| If you're looking for bargain this is the place. The location is absolutely perfect! A 5-15 min drive will get you to all the great attractions. The hotel is a little old and in need of some TLC, but it was a great price and very clean. My wife left a pair of very expensive Australian gemstone earrings on the night stand in the room and they were untouched when we returned! The complimentary breakfast is perfect for get up and go people, it's basically cold cereal, pastries, toaster waffles, and juice. I definitely recommend this hotel.

| I just stayed 6 days at this hotel. I will admit, it is not a 5 star, but it was more than what we needed it for. It was clean and comfortable. Tne rooms were good size and we had a nice big king size bed. The location was great for attractions like Mission Beach, Sea World. There are many restaurants in the area. Close locations to airport and freeways.

| If you're looking for comfort, but no frills, this is the place to stay . The hotel room had no table or extra chairs for sitting. There was a small refrigerator in the room, and continental brkf included. Reasonably priced

| In general, I didn't like this motel: sketchy neighborhood, unhelpful desk personnel, an inability to do simple set up (like replacing the coffee packet each day). But I was impressed with their maintenance department: upon arrival, our heater put out only cold air; the next day, we had a new heater installed.

| Our bathroom had mold around all of the grout and I killed a cockroach crawling across the tile in front of the toilet the first night. We spent only sleeping time there, so it was tolerable, but I don't want to stay in a hotel where I feel I need to zip my bags up at night so bugs don't get in. The customer service upon check in was rude and not helpful, but the check out day we had a very nice woman helping, so mixed bag there. If cleanliness isn't your top priority, this place is inexpensive and very close to MCRD and Sea World (within 5 mins of each), but I will not recommend it myself.

| Convenient for Sea World, local stores and eating. Internet access was fast. Breakfast was good. The room had no seats, and a couple of lights didn't work.

| The location of the hotel was very convenient. And surprisingly, the beds were quite comfortable. The room was not very clean or maintained well. I wiped down the faucets and toilets with Clorox wipes, and some dirt and stains came out. As in many old hotels with old carpets, there was a musty smell. You can't do anything about the smell, because you can't open any windows to air out the room.

| Pleasantly impressed with the quality, considering the price and star rating. Good breakfast variety, interesting tv programs. 15-minute walk to SeaWorld. 30-second walk to bus stop: direct buses to Old Town, Tram terminus, Mission beach.

| If you are looking for a hotel to basically use to sleep, shower and shave, this is it. Don't expect anything fancy. It is a barebones hotel that meets these basic needs during a trip.
