During my stay the hotel was in the middle of renovations due to new management. I can only assume that is why my room wasn't always cleaned in a timely fashion, they did not have shuttle service to the airport, and the food was not very good at the bar and too expensive in the restaurant. Maintenance knocked on the door several times to replace/update items in the room. I think this hotel has potential once they get settled in. The location is excellent!!! Very convenient to tourist attractions.

The hotel was great. Location and parking were good. I only complain about three things. I called to ask if they provided parking and the first time was told no, the second time I was told about the valet parking. The concierge gave us horrible directions to a local attraction and, I feel a hotel of this quality should have a complimentary breakfast.

Hotel lobby(entire 1st floor and drive up area)was under significant construction. To be completed by 4-15-6, but will be a stretch to et it all completed it appeared. Was a minor distraction during our stay. Upgraded us at checkin to East tower,Arch-view room. Evening desk clerk very helpful at checkin getting us a nice room. Some south facing rooms will actually view into new baseball stadium and can see entire game. Our room was newly renovated, but some things still not right: wallpaper seams coming apart, small bathroom-door hits toilet when seat is down, sheets dont fit the bed correctly. Very good location and walking distance to the 3 major sports venues, the Arch, and shopping. Parking lot is 1 block walk to deck, but OK. Minimal choices for dining in the area-Fridays is across street in north direction open til midnite.

This hotel is under major renovation. The amenities listed such as Star Bucks and Arcade were not open due to construction. Getting to our room involved going up one set of elevators, then had to follow yellow tape on the floor thru scaffolding and construction dust to get to elevators for the east tower. This was very difficult with luggage and children. We requested a roll away cot when we checked in at 1:30PM and after three phone calls to the front desk it wasn't delivered until 11:00PM, without extra blankets or pillows. Saturday night the pool was closed without explanation. The heater/air conditioner is execeptionally loud and runs off and on all night....very disruptive for a good night sleep.

Hard to find the entrance w/ the construction. In the hotel we were told to follow the yellow tape to our room, which was in the east tower(the east tower lobby was closed). We had to take the elevator in the west tower to the 2nd floor & then walk across the hotel to the east tower & through the mess of renovation to take that elevator from the 2nd to the 10th floor. When we entered our room we immediately had to call for housekeeping. We found candy wrappers on the floor & a dirty washcloth that was covered in hair hanging on the shower curtain rod.On the 2nd day we further inspected our rm to ensure the safety of our toddler,we found a tooth onthe floor in b/t the wall & the bed (there was about 1ft. space to access that side of the bed)& a beer cap,& more food wrappers b/t the night stand & the bed. When we informed the hotel of the the matters they couldn't have cared less. There were no apologies or measures taken to make up for the disasterous stay.On the last night of our trip we noticed a wet area in the floor that started by the bathroom & went down the wall, we called for maintenance & a man came up promptly, he then left "to get something"& came back about 45min. later w/ a man who was carrying what appeared to be a drink from the bar.I don't know what they did, but the next morning the wet spot was not any better. The rm service was good & along with the bellmen were very courteous. However, I wouldn't stay @ this hotel again if it were for free.

The hotel was large and had a lot to do. The breakfast buffet was great and there was a nice pool and hottub. There was constrcution going on at the hotel but it was not a disturbance-they are renovating to make it better. The location was wonderful because it was close to the Arch and shopping. There were also two great places to eat across the street- Calico's and Friday's- both recommeded but Calico's is more bang for your buck.

This hotel is located in a great area; it's within walking distance from everything! The view of the construction of Busch Stadium was great! The rooms were comfortable and clean. I only had two problems... First, I was not given the room I requested. Instead of fixing it the staff tried to say it was my fault. They did not offer to make it better. Second, the staff was very rude. When I tried to get questions answered I was treated very poorly. This hotel would be perfect if the staff would treat guests with common courtesy. They definately need to work on their customer service! If they would improve this I would love to come back.

Very nice hotel, large and spacious. In the lobby you will find a "Starbuck's", a sports lounge and a gift shop. Best of all was the location. Two blocks from the Arch, one block from the new Busch Stadium, and just about 5 blocks from Edward Jones Dome. What a great location. It was very easy to access from all the major interstates that run through St. Louis. Hotel included a free shuttle to the River Boat gambling pier. Great resturants close by as well. I bearly needed the rental car because everything was so close. I would definitely recommend the hotel.
