The lobby is somewhat cramped and there can be a wait for the elevators. However, our room on the 29th floor was very spacious, clean, and offered a serviceable kitchenette.

There was entirely too much riff-raff hanging around in the lobby, the hotel overbooked the rooms after I had reservations for a month and a half, I was given keys to two different rooms that were already occupied and walked in on the occupants. We were not given the rooms that we paid for, and the hotel management was so confused and disorganized they could not even begin to get things straight. I WILL NOT be back to the Radisson Downtown St. Louis.

The Radisson has a great King Corner Suite that's perfect if you're traveling with kids. It has a kitchenette, separate king bedroom, and big living room with pull-out sofa. Very reasonably price on the weekend. The hotet is close to Arch and Busch Stadium.

We requested a king bed, non-smoking room, but when we checked in, we were told there were no more rooms left that fit this description. However, the attendant upgraded us to a suite which we found to be very comfortable and clean. The hotel could use refurbishing (new carpet, paint, etc.), but we LOVED our room.

From the picture on their website it fit what I was looking for... until I arrived. The parking garage is narrow and full of one way rams. Very hard to find parking for $10/ day. I had to walk past a smelly dumbster to get to the door of the hotel everytime I had to go to and from the garage. The main entrance was "under construction". The hotel lobby was old and broken down. The room was hideous especially the bathroom. The tub was dirty, mold on the grout, carpet was full of stains, etc. In my opinion.. this hotel needs a real facelift. You can tell it's age both inside and out. Great location though.

While the Radisson is extremely close to the Arch, downtown area attractions, and major highways, it leaves much to be desired. Guests cannot control the temperature in their rooms, for example; it is all centrally controlled, and requires a technician to change. The bathroom was cramped and worn. It felt like being on a 20 year-old cruise ship, complete with shaky toilet; odor-emitting sink; and tiny, dingy shower. Finally, the hotel charges far too much to park in its cramped parking structure, which also houses dumpsters. Finding a spot was difficult enough without being overwhelmed by the stench of garbage unfortunately magnified by the summer heat.

Staff was great, enjoyed the pool even though it is small, but it is on the 30th floor. Our room had a great view and was very comfortable seeing it was over 95 degrees outside. The best thing was we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to go or it was only 3 blocks or so to the metro. I`d go back anytime!!!

The hotel was a great refreshing change from the small adequate hotels you usually stay at. This one had vintange detail but very well layed out. The rooms were like suites and large bathrooms. The room was complete with a full kitchen, no microwave though but it was like being at home. This will be my hotel whenever I go to St. Louis. Would recommend it highly. Parking was $10.00 for the entire stay and downtown that is a bargain. In walking distance to great eating place, Casino boat and the Arch.

Our stay was during the Fair St. Louis, which is typically one of the areas busiest times. Check in was smooth and the staff was very polite and friendly. Everyone we encountered from the hotel went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The restaurant staff at the hotel was alittler slower than we liked and the menu was limited. No complaints about the food.

The staff at this Radisson was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, no matter how hard they try, this hotel is physically below par. The hotel directory lists a non-existant gift shop, the linens in our non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes, the vending machines would not accept our dollar bills, and the roof-top pool is just plain creepy!

We recently stayed at the Radisson in St. Louis. It was extremely convenient for us because we came to town for a St. Louis Cardinals game. The hotel was about 4 blocks from the stadium. That was about the only great thing that stands out in my mind about the hotel. It is one of the older hotels in the city, and you can tell it. Their air conditioning system was cranked in our room, and I was still breaking a sweat. I called down to the front office and they sent a guy up with a big rusty box fan for us to use. There were a couple of burnt out light bulbs in the room also. The room's cleanliness was satisfactory and the service was pretty good though.

It has an incredible view of the Arch, but for a Raddison, it was a disappointment. The building is clearly aging. I booked the room through Expedia, but the room I got was not at all what I paid for. It took some arm twisting to get moved to a room that matched the name and description on my reservation. I had paid the extra fee for the extra 2 members of the family, but it seems that it was a major inconvenience for them to bring bedding for the hide-a-bed for my two children.

Not only do you have the view of the Arch from your room, but it is also in walking distance. You have restaurants all around you, along with historic buildings and if you think that the night life might be a problem, there are many restaurants open till late, you can go for a horse and carriage ride, or simply walk through their beautiful parks. I went for my honeymoon and I don't regret it one bit. It was great!

I'll start out with the good: *The hotel looks very nice. The lobby and rooms are generally maintained well. *Room service was delicious and arrived right on time. Now the bad: *The pool. Don't be fooled by the allure of the "rooftop pool." The pool is dirty looking, too small to accomodate a substantial amount of people, and offers a single unisex bathroom which is not what many would call "clean." *The front desk service. The front desk employee who checked us in mumbled, didn't look at us when she spoke, and held conversations with fellow employees instead of focusing on the customers directly in front of her. Secondly, we called the front-desk to find out when a specific area attraction opened in the morning. We were guaranteed that it opened at one time, only to find that in fact it opened an hour later, effectively re-scheduling our whole day. *The hotel bar. Two out of the three bartenders we encountered were rude. They looked annoyed when we would place an order, we were largely ignored and they didn't know how to run the cash register which caused us to be late to our destination, and there were a few relatively common drinks we ordered that they didn't even know how to make. Lastly, *The room temperature. We couldn't get our room to cool down no matter how low we turned the thermostat. Steer clear of this one if possible.

It met our needs but not our expectations. It was a basic room with basic amenities. The walls were thin and you heard people in the hall and felt the wall/bed shake when the neighbors let their door "close". It was a very hot, holiday weekend and the a/c was turned all the way but the room was cool, not cold. The tub didn't drain very fast but the shower felt good (and the shower head was over 5' tall unlike many hotels). the desk staff was very helpful and gave us good directions and suggestions for places to eat breakfast, etc. It was convenient to sites and had a nice view of the arch. Some rooms had balconies but ours didn't. It would help if there was more accessible info ahead of time and in the room about costs to access internet and parking costs/rules. It took some searching to find out. It was nice to have in/out parking at a flat cost.

I selected thishotel because it was within walking distance of my destination and among the least expensive. When I walked into my room, I was met with two rooms, attactive and close to new furniture and an amazing view of the Arch (all that glass is good for something. The bathroom was small but clean- only a shower though. The restaurant- deadly quiet and expensive- everyone was in the kitchen and did not notice me come in...or leave. The hotel next door had a good restaurant with a great tiramisu cheesecake. I would definately go back...espesially for the price:)
