| I ended up with a nicer room than the minimal traveller's room I reserved. It was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The bathroom was small and had only a shower stall but was adequate.

| I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 10 years. This time the customer service really blew me away. The door man, the night my daughter flew in to meet me, helped her carry her bags up to the room and surprise me. Everytime we saw him after that, he asked how we were. The concierge was also extremely helpful when we wanted to go to the movies, printing out show times, maps and helping us find a restaurant. The young man who brought our room service one night noticed the book my daughter was reading and talked to her about it since he had recently read it also. We used the free shuttle service twice which saved us a lot of extra walking and dealing with the T when we had lots of packages. We had a great stay and would definitely go back again.

| the hotel was very clean and comfortable. i hated having to pay another $25 for parking but that is actually not bad for boston i guess! the room was very clean and modern the beds were comfortable. not exactly in the heart of boston but very close. 2 minute walk to the museum of science and the train... also across the street from a large shopping mall.

| Each year we stay at the hotel during a rowing regatta, because the views of the Charles River and the Boston skyline are outstanding. The rooms are well appointed, clean, quiet, and always updated. It's a few blocks to a stop on the Boston subway system (although temporarily you must take a bus as the station is under repair), plus walking distance to the Museum of Science, a large shopping mall, and several decent restaurants. Only shortcoming is that our request for connecting rooms was not honored, although we made the request six months ago. Otherwise, the hotel, its bar, business center, lovely spa with huge pool and hot tub, Starbucks, and other amenities were fantastic!

| Great hotel, right across from the Galleria and pretty close to downtown Boston. Great views of the Charles river. It has two different towers and I definitely recommend the one to the right of the main entrance.

| I enjoyed my stay very much. It was a weekend get away that went bad when my husband got sick but the fact that the hotel was great made the trip worthwhile. The room was clean and because the hotel is right along the Charles River there was a really nice view.

| I liked the rooms and the layout of the hotel but other than somewhere to sleep it didnt offer much else. We got in late and the only choice for a beverage was the $4.50 1Liter of water in the room. There should be at least one drink machine somewhere. The dining choices were very poor, only 2 restaurants/lounge. Some nights you are just too tired to get out on the town. The location was ok but not close enough to walk to any of the attractions.

| The room we were given was so small that the arrangement of the furniture was such that it was not possible to sit at the small table and watch television at the same time. Thursday night's dirty glasses were still sitting on the sink when we returned to the room late Friday night. The ice machine made good ice, but if we wanted a bottle or can of soda, it was necessary to leave the hotel, because there were no drink machines.

| This hotel had small rooms, but the two queen size beds were very comfortable, .even the pillows were fine. If I am not mistaken, there were down comforters. It was very clean. It's conveniently located in Cambridge, just steps away from the Science Museum, and walking distance to other subway stops. The view from our room was breathtaking, and just steps away from the river Charles. We got a room with the river and city view for the price of one that looks the other way. The other way is across the street, which is a big mall, which, to my regret, wife and daughter enjoyed too frequently. Do not forget to tip the room maids!

| We have stayed at the Royal Sonesta perhaps 15 times in the last few years, and every time, our stay is less comfortble, the rooms are lower in quality, and people seem to be less helpful. Not sure if it's that they're sick of us or if the atmosphere at the hotel is changing. Either way, we'll look at other options next time.

| Hotel was clean. Parking was affordable. Downtown Boston sights, Science Museum, Quincy Market, and the Aquarium were within a moderate walk from the hotel. Rooms were small and hotel staff were not very knowledgable about area attractions. There were no nightclubs close by and limited dining choices. The local train stop was closed for rebuilding.

| The hotel was clean, attactive and the staff was very helpful. The only bit of info that I would caution travelers about is the use of the "free" shuttle service. The shuttle runs for limited hours and limited seating. It is not always available so it is helpful to make reservations as soon as you know your plans.
