This hotel is in a good location - close to Boston's waterfront, financial district and north end. Everything was fine but the air conditioning - could not get the room cool enough. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I would try it again.

What a great time we had in Boston! The sights were amazing, the people nice, and the weather gorgeous. Coming back to the hotel each night was something we looked forward to, and it paid off staying at the Wyndham. The rooms were a decent size and well equipped with all the latest technology gadgets if one so desires. We used room service several times, which afforded us the opportunity to meet the courteous staff members, and to taste the delicious food they provided. The food always arrived promptly. The room was clean, and the service we received to maintain the cleanliness of the room during our stay was impeccable. The concierge and desk clerks were also very kind and courteous, always more than willing to guide us in the right direction when seeing the sights. Due to our trip being short in nature, we did not get the opportunity to take advantage of the fitness center, however, when we get out to Boston agian, we will be staying at the Wyndham, for a longer period of time to enjoy all they, and Boston have to offer.

Having stayed at other hotels in Boston and being very disappointed with the value received for high room rates, I was very pleased when I tried the Wyndham Boston hotel. The rates were more reasonable than any other hotel, and the service was excellent. Have already returned and would recommend it to anyone.

It seems this hotel is getting worse. The last two times I stayed there, I had trouble with my bill. I have not heard from them regarding my most recent trip. They charged me for phone calls that I did not make and could not get a response from the front desk because the person was on the phone.

The Wyndham has a good location for anyone with business in the financial district (with proximity to Faneuil Hall and the shopping at Downtown Crossing a plus.) The room service food, some of which comes from the excellent Calterra restaurant, is also a plus. I found it somewhat noisy, since the doors to the corridors are not well insulated. Not luxurious, but perfectly OK...

The Wyndham Boston was a very nice hotel. Because of the high rates of hotels during the weekend of our trip this was basically our only choice. Our room was very spacious esp for a city. We also had a nice view of the harbor. The only problem we had was that the non-smoking king room we requested was not available. I would probably not stay there again only b/c I prefer to stay in Back Bay but if you want to go to Quincy market or the aquarium (which is not that great) this is the perfect location.

Upon arrival I went to the Check-in desk (evening) and after giving my name, the clerk adamantly told me that I had no reservation there. He immediately changed his tone when I gave him my Expedia confirmation printout. He assigned a room to me and took my credit card info "in case the confirmation didn't work out" and assured me that he would contact me after hearing back from Expedia. He never called me back. Front desk needs customer service training. The room was very clean but too small for the 2 full size beds. The hotel is convenient to the area and the rate was good.

It is very accessible from the Interstate Highways, yet just slightly off the beaten path in a quiet section of downtown Boston; with a first rate security system to make us feel safe and secure.

The hotel service was terrible! and I mean terrible. We had to wait for a cab while the doorman spent the time chatting with his friends. We gave up. Walked down the block and got our own cab. We were leaving early in the morning and requested assistance with our bags-again we gave up and carried our bags down to the outside-we were seen by several hotel people and never given assistance.

I just enjoyed a 3-night stay which happened to span Valentine's Day. When I first checked in, the clerk indicated that the suite I had already paid for on Expedia wasn't available, but a manager quickly stepped in to fix things. From that point on, everything was wonderful. The room was clean & spacious. The staff was very friendly & helpful, even with my occasionally crabby 16-month-old. I never felt rushed or ignored despite their being fully booked. Access to the T & all the touristy stuff was great. We'll be back!

I have had the opportunity to stay at the W Boston on a couple of occasions. I come from Puerto Rico to Boston for federal appeals oral arguments so it is a matter of going in and coming out... But, the WB is located in between the Federal Court and the center of Boston which makes it a nice "in between" location from which walking (which I enjoy) is feasible. Good service (practical prices for said services), and the location makes this hotel, imho, a nice place to stay.

This location was in a perfect location for everything we wanted to do...Whether it is for the nightlife, exploring the downtown, or business...this is the spot! It is a couple blocks from the subway which can get you anywhere. And it has a lot of little restaurants/bars to choose from within the block! The actual room was very comfortable and the bathroom was more than expected. It was marble and had a curving curtain rod that made the shower a lot bigger! Loved everything about it for the lowest cost a downtown hotel offered us!

I found the staff to be enormously kind and helpful.....from the concierge to the room service people to the restaurant staff. My only discomfort was with the actual room appointments. The lamps made zapping sounds when lit, the bedspreads had "pulls" in the fabric and the bedskirts (which were made of some weird fake satin) were wrinkled and crooked. Our first room had a view of the construction sight across the street and our second faced a bulding that was so close we felt as though we were in a tunnel. Oh, and the robe on the bathroom door had lipstick stains on it.This all sounds bad and negative..sorry.Again, the service was tremendous, the room was comfortable, the sheets were great, it was just a little timeworn.

First, I checked into my room only to find it hadn't been cleaned yet. I had to leave for an hour to let the maids clean it, and when I returned it still had a weird odor that never went away during my three day stay.On top of that, the hotel was very noisy. For some reason the room doors swing shut violently and I was repeatedly woken up by other guests entering and exiting their rooms (I am not a light sleeper). I don't know why they can't put some kind of mechanism on the doors to make them close more gently--seems pretty budget to me. The walls also seem to be thin as I could hear conversations and other people watching TV in the room next door. And finally, the concierge service was less than helpful. Instead of calling a cab for me when it was snowing, they had me wait outside while a guy blew a whistle to call one from nearby. The result--I stood out in the snow for about 10 minutes waiting. When I needed other concierge services, I consistently had a long wait.Overall, this hotel *looks* nice and is in a good location, but you can certainly get better service and a better room at any number of hotels in the same area. I would not stay here again and would suggest you look elsewhere.
