| Loved the Hotel - upgraded to ocean view room for free due to fact we needed adjoining rooms. Great suprise - it was amazing! Couple of things though, Super pool closes at 5:30pm every day and doesn't open till 8:30am. We like to sit at the pool at night. Then fire alarm went off at 2am in the morning one day and we couldn't get ahold of anyone to see what was going on. Food prices on premises are to expensive - that's just wrong!

| Somehow, HHV could not find our guaranteed reservation thru Expedia. We had the paperwork, so after one hour, even though the hotel was oversold, we not only got a room in the Kalia Tower that we had paid for, we were upgraded to the 22nd floor, which entitled us to the Executive Lounge on the 25th floor, a huge perk with a great breakfast buffet and fabulous view. Kalia Tower is the newest tower and therefore houses both the Fitness Center (a good gym by hotel standards) and the Spa. While the Spa is pricey, the treatments and quality of practicioners is among the best I've ever experienced...try the Hot Stone Massage, incredible. Though we had a full-on ocean view, the complex is so large that it was distant. If view is your motivation, take either the Rainbow or Alii Towers instead. The only other criticism is having to walk to Central Waikiki...about 1/2 mile away. Overall we were satisfied; the food overall was good also...and we ate in several of the restaurants.

| We were on our honeymoon. The hotel has a great beach, is convinient to Waikiki shops. However, the hotel is very overpriced for the area. The $25 dollar breakfast buffet was disappointiing, they double charged us for parking, and charged for using the in room safe (an accommodation). We had a great trip but not at the hotel. The fireworks were okay. Everything that was entertaining was a one drink minimun to sit down. All of the restruants were over priced and not good quality. I would not reccommend this hotel to anyone. I would stay somewhere else. All of the hotels looked nice in the area. For what you pay a night, they shouldn't charge so much for everything else.

| We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and well-maintained. There was entertainment in some of the lounges and at the pool in the evening. The staff was helpful in giving information about tours and directions to places we wanted to visit. There were many nice shops right on the resort as well as some great restaurants. Our room was newly decorated and everything worked well. The only negative comment is the lack of a guest laundry. It would have been nice to be able to wash bathing suits and beach clothes.

| This is an excellent choice whether for leisure or business. You can not anything more than what was found in the Hilton complex. The room was comfortable and clean. The ocean view room was simply marvelous. When we needed anything from directions to a beach towel, we received service with a smile. Me and my wife plan to make a return soon without the kids.

| HHV is a great place to stay. Especially with kids. We just returned from a stay over the 4th of July weekend and not only is the hotel beatuiful but the staff is friendly and helpful and it's got everything you'd want. The grounds are gorgeous and give the feeling of relaxation, fun and over all tropical Island vibes. Great beach, great pools. They are plenty big enough. There aren't many chairs but we just grabbed one for everyone to put their towels on and went in the pool anyhow. Stayed in the Ali'i tower. Although it had extra amenities I don't think you'd miss them in any of the other towers. You're just not in your room much. The concierge was very helpful in getting us a dinner reservation one evening though, after a failed attempt in calling the restaurant directly for our desired time. The rooms in this tower were very nice sized though and we loved our view of the super pool. I was with my 6yr old son and my 14yr old niece. And even with a kid and a teenager there was still room. My mom and stepdad, avid travelers, were also with us and they were very pleased with the hotel as well. Anyway, fun, fun place. It's Hawaii and it exudes Hawaii from head to toe. Ahhhhh, I wish I were there right now. Go, you will have a wonderful time.

| Our first trip to Hawaii and it was made even more wonderful by staying at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The hotel staff was courteous, and attentive. The ammenities were everything we dreamed of and more. The hotel grounds are even more beautiful than what we could have expected. The hotel offers almost anything you could possibly want from souviners to high end shops, and pizza to the finest of restaurants. We also enjoyed the great drinks and live entertainment at the various bars throughout the village. What a truly wonderful experience.

| I was very satisfied with the hotel and its service. Food prices on site are very high. I recommend going someplace else to eat if you have your family with you. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again but I would request the Rainbow Tower so I would be closer to the beach rather than having to walk.

There were so many things to do, that we did not even do everything that we wanted. You can also rent all kinds of beach items right at the hotel and my granddaugher took surfing lessons offered by the hotel. There is also a car rental facility right at the hote, which is every convenient. It was a great vacation and I would definitely go back again.

| Have been to Honolulu X 6, but this was first stay at this Hilton. Really enjoyed the beautiful grounds, good food, and beach. So easy to book tours in the Tapa tower or book dining reservations at our Kalia tower front desk. Really enjoyed dinner at Bali on the Sea. Never felt the crowds here, as the resort is broken up into many different towers, pools, and shopping. Very comfy room with beautiful ocean view with small lanai. Friday night fireworks is a treat, but display too short.

| We've stayed at this Hilton many times, almost every year, for it's conveniences of having everything right there, from an onsite ABC Store to Louis Vuitton. The kiddie pool is also a family favorite, as well as the private pool at the Ali'i Tower where we usually stay. One thing that stuck out like a sore thumb on this last trip was the decreased friendliness and service from hotel staff, primarily at the restaurants. I don't mind paying for good food, but found the fare at most of the Hilton-owned restaurants (except for Benihana, the noodle shop, etc) to be quite expensive and poor in quality & taste. We hope that Hilton will make changes where necessary to improve on its food service and quality.

| Great hotel, it has everything you need. The only thing I don't like is the beach because it doesn't even has waves. It's like a big swimming pool and you are in Hawaii, famous because of that! Other than that, it's fantastic, it has everything you need. If you rather prefer to be just on Waikiki beach, choose another one because this one is some blocks away. Overall, I highly recommend it.

| We spent 10 days at the HHV. We were in the Tapa Tower and found the room comfortable and decorated nicely. I had heard that this Tower was not very nice but I found it to be wonderful. IT is a 3 minute walk to the beach. The bedding provided the best sleep possible. I plan to order the pillows for my home! As my title states-the hotel grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the pools! You will love them. People do come out quite early to set up, but we never had to wait more than a few minutes to secure a couple of lounge chairs. THere is so much to see and do on Oahu! THe ABC store on property is perfect to pick up snacks, soft drinks and other goodies to keep in your room. (As with any resort hotel, room service, pool side bars, and the restaurants are expensive; but it is your vacation so enjoy or stock the refrigerator in your room!) I would definitely stay at the HHV again. THe beach is one of the best in Wakiki!

| We had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in so they upgraded us to an ocean view room in their most exclusive tower without us asking. Everything was first class from the room and facilities to the friendly staff. Great location as the hotel is right on the beach and is separated from the main strip in Waikiki so it's not as crowded. Within walking distance to the Ala Moana shopping center and Waikiki.

| While the Hilton is a large, modern hotel by Waikiki standards with comfortable and well-appointed rooms, it's a fairly unsatisfying place to stay because of all the ways they try to nickel and dime their guests. Parking costs $19 per day for valet; a few dollars less for self-park. In-room Internet access is $12 per day, and I hear the fitness center costs money to use as well. What really shocked me, though, is that while you're welcome to sit on the hotel beach, if you want a chaise lounge, you have to RENT one for about $20 per day. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but when I think of luxury resorts, I think of them as being all-inclusive, and not places where I have to think about whether I want to sit on a beach towel or pay for a chaise lounge when I go to the beach.
