Just got back yesterday and looking forward to another trip there soon. Friendly staff. Several stores right in the hotel. Water sport rentals and scooters available in complex

For the price for one night's accommodations at this hotel, I was extremely shocked upon my arrival, especially after taking a virtual tour online to see the 'luxurious' accommodations. The room was one of the smallest that I have ever stayed in. Even in the lobby, they have 'samples' of the bed linens to demonstrate the 'high quality'. This appeared to me as false representation...demonstrated by the lack of these linens being in our 'suite'. Perhaps we were placed in one of these rooms due to the fact that a wedding party had utilized their building for their festivities and they may have received all of the higher quality rooms. Due to the wedding party, I was also unable to utilize the 'customer' parking lot...which was filled with cars that did not have the proper parking permits.(despite the fact that it was posted that violators would be towed). I honestly feel that I could have stayed at a different hotel and received better service and accommodations for my money.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Casa Marina. We had heard some doubtful reviews due to the age of the hotel, but when we arrived we realizied it was everthing we hoped for! The 1920's charm gave it such character. The rooms were very well taken care of by the room staff and our room was an amazingly comfortable suite. So quiet and cool. There were palm trees and shade on the beach and all around the hotel. At night it was lit beautifully. There was a really nice cabana bar, and swimming off the peir was really fun. The pools were clean and inviting and the hotel had all the amenities that you would find in Key West available right on site! We were so happy with our experience that we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else on Key West! Wonderful. Perfect.

This is a very nice hotel with helpful staff and a great pool and beach area. The atmosphere is relaxing but also fun and is appropriate for couples or families. It's a little out of the way if you are wanting to be within walking distance from all the action on Duval Street though. A taxi is required/suggested for that; although, there are scooter and bicycle rentals available on-site.

This hotel is a beautiful property, but is in bad need of refurbishing. Reservations were wrong and not handled properly. Apparently, the hotel was sold recently and the new owners have, maybe, not had time to return it to its past spendor. The staff was great and did the best that they could under the circumstances. Hopefully, in the future, with upgrades, it will be raised to a more appropriate rating

Hotel was nice, staff freindly but everyone expected a large tip. Cost of bottled water was $8, with anything offered for sale, at the hotel, way over priced. Were glad we had this experience but will probably not go back in the future. If you stay at this hotel, in Key West, take plenty of cash!!!

This is my 2nd trip to Casa and once again it was wonderful! The beach is beautiful, everyone was friendly and service was great! The only suggestion I would make: the menu was changed on the beach restaurant the day we left, and it just didn't have very good choices. It seemed more like the food I expected inside rather than food by the beach. Others were suggesting that to management the same as us. Hopefully they will change. I will definitely be back again for a perfectly relaxing and wonderful holiday!

The resort itself looks nice from the outside from the front. It's beautiful out back. There is an outside restaurant, bar, pool, a wading pool, hottub, and of course the Atlantic ocean. There's a private beach between the resort and the water lined with palm trees. The only complaints I had were that they can't guarantee the bed types, just that they'll fit the number of guests. My wife and I had to stay in separate beds. Also, the in hotel restaurant is quite pricy. It's very convenient, but I advise going elsewhere for most meals.

Old and in need of much maintenance. Drawers in dresser broken, lights over sink and in bathroom much too dim. No tv remote in room, some lights not working. Elevators were out of order entire Xmas weekend, Pier to access ocean closed as was float off beach and cannot access ocean without them because of coral. Room service couldn't get a hamburger cooked less than hockey puck well done! Would rather pay a little more and go elsewhere next time in Key West.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Key West, I was disappointed the this resort. The room was nice but old, the air conditioner leaked and vibrated most of the time. The hallways smelled like mildew. Location was alright, not very good beaches. Neat history. All this needs is some major renovations and we would go back.

Casa Marina is one of those properties that has been allowed to go on a bit too long past its prime. The areas housing the guest rooms, as well as the rooms themselves, need a complete overhaul. Once brought back into shape, it will once again be a wonderful place to stay. In the meantime, you may want to spend a bit more for another property in fantastic Key West.

With the exception of our room being a bit "tired," we thoroughly enjoyed staying at a hotel that was right on the beach. We found the hotel staff very friendly and efficient. You may think the Casa Marina is too far from Old Town, but we walked back leisurely and enjoyed the scenery. It's also much quieter on this side of Key West, so it's easier to get a good night's sleep!

Beautiful location, staff was very helpful and friendly. Our only complaint was that there were weddings booked there every night as well as a huge party which closed off the main pool and outdoor bar for an entire evening. The restaurant was overpriced for mediocre food, but convenient. Plan on doing a fair amount of walking unless you rent a car, but there is a lot to see on those walks.....

The Wyndham Casa Marina has excellent services and an impressive beach and pool area. We found our room was nice and clean and extremely comfortable. The brightly painted walls and fun fabrics brighten up the room and make it a relaxing place to rest after a day of activities. The pool area has thick padded lounges for sunning and reading. A nearby beach bar has drinks available to help cool you off. Overall the Casa Marina is relaxing and fun and a real pleasure to stay at.

It was close enough to walk to Duval Street or take a taxi. The price was a little to high for a nice basic room but most places in key west are.

We were given lousy rooms for our stay at the Wyndham Casa Marina Resort over Christmas 2004. We were first given a room next to a large, noisy kitchen fan, so noisy it made the room vibrate. Our courteous bellhop took us to another room that was quiet and comfortable but not as pretty as the room featured on the Expedia website. This room had small windows starting about 10 feet high up on the wall and no view. The following day we asked to be moved to another room, hoping for more light, and our only choice was to move to a noisy, smoking room or a room that we later discovered to smell of vomit. Unfortunately, we chose the room that smelled of vomit, hoping that housekeeping could take care of the problem. However, the stench became overpowering. I found a neatly folded blanket in the bureau drawer that reeked of vomit. The next morning we went to the reception desk at 10 am, begging for a normal room. Although other guests were checking out, the desk clerk insisted there were no other rooms available. I became irate, and she took my cell phone number. Only after discussing the problem with the manager upon returning to the hotel that evening were we promised a better room. In fact, the manager upgraded us to a room with an ocean view and waived the daily "resort fee" during our stay because of our problems.

The lobby is vey nice and 1930's Key West in style. There is a sign in the lobby saying the rooms will be renovated this fall and they need it. The carpets in our room were badly stained and worn. The service was very good and generally very friendly. The breakfest buffet, although pricey at$15.99 was excellent, a great omlette. That's the only meal we had there. Nice location on the ocean. You can walk to Duval St. and Hemingway's house. Nice swimming pools. I'd rate it a B but will probably be upgraded after the renovation.

The hotel was old, but stylish. The room was very nice and the ocean view was very soothing. Flaglers restaurant was nice for breakfast, but there is a small donut and coffee stand out front that is much cheaper and less filling. Shula's is probably the finest steak house around and the one next door is as good as it gets. Service there was first class! Overall a great experience and a great place for kids as well. The beach wasn't very nice, but that's the Keys.
