| The El Dorado Hotel and Spa is a beautiful facility with a wonderful staff. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay while enjoying shopping and museums in historic Santa Fe, this is the place. My only disappointment was that they were renovating the hotel entrance which caused some confusion with hotel parking.

| The hotel was grand, and the Sunday Brunch fabulous. We used the hotel's valet parking and it turned out to be a great idea, as parking is difficult in the area - and walking was so convenient. It was a bit spendy, but averaged out just fine for our 5-day stay.

| Reserved delux room was given a superior on checkin, manager said we didn't pay for delux room. Later we were moved to delux room, the carpet was so dirty I had to throw away a pair of white socks. Many other places to pick from in the Santa Fe downtown area. We thought they were alittle to proud of the 4 star rate, we have stayed in much nicer places and much cleaner.

| Aside from the fact that there was an annoying fan noise in the walls, that went on all night, my morning shower fluctuated between ice cold and scalding hot, with no intervention from me. To make matters worse, when I told the front desk clerk about it at checkout, I was given an ambiguous explanation, and an assurance that it might be fixed at some indetermite date in the future. No offer to adjust my rate. Oh yeah, and shouldn't a four-star hotel have a blow dryer?

| The Eldorado hotel was a nice place. Overall, we were very satisfied with most aspects of the hotel. One possible area of improvement might be the workout facilities as they were a bit small and cramped. However, I am a frequent user of a large health club so my view of great workout faclities is somewhat biased.

| Great Location near the plaza and all it has to offer. Fantastic rooms with all the little things that make staying at a nice hotel such a treat (ie those plush robes and slippers). The staff were very helpful. Its a hotel that I will certainly return to.

| The El Dorado is very well located, right near the Plaza, but the rooms were not as nice as we had expected. We paid extra for a "superior" room, but what we got was a simple, regular, two double bed room. I had expected better. There were very few televisions stations available, though they advertise cable and no movie stations. To watch a movie in the room one has to pay $13. We tried to pay the money only to find that the movies were unavailable. Something was wrong with the central control. There are many other luxury hotels in Santa Fe. For my money, I would stay in one of the others next time.
