| Sad to say but even for the money was not happy, First did not get the room reserved. Had one on a smoking floor or two double beds on non-smoking floor.Took the non-smoking floor don't smoke. The afternoon desk preson was not very helpful. The morning person was great.I used to live in Hawaii and are from there and was dis pleased to see someone like that at the desk. There was no help with the bags or just the front door. The room was on the small side but you just sleep there. The ants were a little more annoying. Wouldn't tell someone to stay here if you are staying for a week, but for one nite noproblem.

| The hotel is located very close to Waikiki beach. The rates charged are a good value considering how close it is to everything. Easy walking distance to most attractions.

| Disappointed with staff service, had to ask repeatedly for items and then ill_fitting items given. Wrong information given re shuttle service so had to leave at 6:15 for 10:30pm flight. Good for easy access to beah and beaut view as we were on 11th floor. Being able to use Outrigger facilities was a real bonus and easy access to shopping etc.

| I was in between houses, sold one and was waiting to move into the new one, and needed a place to stay for 2 weeks. After spending a few days at a really shabby place on Kuhio Avenue I moved to this location. My room was small, but very clean and comfortable. The location is great and you can use the pool and facilities across the street at the Outrigger Reef. Everything in Waikiki is pretty much in easy walking distance. Easy parking available (surcharge).

| The hotel was great-the rooms are a little on the small side, but it was no big deal. The staff was so nice and the location was absolutely perfect. We will definitely stay there again!!!

| The rooms were very very small, and when we first arrived the gave us a room different than what I requested. He then gave us a another room that would do until they could get us the room that we requested. That took 2 more nights to get. When I first spoke with him about the wrong room and wanted the room I payed for he stated that it is only a request and it does not mean that you will get it. He eventually got us the right room. Still small.

| The Ohana Royal Islander was a great hotel for the price paid. It wasn't a 5 star but was a quick hop to the beach and in a great area for shopping and attractions. The room itself had a nice city view and was small but many hotels in the area have smaller rooms. I would definately go back.

| The Ohana Royal Islander has very basic accomodations but is located in a great spot along Waikiki in Honolulu. This hotel is best suited for travelers who need a safe, clean place to sleep and shower and who plan to spend most of their time exploring everything outside of Waikiki. Each of my days consisted of an early morning dip in the Pacific Ocean (1 block from the hotel) and followed by a cup of 100% Kona at a local organic cafe. From the hotel, I was quickly on a main street or the highway en route to a beach on the North or Leeward Shores.

| Very small but clean room. Had to take a smoking room to get double bed but room did not smell of smoke. Plenty of clean towels. Convenient location between beach and shopping. Please visit the fruit juice shop down around the corner. Fresh cut up fruit daily. I would stay there again.

| The Ohana Royal was fantastic. The location was absolutley wonderful - honestly we couldn't have been happier. When we return we will absolutley plan to stay at the Ohana Royal. We booked out room over the internet and couldn't have been happier especially due to the proximity to the beach. We had heard the rooms were small but found ours to be fine. Besides we were rarely in our room and even when we were, we spent most of our time on the balcony taking in the beauty of the surroundings. Small room or large...who comes to Hawaii to spend time in a hotel room anyway??Across the street from the ocean and surrounded on two sides by beautiful parks - we were pleased with every aspect and will definately be back to stay at the Ohana Royal again and again!!
