift shop/grocery. We were in a small section of a condo, but it was adequate for two people. After finding our way around, we were in and out of Yorktown, Jamestown, and Williamsburg easily. I would recommend it if you like being able to cook and do some laundry on vacation.

My 2 children and I recently stayed for 4 nights in the smallest unit, the 1 bedroom. We were impressed by how well the kitchen was stocked, its appliances, etc. and the jacuzzi tub. The cute little patio was private and its right next door to the waterpark and close to Busch Gardens. If there are more than 3 people, I would recommed the 2 bedroom (it also has 2 baths). Very nice vacation option.

It was a very pleaseing layout of the resort development. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the kitchenette, except a pizza cutter. The pools and fitness center were nice, didn't have time to check out the sauna. The only thing that bothered me, since we stayed in a one bedroom, was the fact that the TV in the "study" (living room) was on top of the fridge. Very quiet, don't know how it would be if the other half was occupied.

My family took a 4-day vacation to visit the Historic Triangle in March,06. I chose this hotel because of the positive reviews of other guests who stayed there before. We stayed at a cottage and absolutely loved it! We saved lots of money by doing some light-cooking in the kitchen(though it's small but have everything you need). We brought our food and reheated it on the stove/mircowave. The property is well-maintained and the staff is friendly. Each property have a kitchen, dryer and washer, the only appliance missing is a dishwasher. The room rate is reasonable(we took advantage of off season rate). I will definitely recommand King's Creek Plantation to my friends and stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay here because of the fabulous aquatic center. The pool and two hot tubs were great. We played pool volleyball every night! Also the front desk gave us a print-out of directions to all the nearby places in Williamsburg we might want to go. Very helpful, friendly, people. And the room itself had everything you needed to cook your own meals, as other reviewers mentioned. Definitely would stay here again.

This is a condo as opposed to a hotel. There is no maid service, but there is a office that offers assistance if needed. The condo was very spacious, new, clean and well furnished. We had two comfortable bedrooms and a spare bed in a study. THere was also a kitchen, washer and drier, two bathrooms. Very comfortable. The pool and exercise facilities were excellent though a little crowded. Very convenient to all of the sites around Williamsburg, but a car is definitely needed to stay here.

The apartment-sized stove was shakey until I leveled it. The sheets on the bed were not fitted and I needed to use my handy bed sheet clips to keep them in place on the mattress. I had to debug the TV and connect it to the sattelite feed. The walls were thin, and there was a lot of noise from the family next door. The apartment was clean and the grounds were nice. Too early in the season to rate the outdoor pool, but the kids of the other guests seemed to be enjoying the indoor pool. Right in the middle of the historic triangle.

This was our 2nd trip to Kingscreek. We were there 5 years ago and really enjoyed it so we decided to take the trip back. We were very surprised to see the improvements this time around. The Aquatic/Fitness center was a major plus this time. The indoor pool and hot tub came in handy on our one rainy day there. They also provide a great selection of activities throughout the day that you may partake of. As before, the room/suite was terrific. Nice kitchen, huge bathroom, and great bedroom area.
