| We were very satified and the people were very friendly even if they were a little slow with some things. The only thing we didn't like was that the bed was too hard. Location was great, pool a lot of fun and the restaurants were very good.

| The location of the hotel is very central. The Marina, which has great restaurants and shops, is only a $2.00 (US) cab ride away. |

| The hotel itself was very well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing the hotel lacked was a workout center, but they did offer services that were nearby. Another great plus is that all of the hotel rooms had a great ocean view. Also, the location was close to all Ixtapa attractions and were within walking distance.....in other words, NO RENTAL CAR NRCESSARY, which is a big plus for me while travelling!!!

| Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful pool. Best beachfront hotel in Ixtapa. Ocean is very rough with strong riptides. See "local Attractions" section.

| The Dorado Pacifico is an average hotel. We went to Ixtapa, MX to be married and had originally planned to stay at the Krystal but the pool there was closed. We were lead to beleive as newlyweds we would receive a room upgrade, which we did not. We were also promised a gift basket, which was never given to us. The hotel was also doing renovations on all floors(it is their off-season in October), so the smell of some of the paint and grout used in the rooms was very strong and permeated througout our room. We had all ages of guests with us and the children really enjoyed the pool and waterslide. All rooms are oceanview, and the landscape was very beautiful. Although in the afternoons, the rooms became very warm due to the sunset. The maid service was ok and rooms were clean. The restaurants at the hotel were moderatly priced and offered a nice variety of food. They have great drinks at the swim-up bar and the one adjacent to it overlooking the ocean.
