We traveled to PV from March 28-April 4th. The hotel served our needs perfectly. The pools were great, the activity staff did a great job, the bartenders were very nice, as was the restaurant staff. The rooms are a bit run down, but we did't spend much time in them anyway. If your looking for a beautiful room, this will not please you. The food was good - we ate mostly the fresh things that were being made each night and that food was great! We found our experience to be a good one and would go back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Club Embaracadero from March 27-30. When we checked in they gave us a room with two beds on the ground floor, we went back to the front desk immediately and asked if they had any other rooms and within two minutes they found a room on the 7th floor with only one bed. The view was beautiful, the room was huge, and clean. Yes, the bed was hard, but we slept fine. Our bathroom did have a weird smell coming up through the vents, but we kept the door closed and had no other problems with the room. The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful, they delivered a message to the Expedia representative about the Jeep trip we had signed up for with no problem. The lock to the room safes are $2 US per day, but worth it. We left the maid a tip each day and our room was always immaculate and we had plenty of towels. The food was fine, nothing too fancy, but we loved the quesadillas and there was always meat at every meal. Neither one of us ever got sick, well... from the food :). The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the pools were perfect and gorgeous. There were always pool chairs available, the beach area was not that fantastic, but neither were the neighboring beaches. All of the swim up bars were fantastic, and worked very hard to make you what you wanted. Be sure to try a "dirty monkey" and a "rum paralyzer". Overall our experience was fabulous and we will go back, the marina view was unforgetable.

Not bad place for the cost. The buffet food got old, but then again it's buffet. We did eat about 100 street tacos made at the hotel each evening. An ice machine would be nice too. Had to do stealth ice runs into the cooks area below the stage. Kids thought that was fun. Would go again.

Very disappoointed. Had to beg for towels, wash cloths. Bathroom was dirty and smelled. Given no soap. Food was fair except vegetables were uncooked when suppose to be cooked. Waiters were exceptionally nice. Desk clerks ignored you.

Hotel food was not good and being all inclusive, you're forced to eat it. Food wasn't offered enough times. Drinks were cheap labels...the best part about the whole hotel is the service. The room was OK at best. Time share people were Irritating!!!!

Club Embarcadero has amazing pools and a great location. However, the restaurant food was subpar even for an all-inclusive plan (breakfast was by far the best meal, and we found the snack bar and the late night taco stand to be better fare than the priamary offerings), the number of towels in our room was seemingly random, and the desk staff could be described as courteous but not friendly. If you plan on spending all of your time lounging by the pool (and why wouldn't you!), there's plenty of space for you and all of your friends, but don't expect a plush room and first rate service aside from the great bartenders. Despite our few criticisms, we still had a blast.

We checked out of the Club Embarcadero after less than 24 hours because there were sooo many problems getting any service for even basic needs. No bedding was supplied for our 8 y/o son's bed and none was brought to our room when we requested it. Two women in our party found their room door ajar when we checked in. Later they could not get the door opened (the hotel staff took over an hour to open it). The doorknob was still not fixed/replaced by the time we left. No beach towels could be found at any of the towel huts all morning and into early afternoon. There is very little beach and very few lounge chairs. The beach is about 2-3 blocks away from the hotel. No kayaks, boogie boards, or other activites could ever be found. Employees gave us the run-around about who supplies these activites. We usually had to raid the waiter's station for silverware at the buffet as not enough was provided in the buffet line. The food was okay. Any quality food, such as meat items, were very scarce and either gone if you did not arrive early for meals or else kept hidden by staff as if they were rationing it. The staff seemed pleasant but responded to most of our concerns by shrugging their shoulders and pleading ignorance. We were expecting an economy hotel but we were very displeased with the lack of service.

Hotel was great but I used the room phone 4 times using my credit card and was charged $35.00 US for each call. Each call lasted less than a minute. $140.00 US for 4 minutes was outrageous. Hotel staff and people there were very friendly and I found then to be quite helpful.

No hot tub. Hard bed. We reserved a king suite, and got a double. The kitchen area of our suite had a leak. There was an inch of water standing on the kitchen floor our entire stay. The maid placed a towel over the water. We asked to be moved, and they said there was nothing available. Their solution for the double beds was for us to push the beds together. We first had to unscrew a nightstand from the wall. We had a great vacation, but next time we will spend a few extra dollars for a hotel name we know and trust.

our experience was a mix bag. the pool areas were very nice, but the food was buffet for all the meals. the maids forgot to leave towels for us once, made the bed wrong on many occasions. don't tip the maids till the end of your trip. the bartenders were very nice. the hotel carries no american money for change. the gentleman in the lobby booking tours was very good, good tours. no ice in your rooms. buy a small ice chest up the street for ice. you have to get ice from the bar.

We had an overall good experience at Embarkadaro. The rooms were clean, cool and especially quiet. The beds are hard, but that was a plus for us. Request a balcony room! The location of this resort is great. You do have to cross the street and walk a ways to the beach; it is small but very nice. We also enjoyed the beautiful marina scenery while eating at the outdoor dining room. The food was probably our biggest disappointment, however. It was not bad by any means, it just could perhaps have been a little better. Again, overall, we were very satisfied with this resort and would go back.

We were very dissatisfied with the Hotel overall. They were not informative at all about the all inclusive. Our room was horrible located right near where they did all the entertaining every night it was so loud. Our room was very very small thats not what we are used to. The maid kept forgetting to give us towels. The food was bad we did not even eat there. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone. O

When we booked, we were apprehensive because the price was so low and the pictures were fabulous. The picutures were right on the money. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. If you're looking to get the most bang for you bucks, this is the place to stay. The lobby didn't have all of the bells and whistles. There isn't a separate "lounge, but there were two swim up bars and a bar in the lobby. It's not a 5 star property, but neither was the price. (Next time, I'll remember to pack a blow dryer.) Onecomputer for public use (free). If you're bringing your laptop, bring an ethernet cord. Ports available next to the pc. Don't call from your room. There's a $2.00 (US) charge. Go to the Wal-Mart and buy a callilng card. (Beware of where you buy a calling card. Not all cards are the same. Read the fine print.) Use public transportion. It's very easy to get around. Just take the bus that says "Wal-Mart." Use the public phone. The compressor made a lot of noise. Lost three nights sleep. When we checked out, asked for and received particial credit. A lot of three generational families. Meals served along the marina. Snack bar' across the street by the ocean! Marina around the corner. Beautiful yatchs, shops, restaurants, etc. (Pricey, but still someplace that you want to stroll around.) We were extremely happy with our stay. We can't wait to go back. If you're looking for value, this is the place to stay. Use 40+ sunblock - relax, sit back, eat, drink, and have fun!!

We'd recommend Embacadero Pacifico. Though the beach isn't much (we didn't see any outstanding beaches in the whole area) it's in a good location, clean, good food and generally helpful staff. Some light bulbs needed replacing and the bed was hard but it was definitely worth the price.

This hotel is by no means extravagant, but it was comfortable. The rooms were small but the pools, ocean, and views were beautiful. They definitly made up for the small room size. Because it is an all inclusive hotel, you wouldn't expect such good service. however, it was wonderful. The staff was always willing to accomodate any of our requests... They were more than happy to bring you another drink while you were laying on the beach!

Resort was nice and clean, food was pretty good, hotel rooms were roomy. Just watch our for the towels, $50.00 per towel if you "loose" it. Friendly staff and good environment.
