| Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and quick to respond to requests. Kids loved the bunkbeds and the water park was very impressive. Water park great for kids of all ages! Very convenient to mall, 1/2 mile at most. Hotel resturant very good! Would suggest you purchase the water park passes with your room, kids can then visit every day! You can shop for a while and then go back to the hotel and let the kids have fun.

| The atmosphere was great! The water park is so convienent! Close to Mall of America. Took us 10 minutes to walk to it. Would definately stay there again. The only negative is the shuttle only runs to the airport every hour and to the MOA every half hour. We waited at the airport 50 minutes for the shuttle.

| The rooms are wonderful, especially with kids - loved the bunk beds idea. My only complaint is the hotel restaurant. My food was bad. I normally never complain, but thought the chef would want to know. The waitress never offered any substitution, nor comped anything off the bill and even worse never appologized. That was inexcusable. I heard others later complain about the food also.

| We were looking for a fun 'weekend thing' to do with the kids and we found it! We were so impressed with the room. We have 3 girls and they were thrilled to each have their own little bed with their own nightlights!! We enjoyed being able to watch a movie after the kids were in bed! The waterpark is awesome.. very fun, very clean and with a lifegard every 100 feet or so it felt very safe, too!

| We checked in and were pleased to find out they were able to upgrade us to a room with a separate bunk room for the kids. The room was quite unique - a good set up for up to 4 kids. Our package included 4 waterpark passes. Waterpark was quite impressive with many different options for the kids.

| We went to the Grand Lodge/Waterpark of America when we had company visiting. It's location is convenient to the Mall of America and the waterpark has plenty to do. We were there on a Sunday/Monday end of July and found the crowd to be light and manageable. The rooms were nice with pleasing decor, the best part was being able to sleep 2 adults and 4 kids in a room without extra charges or trying to sneak anyone in and have to sleep on the floor. The bunkbed set up worked well for 2 of our kids, the pull out worked fine for the other 2, and the king bed could even hold an overflow if needed! The rooms have central air, not one of those noisy below the window things, and the vanity is outside the bathroom which speeds getting ready. There was a fridge and microwave and safe for no extra charge. We found the best price to be through Expedia. The room included 4 wrist bands, but we ended up with 5 and you get admission to the waterpark both days (check in and out). The kids had a great time, the price was right, and it beats a regular hotel with standard pool. We ate in the restaurant for the breakfast buffet which was fine, although maybe a little pricey, and service was great. I would not describe it as luxury (no mints on the pillows) but it was upscale and grand without being snooty. It felt family friendly in both colors/decorating and ammenities. We would go back, but probably during a cold Minnesota winter.

| Our family recently vacationed here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and spacious and the kids (10,13) loved the bunk beds. We all also enjoyed the waterpark. The only meal we had at the hotel was pizza from room service (which was excellent). There is a Walmart just down the street where we bought cereal/snacks and there is an IHOP across from the Mall of America which made less expensive eating options. We would absolutely go back!

| I was nervous about staying here as a businessman -- figured it might not be appropriate given the water park. I was wrong -- it was very nice. Modern clean hotel, not loud, very good room service, and generally homey feel. For the price, it was great. Wasn't the best location for my downtown meeting, but it is near the airport so not too inconvenient. Definitely recommend it.

| The Grand Lodge and Water Park was excellent as a place to stay. The room was lovely and very comfortable. I especially liked the lights by the bed and the bunk beds for kids. We had a very short stay there and were in a hurry to check out. They did not have enough people at the desk as I had to wait in line over 5 minutes. Maybe they are still getting organized. Thank you.

The hotel rooms had everything we needed with plenty of storage, a safe, fridge and microwave, spacious sleeping and bath facilities. Staying at the Grand Lodge makes visiting the Water Park of America very easy. The water park was wonderful for children of all ages, and the staff there was also very good. I highly recommend a stay at the Grand Lodge Hotel and Water Park of America.

| This hotel really exceeded my expectations and delighted our children. The rooms are spacious and the bunk beds are in an alcove with individual night lights and a curtain that can be pulled to give privacy. The rooms were clean and new with good views and a great t.v. The beds were very comfortable and we will definitely return. The rest of the hotel is great as well. The restaurant was to our satisfaction with lots of good food for both adults and children and good service. The waterpark was lots of fun and well staffed. We spent 4 hours there and could have spent more. The arcade is like a mall arcade with lots of games for all ages and tickets to be won and redeemed for prizes. Don't miss this one!

| The Grand Lodge opened its doors in May 2006. You could tell from our that hotel was definately still new. Our room included a king bed and 4 bunk beds for the kids. The kids really seemed to enjoy having their own bed. The furnishings in the room were top notch. The Waterpark of America was a great feature and enjoyed by all. Our only complaint was that room serice ended at 10 pm.

The belcony view was the waterpark where we spent quite a bit of time. We took a shuttle to the mall of America in our spare time. My son loved the archade. Very clean and great atmosphere.

| Very nice hotel. New facility and very well maintained. The staff was nice and helpful. The main diner/bar was very nice for a sit down meal. Sunday bruch was over priced for what they offered. I would skip the brunch, but there are no other close by options for breakfast other than the Mall of America. Cafateria style restuarant was only accessible through the waterpark, which was bad for getting a quick meal. Snack bar was good and offered ice cream, candy and coffee. Overall the dining options are o.k., but not what they should be for a resort type property. Area around hotel is very baren except for Mall of America (which is within walking distance). Disappointed with the waterpark. The daily charge is way too high for what they offer. The waterpark is nice, but it doesn't warrent the daily price they charge. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but it doesn't compare well with other waterpark/hotels I have stayed at in the past.

| Hotel was clean (but it's brand new!) all staff was friendly and helpful. Exception being in the arcade, teenage kid employees (what do you expect) Waterpark was great for the kids. i have an 18month old and 6 year old and they both had a blast. We have stayed at other hotels that claim they have "huge" indoor waterparks and have usually been disappointed. Not Here!! Worth the money!! Only complaints: King bed was like a rock and PARKING!!!! there is no dedicated hotel parking, so when the waterpark is busy on the weekend, you have to walk a mile to the front lobby doors. There are no side entrances into hotel. Overall would go back for the kids.

| We thought the hotel was beautiful, we had some issues with the hotel being so new that they had no information in the rooms about the hotel or surrounding attractions, but if you went to the hotel desk they were glad to help if they could. The suite with the King size bed and built in bunkbeds was really great with kids. The down side was that we had 6 registered guests but were only given 4 waterpark passes. Doesn't make much sense to me. We were told we couldn't buy additonal passes at the reduced rate from the desk because we were pre-pay (bought our package through expedia). We ended up buying the additonal passes from the waterpark at full price:(

| First off the Grand Lodge's staff was so friendly as soon as I checked into my room someone from the front desk called to make sure everything was to my liking. The room was so comfortable I really enjoyed it. The four waterpark passes that came along with the room weren't so bad either! I would recommend to eat at the restaurant they have downstairs to anyone. We ordered a couple of their pizzas for room service and they were awesome! I could only imagine how good the rest of their food is!
