Very nice hotel, especially nice for a family. The room has a separate bedroom and two TVs and they have a nice breakfast buffet. Would be our first choice upon returning to Phoenix. The fresh warm cookies upon check in was a nice late night snack after getting in late from a flight.

This is a good hotel for families, but not so much for adults traveling without kids. All rooms are two-room suites, so the kids can have one room and the parents the other. Also, the free breakfast buffet makes the morning easier. The hotel is very convenient to the airport and is reasonably convenient to the various Scottsdale attractions. But the rooms have seen better days, not too mention the furniture in the lobby and restaurant. The quality of food in the breakfast buffet was pretty low and the restaurant seemed unable to keep the food warm (cold waffles and eggs are not my idea of a great breakfast). And because the hotel is nice for families, there are a lot of kids there. The kids are noisy (which is probably good if you are a family with noisy kids of your own) and in the pool from early til late. If you are an adult looking for a quiet, adult vacation, or if you are traveling on business, this probably isn't the hotel for you.

This is an older hotel being updated and renovated. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet, with outside halls. The hotel staff and on-site restaurant staff were very friendly and seemed to really care that we had a pleasant stay. The chocolate chip cookies at check-in are superb!

I'd definitely go back to this hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms/suites. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast with a lot of choice. Hotel lookes and feels like at least a 4-star hotel, but for some reason is only a 3-star hotel. Very close to the airport and the Phoenix Zoo.

I usually stay downtown during trips to Phoenix, but I had a terrific experience at the Doubletree, which is close to the airport. The suite was spacious, wireless internet was free and fast, and the warm cookie saved me after being starved on the airplane. I would definitely stay there on my next trip. The pool and outdoor spa are great, too.

Treated a single person really well. Several good meals in the restaurant and well served. TWICE the first room I was put in had very loud buzzing noises in the wall coming from air-conditioning unit. So on two different ocassions I had to change rooms. Second rooms were quiet. Great beds! Except for wall noise, I highly recommend this hotel. (No probelm changing rooms, either.)

Hotel was very nice especially for the price. The complimentary breakfast buffet was excellent. It was would have been excellent even if it wasn't free. Right around the corner from the Hotel was an international market the has several good reasonable priced resturants.
