I may consider staying there again but not soon, When we first got arrive to check-in. The woman behind the front desk seemed more bored and ready to go home than she did to help us. Also in our room the A/C system was separated from the wall so it was letting cold outside air into the room. (note we were there in December)I guess you get what you pay for.....

Me and my girlfriend stayed here last week, and we had a good time. The hotel was small, but clean and comfortable. For the time you actually spend in the room the price was right. You are in good proximity to all that the strip has to offer. Not the most impressive hotel that we saw, but no complaints about the cleaness of the room.

The hotel was not that fancy & was definitely not as big as everything else on the strip but the location was the best we could have found. The price was approximately half the price of the next cheapest location. The hotel was not fancy or large but it was very busy & had some great perks. We had a fantastic view of the strip from our room & they had some great groups in the lounge that were free. Overall, if you are looking for an economical hotel with great location on the strip, I would highly recommend the Boardwalk

Problems with hotel management. I was promised the availability of a late check-out when i arrived, but was denied the late check out (without paying 50% of the cost of an additional night's stay) on the day of the request. There are NO ammenities for children/teens at this hotel, despite hotel marketing claims.Room conditions were OK, but cramped. The bathroom was so small you could barely open the door to enter. In-room TV limited to 4 local channels & CNN. Hallway ice machines and vending machines were poorly located so that guests had to travel up/down stairs for accommodations.

This is an aging hotel and it shows, especially in the bathrooms (toilet didn't flush well, shower pretty cramped). I got stuck with a smoking room the first night, but they switched me to a non-smoking room the following day. Then, the next day, all the air conditioners on my floor quit and they moved me to the newer section of the hotel. The service was nice, but the hotel is pretty old and worn out.

The Boardwalk had numerous features and amenities which were more accessible than other casinos. The food was great, the Purple Reign show was fun, the internet cafe came in handy and the people were nice. I did notice that the slot and video machines were not as clean as they were in the other casinos - send someone around with some Windex please! And service was pretty slow for both change in the casino or food in the restaurants. All in all, it is affordable and in the center of the strip, great for a first cheap trip to Vegas!

This is a very nice but smaller hotel located right in the middle of the Vegas strip with easy access to everything. MGM and NYNY right down the street very close. The Boardwalk is not very tall or fancy with a showy theme but was extremely clean, efficient, friendly and has the only 24hr buffet with great food. They also offerred free cocktails while you are in the casino with free nightly live shows that were great.

Our first trip to Las Vegas. Was worried about picking this hotel. I liked it alot and will absolutely go back. All staff was friendly and helpful. It all depends on what you are looking for in a hotel. If you want a big, luxourous hotel and casino, this one is not for you. If you want smaller, neat, comfortable hotel and casino, in an excellent location, choose this one. We had a beautiful view from a tower room. Spacious comfortable room. 19 inch tv was just fine. Bathroom was clean and worked fine. Casino was small but had all the favorite games. Comfortable and was not lacking anything. The only bad experience I had was the all night buffet. Food was just not good. However, I recommend the $11.99 prime rib special in the cafe boardwalk. Excellent meal, excellent service.

The hotel is a good place to stay for those who cannot spend the big bucks to stay elsewhere on the strip. Ask to stay in the new portion of the hotel. The old portion (over 30 years old) is where we spent our first of three nights. The hallway and our room smelled bad. So, we spent the extra $10 a night to get upgraded. It was well worth the money.Again, you get what you pay for. The service at the hotel is okay. There are several workers that have thick foreign accents that are difficult to understand. That got a little annoying. The valet / bell desk is slightly understaffed, but they are very helpful and hard working. The casino is the home of the $3 tables, so it's a good place to gamble with less money. We had one dealer that was very rude, grumpy, and sarcastic. I would have reported him if he wouldn't have dealt us such good cards. We won quite a bit of money with him there! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs an inexpensive place to stay on the strip. But, you better hurry. They told us that the place is going to get torn down 18 months from our stay (Nov. 2004).

We stayed for a full 7 days and nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Surf Buffet was great for breakfast and dinner. The Cafe Boardwalk was SUPERB! All of the workers were very helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The bands that were at the hotel nightly, The Spectrum was a Motown era band and were absolutely terrific! and the Prince revue band was also very good. The Players club bonus was definitely a plus, we got three meals each and several visits to the Deli for snack and drinks for free. We had enough points left over to purchase some souvenirs. The hotel location was great, within walking distance of several other hotels, sites and stores. There is also a CVS Pharmacy right next door which came in very handy! The security was also very strong and we felt completely safe the whole week.

We enjoyed our stay at the Boardwalk. The price was right for us. People without a lot of money to spend on traveling. Hotels in Vegas are not the kind that you spend all day in, and the Boardwalk was a good place to come back to at the end of an exciting day. The location of this hotel was perfect for us, it is located next to the Monte Carlo, between the Belaigo and New York New York. If you are looking for an affordable room in a great location this is the place for you. But if you want to swim a lot beware, the pool is in the shade most of the day.

It was kinda cheesey. The rooms smelled funny. It wasn't the cleanest either. It was very noisy there too. It was borderline acceptable. Thought about trying to stay somewhere else but it wasn't worth the hassle. It wasn't awful, but I don't think I'd stay there again. It's location was good and if you just want a cheap place to crash it's okay.

I thought that this hotel was wonderful. It was the first time that my new husband (we got married out there) and I did any kind of traveling ever in our lives. The Boardwald was a really comfortable hotel because of it's smaller size and great location. I recomend to everyone to try the 1/2 pound hotdogs...they are great and very affordable. Which was another great thing about the hotel...very inexpensive it was nice to know that we went to Vegas, saw a couple of shows, did some gambling, ate and drank, and did not blow our lives savings. I would strongly recomend this hotel to people that want the excitement of Vegas but would also like to sit back and relax.

The Boardwalk Hotel Casino's location is on the southern third of the Vegas strip, close enough to walk to and from most of the major Casino attractions. The room was clean and spacious and provide a home like atmostphere for my stay. Unfortunately my room faced to the north which did not allow a clear view of the strip. The room although not sound proof did offer a good level of privacy. The onsite buffet and restaurant were average priced and well cooked. The casino also offers low cost slots and low ante card and gaming tables.
