Ohana East worked great for our family while we were on vacation. The hotel is close to the beach, grocery store, restaurants, bus stops and shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

We stayed in this hotel for ten days and six persons. We looking for the hotel comfortable and central, and it met all of those criteria. It has easy access to shops, beach and transport. The room was quite nice and very clean. The staff was very helpful in recommending and organizing a day trip for us. My kids were going to all the stores around the hotel almost every night with out adults vision. Overall, the hotel was nice and the price was reasonable so we would consider staying here again

This was a great location. The hotel was close to beach and had everything you need in walking distance. The beds were a little hard and the elevator took awhile to get to and from the 12 floor which we were staying on but we would stay there again.

Good place to stay, the beach hotels are to crowded. I was pleased with my choice. It is a short walk to the beach. Activities can be made and bus pickup at hotel, or at neighbor hotels. They have a food pantry nearby, fast food resturants, laundry facilities, near the market place with many shoping places all in walking distance.

We were shown a queen suite, but asked for a king, they let us have one on the top floor. We had no complaints what so ever. Our experience was great. We would stay there again. For the price, I don't know if you could compare. Real close to the beach and the International Market Place.

This hotel was pretty much what we expected for the price we paid. One thing that was annoying was the difficulty of getting into the hotel if you were handicapped. They only had three handicap parking places that we saw and they were always full. They should at least offer discount parking at the parking garage also. One other issue was the thin walls that allowed for some undesirable, unintentional eaves dropping of the neighbors discussions. The staff was very friendly though.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon and we must say, "We loved it!" The staff was amazing. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine with a letter congratulating us. Location of the hotel was perfect. Right in the middle of everything. We were on the 12 floor and we didnt have any noise issues with traffic or neighbors. The rooms where very clean with updated decor. Only down fall was the elevator. It was very slow....... However we would stay there again. Aloha!

The hotel was great. We were on the 11th floor, we had two rooms next to each other. View of the city. The rooms were average size, showers only in both rooms but that was fine, we didn't have time for baths. The shower was small but made for an average size person. Very close to the beach, shopping, marketplace etc. We really enjoyed the hotel and I would stay there again.

Very convenient location. Other reviews here are accurate in that it can be noisy; however, you can't blame noisy buses and the like on the hotel. Bring ear plugs if it bothers you. We did have one night where some ignoramuses came strolling in at 4:30am in the morning talking loud. The newspaper delivery will also wake you up as it hits the door. But these are small gripes considering this hotel is 1 block from the beach and is convenient to popular restaurants.

A standard hotel room, very well done. Newly renovated, and it shows. Quiet, yet only 2 blocks from the beach. No bathtub, but we never use tubs anyway. The mini-fridge was a thoughtful touch.

Wow...this hotel has upgraded their rooms and decor since our last stay. This hotel is just right for us...a very short walk to the beach, around the corner from the International Market Place, bus stop across the street, full grocery store to the left, and inexpensive dining just outside the door. The Keo's restaurant connected to the hotel has a great breakfast special. The rooms are pleasantly decorated, clean and most importantly, the price was extremely affordable.

The rooms are pretty standard, but clean, and have small balconies good enough for sitting. Right across the street from the bus stop, and a few minute walk to the beach. There's also a coin laundry on premises. The pool is nice, but the sun only hits from late morning to early afternoon. The pool bar does not serve food, and is only open from noon-5. You will not get resort-quality amenities, but it's a great value for a nice hotel in a central Waikiki location.

This hotel was prefect for what we needed! The room looked just the the pictures on Expedia's website. The rooms were clean and spacious with a great view of the city and partial ocean view. Maid service was prompt! Because the hotel was full we were not able to keep our room past checkout time on our last day but they did provide us with a complimentary hospitality room. It was perfect. We are looking forward to returning next year! Great hotel for the price we paid!!

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a great location 1 block to Waikiki beach and 1 block to the International Market. We had a room on a side road, and it was not noisy. The pool is average, though shaded due to location next to building. Service was great. Rooms were very clean, and I usually analyze the cleanliness. Close proximity to many places to shop and get food in various price ranges.
