Once there, we were most impressed with this hotel even though it was "sold out". Literally across the street from the Opera House, and just adjacent to Downtown Crossing shopping. I loved the fact that the windows actually opened, despite the street noise. Two drinks in the lounge were close to $20 with tip, about average for Boston. Service was excellent except in the lounge...

I am really finicky when it comes to hotels. I don't do comforters and the Hyatt has wonderful duvets and tons of pillows. The view from our room was out of this world. You can walk almost anywhere in the city from this central downtown crossing location.

The Hotel is well situated between the old and the newer trendy Boston which will give you a good feel for the city..interesting mix almost from a Dickens novel with the mix of upper class and homeless without any rancor. Hotel is excellent and well done though I found the bed a bit too plush for my comfort the rooms are big and well tended to. Food is also very good. Perfect location for a stay in downtown Boston. I would most definitely use this hotel again.

My husband and I have stayed in hotels all over Boston and without a doubt, this is the best value and most consistently pleasant hotel we have found. This was our 2nd trip to the Hyatt Boston and we couldn't have been happier! The hotel is located just steps from restaurants, shopping, Chinatown, the theater district and public transportation, yet it's quiet, extremely clean, and the staff is friendly and prompt. We were especially impressed with the newly-renovated marble bathroom (with soap and shampoo dispenser in the shower - love that!) and the cozy mattress toppers and plush decor. We're looking forward to our next stay at the Hyatt!

This hotel treats you well! The concierge was most helpful. The hotel is one block from the Opera House, DownTown Crossing, T-Stations, movie theater, ect.. The staff was excellent. The bed was heavenly! Our only complaint.. the elevator brought us all the way to the top, very quickly once, the stopped and we ahd to get off and take another elevator to our floor.

Terrific location. Macy's and Filenes right around the corner. Walk to Chinatown. Ride the T. Minutes from the theater district. Best of all locations in Boston.

Very clean, spacious. Location is not quite downtown - on the edge oof the theatre district - but a good bet if yo're in that part of town.

Unlike many other hotels in Boston area, this hotel was very new. The room was also big and clean. The only problem was that the room was very noisy. The walls were not thick enough I guess, because we could hear our neighbors' conversations and that's was very disturbing.

With the exception of a glitch getting our luggage out of storage, everything was great. The pool, steam room, exercise room...all were top notch. We ate in the restaurant there...also superb. Here's a nice touch...the waiter,on his own, arranged a complimentary candle topped dessert upon realizing that it was girlfriend's birthday. Nice! The only issue was with getting our bags delivered to our room.We had them store them until check in time. It took an hour and a half to get them, causing us to get a later start to our evening.

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Boston. This is one of the best. Immaculate room, great view, quiet, comfortable bed. Wonderful huge lounge with intimate areas and delicious appetizers in lounge as well as margarittas. Right in the heart of Boston. Walk everywhere from there. Would definitely stay there again.

I made reservations at the Hyatt because I expected a world class Hotel. The room wasn't too bad considering its age, the bathroom could have done with a good cleaning, The bed must have been the most comfortable I have ever slept in. I had to complain about the other guests noisy children on an upper floor, and wan't happy with the way it was (nt) handled. The bar in the Hotel was expensive and the food average. The Valet parking bill was the biggest surprise, and the price is cleverly hidden from view.I will not be staying in the Hyatt on my return to a Beautiful City.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful in providing info on the immediate area. The hotel itself is in the theatre district, which is within walking distance of Boston Commons, Quincy Market and the North End. The rooms are very comfortable but one of our sheets was not as clean as I would've hoped considering the price of the room. Overall, I'd rate it a 4/5.
