| This hotel was a very unique place to stay. I recommend staying in the towers. They are newer and they have a great bath tub and shower in them. The buffet was ok but not for the price. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

| A very nice hotel. This is the second time we have stayed at the Luxor. I was suprised that during our six night stay we were only provided washcloths two of the days. I talked to housekeeping and they said there was a problem with their supplier. We also requested a fridge, they provided one (it didn't work). Doesn't sound like a 5 star hotel to me. Other than that, it was great.

| We were just discouraged on how so/so this hotel was. Thinking we had booked an "upper scale"~4 star hotel fell very short of that, other than the high prices for food. The buffet had a large selection of food,, but all too banquet tasting, again so upsetting. THe price for a simple breakfast (bagle, oatmeal and 2 coffee's) well over 20 bucks. I dont mind paying more,,but in return,,I expect more! Our room in the tower was just blah, and I swear the maid turned off our AC every day...hmm?? Las Vegas was just wonderful,,the people, the energy and excitment, we'll surly go again....as for the Luxor,,,all bets are off,,we lost. (trust it wont happen twice.)

| The Luxor is a dump DO Not waste your money. When we arrived our room was very hot and the AC would not work. I called the front desk they said that they would try and get a new room and would give me a call back in 30 min. I guess they wanted us to sit in the 90+ degree room until they could get a maintenance man. Needless to say I went to the front deck and spoke with the hotel manager he acted like it was a big inconvenience to speak to me but finally found another room. We go to the other room the carpet was also stained. The wall paper in the bathroom was torn from water damage and mold and base tiles where missing. The mattress was so bad that it slanted to one side with springs poking up on the edge also there where water stains on the window drapes. I again called the manager he said that there where no other rooms available. He never apologized or offered any restitution. For the cost of these rooms they should be a lot nicer and the service should be impeccable. Save your Money and stay elsewhere!!

| Despite our request for a non-smoking room with King Size Bed, they gave us a smoking room with two queen size beds. As soon as we entered the room, it gave us a very poor impression. I have to call them right away and they mentioned they can change the room next day. Reception very unwelcoming and overcrowded.

| This hotel was just Okay, nothing special. We had a standard Tower Room. I liked it- beautiful glass showers and seperate tub in the bathrooms. Pool was boring, only one of the four was ever open. Casino was good to me though. Never tried their restaurants (too expensive). They did have a Mcdonalds upstairs which is where we had breakfast everyday.

| Being on the strip, the hotel provides the guest with the best Las Vegas can offer. Its facilities both indoors and outdoors have a very high standard and its very pleasant. Its not easy at all to get bored in such a hotel because it provides a variety of activities for all tastes, ages and economic levels. The only thing that disturbed me is the level of room cleanliness which should be much higher. Overall its very good

| We were very happy with our stay at the Luxor. Everything was great. There was no need to leave the hotel during our entire stay. I recommend the Pharoah's Buffet. The food at the Cafe was also very good. We spent many hours lounging by the pool under shady canopies - even lunching at poolside. We will go back!

| We had a room in the pryamid part of the hotel. There was mold on the lower part of the wall by the dresser and one of the outlet covers was broken. There is no in room safe or refridgerator. The rooms are very quiet. You can't hear anything once your door is shut. Other than the few small details, it's a decent hotel. There was a lot to do and it's connected to a couple other hotels which is nice. It's somewhat of a walk from other things on the strip so bring comfortable shoes! We probably walked about three miles each day. The pool area is nice but the cost of drinks - crazy!

| Hotel was great, good location. nearly first dropoff/last pickup for shuttle from airport, so saved heaps of time. Easy walking to everything. Room was really spacious, so was the bathroom. When our hairdryer didn't work, housekeeping brought another within 10 minutes. The buffet was excellent, especially the dessert section. Use the Oasis Spa - great day rate and all the spa, sauna and relaxing you could get. Pools outside were lovely too. Great stay, loved it.

| Comfortable, spacious, and plush (East Tower). Loved it. Quiet room, loud casino, plenty of restaurants and glitter. Great pool area. Good shows (buy half-price tickets in strip). Only (minor) grumble is that the free monorail to take you to main corner (1000 ft), goes past the door on return forcing you to take 2 monorail trips to get back. Also, there is no formal assistance for tourists who do not know what else is in town (they would prefer you didn't leave their palatial casino). Though most staff were personally helpful. Have fun. Enjoy.

