| This hotel was conveniently located to several large shopping areas. A short drive to everything. The continental breakfast was very good and had a large seating area. The staff was very polite and friendly, ample free parking, very safe and secure area. We would definitely go back.

| I needed an inexpensive hotel in the area for a short trip and this one met all my needs. Convenient and straight forward. Fitness center was small, but adequate. Fine for a short trip, but not a vacation destination hotel.

| The no smoking request was not honored and we were told there are no promises on internet reservation requests. The room smelled like old stale cigarette smoke and was very unpleasant. They did move us to a non-smoking room for our next nights stay. It was much better.

| Ratings said 3.5 stars so should be nice, but just a cheap box motel. The room A/C was so noisey I could not turn it on at night, the walls had no insulation to block hallway noise, the shower drain did not and the free breakfast was so bad that the fruit chunks were still frozen and the orange juice was watered down. Lots of other motel options in that area of Jacksonville to choose from.

| The room was not clean and had an odor. The staff was not accommodating when I asked to switch rooms. Many better hotel options in the area.

| When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by cheerfulcustomer service. They won my comrad and myself overwith complimentary coupons for Dave and Busters. Welove gaming! The room was clean and very comfortable.I had problem with food getting stuck in the snackmachine, which security quickly handled. However thecontinental breakfast needed more variety and thedining facilities could've been larger. Only onecomputer with internet access for a 3 star hotel wasdisappointing. Not being able to use my own videogamesystem on the hotel tv was a little over the top also.Overall though a solid purchase.

| Hotel location was ideal, but we had booked a non-smoking room, and when we arrived were told they were sold out and had to give us a room for smokers. The room smelled terrible. No windows to open, not even a vent in the bathroom to exhaust the smell. All we could do was endure the stench. Breakfast was a typical contintental joke with cereal, bagels, juice and coffee. Bed was OK, but otherwise nothing spectacular. This is advertized as a 3 star hotel! I don't think so.

| I travel on business a lot and have tried at least 5 other hotels in the Southpoint area of Jacksonville. They have been a major disappointment. Although the Best Western Southpoint is a little "pricey" for my budget, it is worth it to be able to count on a clean comfortable place in a good location.

| The Best Western JTB/Southpoint Hotel was an average hotel. It was nice, but not exceptional. It was in a nice location and it was easy to get on and off I-95 from. There was no restaurant in-house and the continental breakfast was barely adequate for a quick, light start to the day. It was several miles to local restaurant for a more complete, hot breakfast or for dinner. The service and cleanliness of the hotel was very good, but I will likely stay elsewhere, closer to shops and restaurants during future visits to Jacksonville.
