| Stayed at this hotel for two nights and was immediately impressed with the lobby. It gave a sense of small cobble stone streets and shops inside (none were open unfortunately). Room looked and smelled clean and there were pleny of towels in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly. They offer breakfast buffet which I didn't have but it looked good. Also, on the day I was supposed to check out, there was a tornado warning (complete Kansas experience) and staff asked everyone to stay inside of the hotel and offered juice, coffee and water to everyone "stranded."

| This was perfect for our week-long family trip back to the KC area- good location, close to freeway and mall. The pool and hot tub were great, although the hot tub was closed early Sunday night for maintenance. The little convenience store was ravaged by some kids staying there and was never re-stocked before we left, so we had to head out for late-night munchies. (But we had our favorite conevnience stores- QuikTrip- right down the street to stock up, so we didn't mind!) Restaurant was average but convenient. We had some problems with the wi-fi connection; the outside rooms had a pretty weak signal and once we got a connection established there were some DHCP issues. But the front desk staff was happy to help as much as they could and put us in touch with the provider for support (and we did get online after about 15 minutes). Overall-- exactly what we wanted: clean, comfortable, cheap, kept the kids entertained, and gave us the hot tub to relax at the end of the day.

| Upon arrival, we found that our room smelled like a sewer. The maintenance person sprayed deodorant, but it didn't help. We were given a new room after further complaint.

| When checking in, we were initially given a room that had quite an odor to it, especially for a "non" smoking room. We immediately told the front desk and they immediately marked that room as "dirty" so no further travelers got that room until their cleaning staff got to it, and assigned us a new, better smelling room. They also offered us a couple of "perks" for the inconvience and we were quite satisfied. The pool area was great as well...my son love it!!