In hotel rip offs (as far as I remember): - 2 minutes internet use at payphone cost me $5 - use of the hotel's gym for one day was $20!!! - 2 coffees and some fruit cost nearly $20 - Manicure was around $45 On the plus side - parking was free but I didn't have a car.

| My family and I traveled to Vegas for our daughters wedding. She and her future husband arrived about 2-3 hours before I did. When they were trying to check-in they were told that they had to wait for us to arrive although I had paid for their room in advance. When they asked about leaving their luggage so they could get their marriage license, they were told they could not leave their luggage. A hotel this size should have the ability to store luggage. The rooms were nice but very over priced. For the price of a three night stay, I could have taken my family to Disney World for a week! There was even a charge to print off boarding passes, use of wireless internet. The only staff that tried to accomodate us during our stay was the housekeeping staff. The food was over priced and over rated. There was nothing for children to do in the hotel except the game room and you could easily spend as much there as in the casino.

| I wouldn't recommend the Luxor as a hotel. The spa suite I booked was dingy, with water stains on the carpets, peeling wallpaper and burn marks on the spa tub. The inclinators weren't working properly and there were false fire alarms during my stay. Ten years ago the Luxor might have deserved 4 stars, but not any more.

| In general the hotel was clean and well kept. The room temperature was warm, and never cooled down to a comfortable temp. for sleeping. Bedding needed to be updated. Loud people in hallways, other than that quiet room in pyramid. Requested a king bed in pyramid, didn't get it. Requested upgrade, didn't get it. Had some nice meals in the Cafe but didn't care for the breakfast buffet. The valet parking staff was friendly and helpful with directions. We saw Carrot Top, very funny. Much younger crowd than I expected, more than my share of drunk people, I would think that security should be more visable to assist with this. Not lucky in the casino, did much better at some of the others.

| My husband and I just got home from our Las Vegas trip. All in all the Luxor was a nice place to stay. My only complaint would be the paper thin walls, which didn't allow for any sleep. We were even located in the tower, not the pyramid, which was supposed to be quieter, but we could hear our neighbors as if they were in the same room as us. We had to call security twice in one night to get help with the noise siutation.

| Upon arrival I was not at all impressed with the hotel: there were no porters to help with luggage and the check-in lines were very long. Check-in staff was almost curt in their replies to questions. I saw numerous staff, particularly in management type positions, who appeared to be more interested in chatting with each other than helping patrons. Once we arrived in our room the sink was still dirty and we found a hair in one of the beds. However, in comparison to other hotels in the area that we visited during our stay it was much quieter, cleaner and less smoky than other hotels on the strip. The businesses associated with the Luxor were fantastic - the spa staff were particularly accomodating and friendly.

| I have stayed in many, many hotels in Las Vegas over the past 40 years. Friday night is when most people register into the hotel. It would help if more than 1/3 of the registration desks were open at 11:00PM. I waited in line about 2 hours to register and I was not real happy. I was tired and just wanted to get to my room. Unless more people are hired and faster check-in is accomplished, I would not recommend this hotel.

| We traveled to Las Vegas during the Christmas Holiday's, the hotel was nicely decorated for Christmas. We stayed at the Luxor in the West Tower, and was very pleased with our decision. The West Tower was quite and relaxing. Our room was large and the deco was great, bathroom was very large with both separate tub and shower. The Pyramid Cafe had a nice selection of food on their menu and the food was great, also the buffet at Pharaoh's Feast was delicious and had a variety of foods to choose from, on Christmas day there was a special holiday menu at both restaurants to choose from, the downside to the buffet was that we were ready for a nice long nap from eating too much! Overall stay was great, the staff was helpful and friendly. When we travel to Vegas again, we will again stay at the Luxor. One word of advice, upon check in you are supplied with a map of the hotel, and just remember to take this with you for the first couple of days and you will not have any problem finding your way around. Great hotel!

We stayed in a deluxe tower room which had a soak tub and separate walk-in shower. The view was wonderful, the ligthing was dim, however, this was part of the theme. We would most certainly stay there again. We heard that the pyramid rooms were not as nice and we made a good selection. Ride the inclinator (elevator) to the top of the pyramid for the experience.

I called the front desk and was nearly immediatly moved w/a bellhop to a tower king room which had a nice view of town.
