| I was a bit put off to find in the welcome basket along with the over-riced almonds and Hershey bars an "Intimacy package". I hope that is not in rooms where kids might open it.

| Dead flowers in the lobby, a surly bell man, no bedside table or lamp (until requested, then it appeared, no apples on the front desk. When I pay this price I expect service and elegance. Maybe it was the flowers: I passed them every day and watched the vase water get more and more sour so did my evaluation.

| The Sutton Place Hotel is a charming boutique-type hotel offering excellent service. We were notified of a city transit strike that hadn't even made the morning papers and so were able to make an unhurried early trip to the airport. The staff were very informative - the restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices and all in all made for a happy visit.l

| Sutton Place Hotel was selected on value for the hotel class. One could tell it was an older hotel by small items such as cracked marble in the bathrooms, however, impecibly clean. They kindly acknowledged my reservation but did not have a room ready for me for about 20 minutes; as a courtesy for the "delay", they upgraded my room. Definitely a place to stay---centrally located, beautifully appointed and customer friendly!!

| This is one of those Hotels that remind you of someone you dated; it makes a great initial impression (i.e. the common areas), but familiarity gives you greater pause. The room I was in was next to elevator and its noise as that of the other guests coming and going was certainly a big minus. Also, my room faced Bay Street and though I was on the 17th floor, I could still hear the street noise. Should have stayed at the better known competition a few blocks away. Definitely a two star hotel by any standard.

Subway system near to hotel, about one block to Wellesley Station, which connects to whole system. Variety of different dining in area. Lots of shopping also near. Highly recommeded, would book again if we travel to the area.

| High marks all around, with the exception of the front desk clerk who checked us in. Humorless! Bellman, valets, housekeepers all very pleasant and on point. Location smack dab in the middle of town, with Little Italy, Chinatown, Yorkville, Queen Street, Kensington a short cab ride or brisk walk away. Yummy corned beef hash and great service at Accents, the hotel restaurant.

| We brought our 2 dogs without any problems. The staff never asked for vaccine certificates or anything. All they required was a $150 deposit/dog. When we checked out, a staff person went up to the room with us to look over everything so we weren't charged the deposit. Any business that allows us to bring our dog children are great in my book!

| I've been staying at the Sutton Place every time I visit Toronto for the past 5 years. While the building is beginning to show signs of wear, I've always been extremely pleased with the hotel. The rooms (especially the suites) are very large and comfortable. The beds are "just right." The service is terrific. The location can't be beat.

| Having lived in Toronto while attending the U.ofT. for Grad School I always saw the Sutton Place Hotel as a destination that consistently reflected good taste. Now, some 25 years later the image and the product hold true. Everything from the warm and sincere greeting of the staff, the room itself, the fitness center, and the restaurant reminded me why this place is so popular with so many throughout the year, especially during the Toronto Film Festival.
