| The location is truly in the heart of Waikiki. Close to everything. If you seek some quiet and romnce, try to stay rather closer to the Diamond Head or completely somewher else. It has life night entertainment on the second floor, which you can hear every second day until 3 am. The street noise you can hear up to the 20th floor in the tower. We stayed in the Tower - view is ok, but the rooms are totally not worth the money. The are from the 1950s and never been remodeled, old wallpaper, old tiles which you can't find anywhere else then in some old public restrooms, basically no decoration at all. What is great is the pool, the terrace and Hawaiian singers by the pool each evening. Staff at check in is not super friendly, unfortunately. Parking is $15 per day. If you travel with kids, breakfast menu is a great deal even if it seems expensive - kids eat for free, in other places if you pay for them, it's the same at the end. If you like shopping - you can knock yourself out - everything in walking distance.

| Love this hotel. This was our 2nd stay at the Princess Kaiulani. Outstanding location - right across street from the Sheraton Surfrider, the beach and Kapiolani Park. Very reasonably priced (for Waikiki). Helpful staff - given automatic room upgrade at check-in. The expansive lobby area provides a beautiful and peaceful respite from crowded Waikiki - nice place for a relaxed drink. If you to go to bed early, be aware that (during summer) the poolside band plays until 9:30pm. When in Waikiki, this is our place.

| Everyone at the Princess Kaiulani was so nice and so helpful! From the front desk, to the travel desk, to the restaurants, we received nothing but the best and friendliest service. The "PK" is so well located, right across the street from the beach and next door to the International Market Place. We were able to walk to quite a variety of restaurants and attractions. We had the time of our lives!

| Great Location for Waikiki Beach. Extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful staff in all areas. Great tour booking facility on site. Great Buffets, outdoor bar and lounge area, quaint, relaxing. Dinner show at the hotel very good, better than expected. Beautiful ocean view with varanda on the Diamond head side. Many interesting things, shopping, dining within walking distance; even the Zoo! This was my second stay in the past 2 years. Would stay here again if returning to area for business or pleasure.

| Hotel room needed to be updated, grout in bathroom stained, dirty wallpaper. But overall ok. Since we had a late flight we were able to get a hospitality room to freshen up and that room was completely updated so maybe the wing we stayed in is next. It is in a very good location and can walk everywhere. We would stay here again.

The concierge did a great job, as did housekeeping, the bellmen, and getting us airport transportation and room service. We also received a surprising food credit for hotel restaurants upon our departure.

| Actually its not a bad hotel but I was quite frustrated with their response on our cockroach situation. We had a huge one in our room one evening that refused to die and no one came up to help us, didn't sleep very much that night, also requested another room, which we finally got the next day. As a Sheraton, I just expected the service in that respect to be much better.

Hotel is within walking distance from all the designers stores and almost across the street from the beach, there are plenty of resturants close by so that you have a variety to choose from and a market on the next street so that you can stock up on snacks to take to your room. The car rental place is across the street from the hotel and the bank is next door...couldn't have asked for a better location.

| Okay, some of the pics on the net imply that the hotel is beach front....NO WAY! It is accross the street. Still, not to bad. I would not suggest this hotel for people that do a lot of hanging around in the hotel when they travel. Very clean rooms, but look old---no biggy. The courtesy room is cool if your plane does not leave for a while after you check out. You can keep it for an hour (max) at no charge. However, I found hair in the tub and the towels were still wet from the person who used it before. I just changed myself and the kids in the courtesy room and I was out of the room!! They also have a late check out for ten bucks an hour after 11am, but you gotta be out by 1pm. My room was always clean, the beds were a bit small, the plumbing was fine, the location was convenient, and I did not try the food or the drinks. I bought a bottle of Malibu Rum at an ABC store ($14) and sipped it from a soda pop container....shhhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone!

| The Princess Kaiulani was great! We got in early before check-in, but our room wasn't ready. To kill time, we decided to walk around (the bell desk took care of our luggages for us). When we got back, our room wasnt ready yet; but since it was a minute past 3pm they gave us a free upgrade! That was a delightful surprise. The location of this hotel makes it a great choice. The bus stop is down the block (1 minute stroll) and it's next to a major hotel, which serves as the pick up point for tour buses. The food is pricey in the hotel, but there's plenty of cheap good eats close by. As for the room, the pillows were too soft! But after a day of fun, beautiful sights, and memorable adventures, it was easy to fall asleep each night.

Great for kids and people are so friendly. If you want to save money and not do alot of regular tourist stuff. There's a Burger King, KFC, Perry Smorgy (all u can eat for $10.00 -dinner)of course Jack N Box. for the days when you just want something regular. Not too many local eatries though you have to cross the channel for that. All in all if you have already been to the island and just want to relax on the beach & shop, surf this is your place.

| This hotel was ideal in its location, right in the heart of all the action, BUT, the "regular" rooms were below my standards. The bathroom was straight out of the 70's, baseboards peeling, old bathroom fixtures, etc. I would of paid extra money for a deluxe room upgrade, had I known. Some of the rooms are remodeled, we asked for the hospitality suite which we were able to use for an hour after we checked out and went to the beach. That was a nice bonus. In all, the room wasn't the best, but we weren't spending time in it very much. My advice, pay extra for comfort!
