The hotel was pleasant. I would stay there again. I love the fact that it was peaceful. I also had access to the freeways.

We had a nice stay. The hotel had not had my reservation on file, but that was quickly taken care of with a phone call. Other than that the trip was great, the room was clean, the hotel quiet and I think I would stay there again the next time I bring my son to San Diego.

This hotel is disorganized book rooms with reservations, and when given a room there were bugs on the bed and wall. When try to get customer service workers do not communicate with eachother what they promised or said.

The hotel is old and does not have many of the usual amenities i.e. no hair dryer, no microwave or fridge. It's clean and although you can hear the traffic from the street, the noises from next door neighbors coming in and out it is good enough to rest for a couple of nights. Good value for your money as long as you don't expect something more comfortable and luxurious; don't expect to spend more time than needed, we spent all day out (take shower, sleep and go).

This hotel was very dirty and old. My 2-year-old's feet turned black on the bottom just from walking on the carpet. They probably haven't ever had the carpets cleaned. The room also stunk really bad. Our bathroom wasn't too bad, although I would bet that some of the other ones were. The corners of the room had lots of crumbs from leftover food--and we were happy to check out. They claim that they are renovating, so maybe it will be better in the future. But I wouldn't risk it.

It's a cheap stay if your from out of town who's going to catch a flight out of San Diego. I stayed one night to catch a morning flight out of San Diego and didn't have to pay a lot.

Below average condition and repair of room. Kind of run-down for the class. Limited television channels. Very basic room no extras at all. Service was good though.

Disgusting. Asked for non-smoking room and got a stinky smoking room. Chair was ripped and stained. Bathroom was moldy. Lamp fixtures were rusty and wet. Loud. Lots of noise and drinking by patrons. Awful!!!!

I found the Chula Vista GoodNite Inn to be adequate only. I had to move from my first room, problems with lights, tv and missing furniture. Next room was better and quieter. All smoking rooms are below, allowing smoke upstairs instead of a wing devoted to smoking or nonsmoking, so we had to climb stairs. Employees were not overly helpful, just adequate. Furniture was cheap, towels clean but rough and service lacking. Sheets had holes. Cant say about beds as I use an air mattress. Location was good though! Good fish place next door. I would spend the extra money to get a nicer place. A 2 star hotel in CA is totally different than in DC, much less for your dollar.
