For the price and class of hotel I expected more. The service was fine but was gouged for downtown parking, carpets were rumpled in hallways and room was very cramped. A strange mixture of quality Kohler bath fixtures, carpeting that was cheap and din't fit right and tiny room. For the price I would probably look at another hotel at a further distance away first.

At first glance the Millennium Hotel seems pretty fancy, however, once we checked into our room we weren't overly impressed. Aside from the standard bed, chair, table, TV, etc the bathroom was lacking in the niceness department. The shower was old and worn and the showerhead left something to be desired. Overall I wasn't too happy. The air conditioning also wasn't typical in the sense of user friendliness. While the room didn't get too hot it was a little on the warm side. Overall the hotel is nice but I don't think I'd stay there again.

This was a pricey place to stay, and it is a nice hotel, in the sense that it has a spiffy looking reception, lobby, and elevator, but the rooms are pretty much standard hotel rooms. The workout room was cramped and the machines were pushed together in a cluttered crowd. The pool was small, too. TV was the usual set of 15 hotel channels. I didnt want help with my bags but nobody offered either. The location was convenient to downtown, but parking was an extra charge that seemed a little high.

I am not a world class traveler, but, for some reason I expected more from the Millennium in Minneapolis. My overall satisfaction was acceptable, as I had no problems checking in or out. I suppose a remodel and the hotel becomes a four star hotel, but, currently, that is not the case. It is my recommendation to only stay at this hotel if the price is right, as it is clean and the help was friendly.

We spent the recent Easter Weekend at this hotel and enjoyed our stay. I don't know that I would have given it as high of a rating if we had paid full price, but at the price we paid, it was a good deal. We were initially put in a smoking room, which was not very pleasant, but when we called the front desk, they moved us to a room on the ninth floor that was much nicer. The view of the Minneapolis skyline was very nice, the room was good sized, clean and comfortable, if not fancy. The common areas were well appointed and the staff was nice. The location was great, within walking distance of many great places to eat. We had our eight year old son with us, and he enjoyed the pool, which was never crowded. The hotel was very quiet when we were there - we could hear no noise from other guests at all. We would go back again and reccomend it as long as you don't think you are getting a five star hotel - just a very solid 3.5 star.

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to everything downtown and a short walk from the Walker Museum and sculpture garden. The problem with the hotel is most of their rooms are updated with great clean furnishings. A modern look. However some rooms are very dated, not having been updated in many years and it shows. When checking in make sure to ask for an updated room, otherwise the bad rooms will make you feel like you're at a hotel with hourly rates.

The Millenium Hotel is conveniently located in the downtown Minneapolis area. The price is reasonable for the location. The quality of food, service, and the cleanliness of the room were all mediocre. My room looked pretty rough. But, there was still good value for those who want the convenience of the location and are price sensitive.

We stayed at this hotel with our three children to attend an event at the Convention Center. Our room was a suite. The rooms were large and accomidating. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly. The rooms themselves could use an upgrade. The carpeting and furniture were worn. The pool was nice and our room was clean. The skywalks were great as they connected to the convention center and shopping. You didnt need to go outside in the cold weather. This hotel is a great downtown location.

Great choice especially for families with small children--we came with our toddler. Our room was spacious, with a long sofa and a great view of Nicolett Mall. Hotel decor was modern, bright and rooms were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful except for a young man at the front desk who acted put upon when I asked him questions. The restaurant staff were very helpful with my special order request when my toddler was sick. The table legs were wobbly when we first arrived, but were promptly tightened after we called front desk. The location is primo, the room was comfortable, and overall the service was excellent. For the price, this was a good deal.

We got a great deal on a vacation package. After reading some of the prior reviews, I was a little nervous about the Millennium Hotel. However, as soon as we arrived any hesitations I felt were banished. Beautiful lobby, friendly staff we could not have asked for much more. The only draw back is the price of lunch/drinks in the hotel bar and the parking. Parking is $13.50 a day. I think that's a little steap, but then again your in a city (being from the NY area that's not too bad). Overall, we had a great time and would stay there again and recommend it to others.

There were multiple problems with the Millenium, not the least of which was that they did not seem very inviting of comments when I checked out - never said "How was everything". Bathromm sick did not drain Several light bulbs blown out when I arrived in my room Called the front desk and houskeeping twice to report these problems - phone rang a long time before I hung up - this happened twice Lighting in the bathroom is subdued and indirect - impossibl to shave by Deskchair, but no comfortable reading chair in a double room Ventilation system poor - it was 50 outside, I set my themostat to 72, but when I came back to my room the heat was blasing, yet the thermometer read 65! I had to turn the heat off manually and open the window - there is not air conditioning that I could see. There are many better choices in downtown Minn at the same price.

We were very satisfied with our one night visit. Self-parking was adjacent to hotel and convenient.Walked safely to all downtown sites. Highrise hotel showing signs of wear, but overall well maintained. Our standard room was clean and comfortable. Our Expedia Rate could not be beat, even by the hotel website. We recommend lunch and a martini at their Martini Bar. My salad was excellent as was the martini!! We would stay here again when in downtown Minneapolis if the price was less or comparable to similar hotels in the area. I would rate this a solid 3star with an extra bonus of their Martini Bar. (An unusual sideline-they had their lobby restrooms locked, you had to ask for a key to use them-we thought that a bit strange.)

I must say my overall stay at the Millenium hotel was so wonderful. When you go to the front desk you are first greeted by professional staff, who if you are going there for the first time or you are returning treat you with courtesy and kindness. The staff is knowelegable on where to go when you want to go out for a fun activity or if you want to stay in. The rooms are magnificent when you walk into the room it has a warm feeling of home and it makes you want to stay there for hours of time. The rooms are cleaned to the upmost ablities and as an overall satisfaction I would say if you are looking for somewhere you can feel like home and just relax this is the place to be.
