| My boyfriend and I were quite impressed with this place. We only stayed for two nights, and I think this hotel is perfect for that length of stay. Close to the beach, close to great restaurants and shops and nightlife of Waikiki. We reserved a Studio Deluxe room for a fantastic price and were given a spacious room on the 2nd floor overlooking the very pretty pool. Room was newly painted and nicely decorated. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The only thing was that the kitchen was not as clean as I'd want it to be in order to use it. (It wasn't filthy or bug-ridden or anything like that, it just was not *sparkling* clean.) However, since we only stayed for 2 nights, we didn't use any of the kitchen facilities at all, so that wasn't an issue for us. Overall, we were very happy with the whole experience.

| we stayed here for just one night, to move on to kona the next day. the room was big, the location was good, people were nice... would definitely stay there again, and recommend it. bit old, and run down, but definitely worth the money.

| Not exactly the most glamorous hotel, but the price was right. We got what we needed, although the room was a little below par. We didn't mind, though, because we were able to save our money for other fun things in Hawaii. The worker's were very nice; the room was just a little run down.

| The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a little on the shabby side and there were little insects all over the place. The coffee was not included in the price and the cost of making telephone calls was phohibitive. I recommend you bring your cell phone. No restaurant.

| If you are short on cash but you still want a nice place to rest your head this hotel is perfect. The kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. For big-boned people who may be a bit claustrophobic prepare yourselves for the narrow hallways. It's a nice place to stay. I would rest my head there again.

| The room facility was quite old, but clean. It did include the hair dryer, coffee maker, microwave & refridgerator in the room. However, the first coffee was free, and then $1 for each refill. The bed was quite unconfortable compared to other 3-star hotels that I stayed before. The bathroom was clean, but everything was turned to yellow already. It looked kind of gross to stay inside.

| Bamboo had a fabulous pool area and so was the location. Our refrig quit and we had some cleanliness issues in our room, but we were very happy with the service and attention to the problems.

| We stayed in a spacious deluxe studio room that included a kitchenette, which was very convenient. The fridge, pots and pans and extra sink contributed to a pleasurable travel experience (ie., we were able to try different foods without having to worry about wasting). The only minor detail that can use some maintenance was the bathroom. There was some rust and cracking around the foot of the bathtub. The hotel is only two short blocks away from the beach and right across the street is a bus stop.

| I requested a non-smoking room with a view of the ocean. I ended up with a smelly smoking room with a view of a brick wall.
