The Plaza Real is a very pleasant and attractive hotel right off the Plaza in Santa Fe -- it couldn't be more convenient. There's gracious Southwestern decor everywhere you look, and the rooms are charming and unusual. A great blend of comfort and convenience without the high price of some of the marquee hotel/spas just blocks away.

the room was very comfortable, esp the beds, the window was broken by the street, so let in a little noise, but with the AC on it didn't matter much. Right off the plaza which was SO convenient, we had a great time!

The Hotel Plaza Real was once again a wonderful place to stay. The fact that the plaza is so close is the reason that we wanted to stay there. I have stayed there previously, but was with 2 friends who had never even been to Santa Fe. The room was so nice, the bed super comfortable - even the fold-out couch and roll-away were comfortable. The people at the front desk - including the general manager were so friendly and helpful. The Hotel Plaza Real is definitely at the top of my list of places to stay in Santa Fe.

We are very pleased with this hotel. When we came and learned that they have a room for us near the elevator and asked for another more quiet, they gave us two-room suite for the same price. The room has a fireplace (although we did not lit it up). The hotel stuff was extremely polite and helpful. The hotel has a bar with live music and singing and is just a short walk from the Santa Fe central square.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was small and intimate, located just a half block off the plaza, parking was easy, the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Our room was an upstairs loft with a small patio -- not real fancy and slick, but very comfortable with a nice southwest feel. I wish I were there now!

Unique rooms very much in a B&B style. So very close to the plaza. Staff knew everything about everything in town and were 5 Star helpful to all quest. Wonderful small cozy bar and speciality coffee house right off hotel lobby. Fire in the lobby fireplace nightly. Staff cleaning all the time! Beds were wonderful. Only note is that the hotel needs to do a little update on the windows so they open for ventilation and a breeze.

We love the staff at this hotel! They were so friendly and accomodating. The hotel itself is awesome! It has its own parking garage, and a bar...only open at night, though! The bartender was a gem! We were very pleased with our room...we splurged on the deluxe suite. The next best thing is the location...it is across the street from The Bull Ring (the finest steak house ever!) and just around the corner from the Palace of Governors. We cannot express how pleased we were with this hotel, and we would gladly go back anytime!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel; great location and very nice junior suites (nice bedding and fireplace), albeit the bathrooms are very small and cramped for a family. The only drawback is that the hotel does not have any restaurant or cafe (at least not operating when we were there). The location was incredible, just steps away from the central plaza, and the setting overall very good. If you are ok with finding your own dining, and don't need a "resort" type hotel, this is a great choice for the price!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Sante Fe's Hotel Plaza Real. The location was amazing; just a short walk to all the museums, galleries, restaurants, and shops you could ever hope for. I was very satisfied with the cost of the room, considering being only a block from the plaza, having a fireplace in the room, and the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. We only stayed at the hotel 2 nights, at the start of a week-long trip, and we didn't want to leave so soon! I was very happy with the management and staff, because we accidentally left a cell-phone charger in the room, and called the hotel when we realized it -- 2 days later. They found the charger, and had it waiting for us at the front desk when we came back through town at the end of the week. This is probably the most comfortable hotel, with the best service, that I have ever experienced. Definitely recommended.

Seriouisly, we were on the third floor and their was a staircase to something on the second floor - in our room! Probably for a family staying together in two rooms. However it made our room really small and cramped. Otherwise the hotel was interesting and a good location. Great help at the front desk for things to do and see.

My wife and I live in Albuquerque, which is only 60 miles away, so we were only looking for a place to stay one night after the opera. The hotel itself needs some maintenance, e.g. our bathroom tile was stained and cracked. The underground parking lot was convenient, but unless you plan to drive an SUV watch out not to bottom out coming and going. Altogether this is a fairly good deal as Santa Fe goes and the location just off the Plaza is excellent.

Bedding is excellent. Very cozy and cute. It's actually a lot better than many of the rooms that offered at some of the resorts (i.e. la posada). Will definitely come back. My money was well spent.

To stay on the Plaza and experience Santa Fe's unique character,Hotel Plaza Real is a good value comparatively. The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly. It seemed that every other time I went through the lobby, a guest was asking if their room was available an additional night because they were having such a wonderful time.

To fully immerse yourself in the charm of Santa Fe, stay within a block or two of the plaza. The Plaza Real is 1/2 block off the plaza and is a small spanish styled hotel with comfortable rooms and suites. Get a suite with a fireplace if it's cold outside. They have recently purchased new beds and you won't find a more comfortable bed in any hotel.

Though not new by any means, the Hotel Plaza Real was just right for us. The staff was friendly--the person who delivered our firewood even offered to light the fire for us. The location--right on the Plaza--could not have been better.
