| If you want to be close to the airport, this place was okay. There is NOTHING to do in Kahaluhi. We needed to drive somewhere every day & night to do anything at least 25 minutes to Kihei. Room smelled like mold, pool looks nice in picture but was very small. People were nice, but would not go out of their way to let us check in early and we could only get a 1 hour late check out.

| Beds, bathroom and a TV, what else do you need? Luxury is not something this hotel offers, but as long as you're not a princess, you should be alright. It's located in Kahului, really close to everything you need. Starbucks, Pizza hut, McDonald's, whatever you need.

| It served my purpose as a hotel close to the airport in order to get a late night or early flight out to the mainland. Close to shopping, good restaurants.

| I will recommend this hotel if you're not going to Maui for a vacation(maybe seeing a relative or some friends). It has a clean room and an air conditioner. Don't know the reason why it does not have coffee maker(maybe a trick for you to buy their Kona coffee). On the negative side, this is not a hotel where you can go to beach and relax. It is very near to a main road so you can hear the trucks pass by. Parking is free though you have to be back at the hotel very early to get a spot. If you need to be in Kahului, maybe this is your hotel but if you don't need to, go to the other area in Maui...

| We stayed at this hotel only because we wanted to be near the airport for our early morning flight. The room was small, noisy, and had a very peculiar smell. Parking was terrible. I would recommned getting up 30-45 minutes earlier and staying in a better hotel in Lahaina or Kihei. Staying here is not worth saving $20.

| This is a well run economy hotel, very clean. It is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a luxury, or even lovely, place. It is mostly used by locals as a meeting place or day use convention center. The location is central Kahuilui, on the dirty bay, with a dirty, almost non-existant beach. Rooms have windows that do not open and there is no exit from rooms to the garden area, only to the hallway. Not my idea of Hawaii.

| The room was small but clean. The bathroom was clean and well ventilated. The lower rate rooms do not have an iron, but you may ask for one at no charge. The pool is the size of a hot tub and there's no sandy beach. A shopping mall with Starbucks is within walking distance. Kahului is not a tourist attraction town but Lahaina is about 30 minutes away. It's a good place to stay because you'll drive to most of the attractions anyway and the distances aren't too great.

| Not enough parking and had to walk quite a distance to room. Breakfast is terrible, stale bread, white rice, greasy sausages and Portugese sausage, scrambled eggs. They would only bring out a small pan of food at a time and customers practically ran up to get seconds before they ran out again. I only had to stay overnight on a short business trip, so probably ok for that, but if your looking for a vacation, forget it!

| The Maui Beach Hotel in Kahalui was centrally located and not too expensive. It wasn't the most luxurious hotel I've ever stayed in, but for the money, it was quite nice. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel quite welcome. Our room overlooked the ocean and had a nice view.

| Quaint little hotel. Only drawbacks were not enough hours for access to the swimming pool (9AM-6PM) and also no SPA/Gym. facilities. Would have preferred a Jacuzzi at least.
