| The room was exceptionally clean. The service was very fast and friendly.Having my car windshield cleaned every night was a nice touch. The Grotto Spa with the steambath/hot tub/pool at the end of a ski day was heavenly.Loved the fireplace. I thought the bed was a little to firm. I would rearrange the furniture, the blanket chest blocks the hallway(I stubbed my toe)and the chairs and table should be rearranged to better take advantage of the fire place

| We were very satisfied with everything at the hotel. The split bath (sink & counter separated by a door from bath & toilet)was wonderful since there were 4 of us. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant but all dining in Banff seems to be expensive. We bought breakfast foods and stored in the refrigerator.

| Hotel staff was very polite and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was large and comfortable with a large bathroom and very soft comfortable linens. Dining room was a little too pricy and more formal than the casual weekend we planned for. Town was about a 10 minute walk, just as stated in there advertising. Would and have already recommended this hotel.

| I have stayed in a number of other, more expensive hotels in Banff and only chose the Royal Canadian because the other hotels couldn't accommodate my timeframe. I am so glad I did. While it lacks a spectacular lobby, the staff is marvelous, the rooms lovely and comfortable, and both the service and the food at the Evergreen restaurant were great. Plus it's within walking distance to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

| We stayed at the Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff and we were delighted with our stay. The hotel staff were courteous and friendly, and the service was excellent. We called the front desk for assistance and someone was at our door within 3 or 4 minutes, I was very impressed! Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Only a few minutes to walk to the mall and other shopping and restaurants, although the restaurant in the hotel itself is a 4 diamond restaurant. I would definitely stay there again on my next visit.

| The room was on a corner very bright and airy. The whole hotel was clean, very comfortable, and friendly. Our room was very spacious indeed. The hotel is close enough to town that walking there is no problem at all. We didn't try the dining room, prefering to head into town instead. The hotel was popular with tours.

| This hotel was everything we expected and then some. I chose it because of the reviews in Expedia (100% were positive) and it lived up to its reputation. Wonderul service, great rooms and good location. Very helpful with ski rentals, etc. Fireplace in room was a nice touch, as well as the heated garage and the nightly washing of our windshield.

| If you are looking for a comfortable get-away at a reasonable price in Banff, this is your place. The rooms are very quiet and well put together. The beds are very comfortable, and rooms very functional. The only downside I found was that they are somewhat in the dark ages when it comes to internet access, they still have a pay service.
