The hotel suite was quite comfortable, if a little cozy. The maid service help was very good. They cleaned some in the evening hours in addition to the AM cleaning. The sauna-hot tub area is quite small. The breakfast was decent for the price- free!Overall, a nice place to stay for downtown Toronto

During my tirp to Toranto I was extremely impressed with my stay at the Cambridge Suites Hotel. Prior to my stay I had not experienced Cambridge Suites. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The room itself was spacious and well appointed. The continental breakfast was excellent with more selection than I expected. The hotel itself was located in the heart of downtown within walking distance to anything and everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel and rate my stay a 10 out of 10.

Our trip was much more business than pleasure, and found our accomodations perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean, maid service very prompt, turn down service a nice bonus. We had a problem with the phone, and it was fixed immediately. I asked if feather pillows were available, they said no problem and brought them immediately. They offered complimentary breakfast in a nice sized room, but also offered to bring it your room if you let them know the night before--free of charge. Our only disappointment was that internet sevice was only free on some of the upper level floors. We needed it the entire week, and there was a daily charge for that. Location was easily accessible to restaurants and subway.

As a well-traveled businessperson, I've stayed in many 3- and 4-star hotels in the U.S. and Canada. While this hotel definitely provides respectable, comfortable well-located and convenient accommodations, it is lacking in the finer appointments I've come to expect from the "4-star" ranking. On arrival, there was no bell-person to handle our luggage making it necessary to use the luggage cart ourselves. The room was stocked with extra pillows, but lacked blankets for the sofabed for our children. And, while the requested blankets were promptly delivered, we were left to make up the bed ourselves. Very comfortable bed... For my own part, breakfast the following morning is an extension of the rest from the night before; in other words, it should be easy, relaxing and of good quality. Unfortunately rather than a relaxing start to the day, the included continental breakfast felt more like a DIY breakfast workshop, conducted in an uncomfortable and chaotic conference room, with bad fluorescent lighting, unsliced bagels, plastic utensils and zero wait service (a "full, hot" breakfast is available in the hotel restaurant, which is on a separate floor and offered at a premium of $10.95 per plate). Doubletree and Westin are far superior in this regard, with both breakfasts are presented in the same setting. As such, it makes it easy for the traveler with the more robust appetite to opt for heartier fare without uprooting the rest of their party. In all - a nice 3-[not 4-]-star hotel.

This hotel is close to the Eaton center and the CN tower. The parking garage is attached to the hotel so on rainy days you do not even have to go outside. The only odd thing that I found was that whenever I took a shower, there would be water on the floor of the bathroom. My wife did not have this problem.

VERY impressed with the service at the hotel. We came in late and had issues with luggage. They took excellent care of us the second we stepped foot inside the hotel. The complimentary continental breakfast was fairly standard - but having the option of it being delivered to the room free of charge made the mornings quite lovely.

My wife and I chose this hotel because of the suites and we have a 9 year old son. It is very conveniently located in the heart of Toronto, with great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel staff was efficient yet almost invisible. The room was clean and it has all the amenities of a business hotel - Internet access, a copy of the Globe and Mail each day. The only bad thing is the restaurant where the food is awful. If you avoid the mistake of going there at all, there is plenty great restaurants close by.

This hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of the city. Very close to everything and within walking distance to most of Toronto's major attractions. ATMs around the corner, easy access to underground transit. Parking was great! The parking garage was well lit, spaces were always available and we were allowed to take the car in and out as we pleased. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We decided to extend our trip and were able to do so with no problems - although the room charge did go up a bit - but we were able to keep our current suite. In-room breakfast was a nice touch. They do have a laundry room in the basement which works out rather well if you run out of clean socks halfway through your trip.
