The hotel was clean. And yes, it was right across the street from Disneyland. It took us less than 10 minutes to get to the park from our room. The breakfast wasn't the best for those who need more than a glass of juice and a bowl of cereal. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who like to see the park in the morning, take a break at the hotel pool in the afternoon and head back to the park for the evening.

I am picky and this hotel was perfect. It was located right across the street from Disneyland and California Adventure. Has a snack bar that stays open late into the night and a clean swimming pool. Also a nice store for gifts and emergency supplies. The office staff was courtious and handled our boarding passes for our flight home.Highly recommend this place!!

If you are planning a trip to Disneyland the location of this hotel is pretty good. It's not right across from the main entrance as the name might suggest, it's still about 2 blocks away. For the money we spent I was expecting more. The room was basic and we had plumbing problems. The lounge area by the pool is small and parking could be difficult. We were on the first floor and could hear the room above us which made it difficult to relax.

I picked this hotel because it was right across the street from disneyland. The hotel was ok. It advertised having a the largest pool and it really wasn't that big. There were kids every where, running up and down the halls and above us. This is not the place you would want to stay if you don't have any kids or are looking for a nice quiet place to stay. The continental breakfast was just ok, nothing special. My TV had problems the entire week and when i called the front desk, many times they said they would send maintenance and no one never came. Couldn't order movies either and the hotel staff kept putting the blame on the cable company instead of trying to help me.

This hotel was a very convenient short walk to Disney and California Adventure main gates. We were able to go to the park and bring our two year olds back for nap time in the afternoon and return to the park in the evening. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. We were less than please with the continental breakfast as they contorolled your very small portions.

We stayed three nights in the King Suite which included a lackluster jacuzzi tub. The price was reasonable and the room was clean and decent, nothing fancy. The real pro for us was that it was SO close to Disneyland, just across the street! Cons included: the very disappointing continental breakfast (they watch you like a hawk, DON'T you dare get a refill on your apple juice!). Also, we had some problems with our key cards, the front desk was very nice and willing to help, but we still had problems after several complaints. Overall, you get what you pay for, I would definately stay here again to save some money for the theme parks, but next time I'll be sure to bring my own bagels and orange juice.

The hotel itself could use some updating, but otherwise it was perfect for our short stay. Plenty of places to eat w/in walking distance. A very short walk to Disney and California Adventure main gates. Close enough that we could leave in the middle of the day to take a quick nap at the hotel and go back to the parks. The pool is great for kids, a very shallow end for little ones. I definately recommend it!

Not a great hotel, the room we started in had a broken shower and was arranged oddly, but the staff immeadiatly put us in a new room as soon as i mentioned shower and upgraded the room as well. So, service was good, lots of staff so rooms get cleaned early in the day, but still a bit rundown. Fine for if you plan to spend most of your day out of the room, and just need a place to crash. Free continental breakfast was minimal, but saved time in the mornings.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and were quite pleased with it. With 4 year old in tow we could walk to the main gate entrance to the parks in 7-10 minutes. Room was nice and we had no problems at all. Plenty of hot water in the showers and the paper at the door in the morning was nice. Free breakfast also was a plus since the prices for food at the park will break you. Very nice to have Dennys, Tony Romas, and IHOP on the way from the hotel to the crossing to get to the park. Downsides to the hotel were the floors were dirty. Although they showed to be vacummed socks turned filthy from just walking on the carpet. The only other was the area where you get breakfast looks like it was set up in what used to be part of the pool supplies shed. Tight quarters to walk around especially if in the midst of breakfast time and then you hope it is a nice day because the only tables are those in the pool area (3).

We had the family suite on the ground level. Our family of 5 had enough room to move around without bumping into each other. The service was great. We had a covered patio with table and chairs and nice green plants all around. The rooms are so quiet that we couldn't hear other people moving around above and beside. Our kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The hot tub became too crowded when the 5th person stepped in but the pool had lots of room for swimming and splashing around. The only down fall was the limited continental breakfast. It would have been nicer to have more of a selection and a bigger space to move around in while trying to reach for the breakfast fixings. All-in-all we are pleased and would recomend this hotel for your family too. We walked into Disneyland in less than 10 minutes while passing many places to shop and eat.

We have now stayed in all of the hotels that are at the Disneyland entrance. The Ramada has a lot to offer for your vacation: Short walk to Disneyland, Free Breakfast, Free Wireless Internet, a Pizza shop on site (prety good pizza), Coffee Shop on site, Sundries and nicknack shops, and a great Tour shop. As far as convenience goes, this place does it right. The hotel itself has been run a little hard, and I'd look for it to be renovated in the next year or two.

Outside of this and the maintenance man needing to fix our leaking shower it was fine. Good for sleeping not relaxing. I think the hotel could do some minor upgrades and be top notch easily.

You won't get the room you requested even if you book it two months in advance. The room was filthy even after room service. The towels are paper thin and so are the pillows. The continental breakfast was your choice of a croissant, bagel or ceral and your choice of orange or apple juice in a styro foam cup. We had to have maintenance come and fix the shower for no water pressure and an electrical outlet that wouldn't hold the blow dryer. I will pay top dollar for a good room, this was a rip off!

While it's not precisely "Maingate" (unless you count the main entrance to the parking lot), it is *very* close and certainly walking distance from Disneyland. Room was *very* clean. Nice, firm King sized bed with an awesome, huge, 2 person jacuzzi tub. Walls very thin and could hear much of the outside noise (fortunately, everybody outside was happy), water pressure in the shower was... lacking. Coffee stand makes a good cappuccino. Complementary breakfast was worthless - don't bother. It's no luxury resort, but it is a good value and a good location. We'd stay again if we were looking for this price range.

This hotel is a middle of the road family friendly hotel. No bells and whistles for those used to having luxurious accomodations, however the proximity to Disneyland can't be beat. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. Make sure you have all you need for your stay as this hotel is VERY basic. The room was clean, but very basic (no fine linens, microwave, refrigerator, no internet access). We will stay at this hotel again because of the short walk across the street to the Main Gate of Disneyland. No shuttles to wait for, no crowds to shuffle through. Great pool, friendly staff make this a hotel worth staying in.
