| The hotel in general is very nice. The rooms are large, well appointed and very clean. There are a few things though, that make this hotel a "do not recommend." The first is the location. It is far from the airport and it does not provide shuttle service. That means you must hire a taxi to get to the airport and back. Traffic can be a problem so time your trips accordingly. Taxis are available by the door of the hotel. Travel to Barcelona requires taking the tramway and then switching to the Metro. The travel time and overhead can be considerable. The tramway begins to run at longer intervals after 10pm and stops altogether at midnight. The hotel has a business center but the price of Internet access is 3 euros for 15 minutes. I only had one meal at the hotel. I ordered room service (the entrecote with french fries). The food was miserable. The meat was almost inedible, full of gristle and fat and the french fries were boiled in oil rather than fried. Total cost was around 25 euros. When I filled the review form at the hotel, I mentioned the poor quality of the food and a week later I received a letter with apologies and indicating that this was not a regular problem but rather a one time incident. I would have rather gotten a part of my meal expense back. I don't see why I had to subsidize their "one bad experience."

| it does take 45 minutes to get into the main city and so that can be a problem if staying out late. have to take a tram from hotel to metro and then take metro in.

| Large, modern rooms, clean. Far away from Barcelona's center (20 minutes by taxi). Good restaurant in lobby.

| The service was really really good. All of the hotel staff spoke english and were very polite. The lobby was very sharp looking. The room was immaculate. My only problem with the hotel was it was a ways outside the city, but on the other hand, public transportation is easily accessible from the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised.

| nice, clean rooms although they were not very soundproof and the thermostat did not seem to be working. the staff was very friendly and helpful.
