What a beautiful place. The view from every window was gorgeous. We thought we lost an item and housekeeping was great about getting back to us. Love the big bed and the in room coffee pot and soaking tub. And, finally a hotel room with a mirror outside the bathroom so two people can dress at once. Also loved expedia's room rate.

One of the newer hotels in Boulder. Great location, lively atmosphere in the lobby/bar in the evening and the rooms are small but have a nice decor.

The hotel itself is beautiful -- modern craftsman. Simple understated elegance. Relaxing, inviting, beautiful. Service needs polishing. Some people say "It's just the way they do things in Boulder" but it has all the makings of a five star hotel. Valets and bellmen in tennis shoes? Wait staff in the elegant and delicious restaurant with their sleeves rolled up? Guests addressed as "guys" instead of "sir" or "ma'am"? The house keeeping staff has more polish than the wait staff which is a shame. The manager of the food services tells me they are making changes. I will be anxious to see them. The rooms are deliciously comfortable and the beds and pillows -- well, heavenly. Well worth trying.

They have the best hotel beds we have ever slept on. I would stay there in a heartbeat. Room service can be a bit slow at times.

The hotel is beautiful. It is located a couple blocks from the Pearl Street Mall. Hiking trails are also a short walk away. The service was excellent, and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Although it is a spa, our two small children were easily accommodated. A crib was waiting in our room on our arrival (requested a few days in advance). They even provided rubber ducky, hand towel, body wash, and brush for baby! A very nice touch and very characteristic of the overall experience.

I stayed at the St. Julien for 3 nights while on a business trip. You will not find a more restful location at which to stay. I will take much more business to Boulder simply because of the St. Julien.

St. Julien is a great place for a fun weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, going to great lengths to reasearch directions to obscure places we wanted to find. The bed was a most amazing sleeping experience with lots of pillows and clean sheets. The bathroom was luxurious with lots of towels and toiletries. Did I mention the bed? Oh yeah! You have to stay here
