| This hotel is in a very convenient location - especially if you're getting to or out of Barcelona by Sants train station.

| the hotel was ok. thye try to keep their guest happy, the cleaning of the rooms was fine too, they could do a better job on the bathrooms, though. What they should really improve is their restaurant service, they charge too much for literally BAD food. Also they should be really careful to have people that speak good english, because you'd think they're understanding you and the'll give you the total wrong information about things. They need to be careful with that, we had more than one misunderstanding because of that.

| I really enjoyed my stay at the Expo Hotel. The staff was friendly, especially at the Piano Bar. Most of the staff was able to communicate in English, which was helpful for me as I am a beginner with my Spanish/Catalan. Don't let the exterior fool you as I thought the interior of the Hotel was very nicely designed and the decor made me feel that I paid a bargain for my stay. The Hotel is within walking distance of the train station, although I didn't use this form of transportation. However, I did have a few problems during my stay. 1. I placed a wake up call and 10 minutes after they were supposed to wake me up, I called down to the front desk to find out why I didn't receive it. This only happened once and the rest of the time, the wake up calls came at the appropriate time. 2. The cleaning person would always leave the door to the balcony open after cleaning, even though I kept it locked as a safety/theft precaution. 3. When I placed the "Do not Disturb" sign on my door after a spending spree to keep the cleaning person out of the room and make sure the balcony door remained locked, I came back to my room to find that she was inside cleaning anyway. Overall, I felt that the Expo Hotel was well worth the money I paid for my stay.
