We stayed one night in Seattle. We upgraded to the 10th floor and had a corner room with a beautiful view of the mountain and downtown. It really helped that the weather was clear & sunny. Bed was really comfortable and hotel had a very good continental breakfast. Would stay there again.

Excellent choice if you're spending time in Seattle...an eclectic hotel with lot's of charm. Room was a delight - warm and inviting. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I'm traveling for business or pleasure. The District Lounge is another plus - :O)

I was in Seattle for a 2 day conference, and University Tower Hotel was the place where many of the presenters were staying. I was very impressed with the fact that the room actually looked like the pictures on the website. The bed was very comfortable. Most of all there was a beautiful view of downtown Seattle and Mt. Ranier from my window. The continental breakfast was more than just pastries and juice. The Downtown Lounge had great food, ambiance, and delicious drinks. I would definitely stay here again

The hotel is 10 minutes away from downtown Seattle. Though I wouldn't call it a high-end hotel, it is close to all kinds of small shops, theatres and eateries. I would recommend this hotel if you want an adequate room and you dont want to break the bank.

Needing to stay in the U District, we have now stayed at University Tower Hotel twice and will be future patrons as well. The rooms are comfortable, the continental breakfast is time and money-saving. The location is ideal for both bus and rental car travel (also parking is complimentary). And the staff were consistently attentive and warm. The only points to think of for some guests would be that we had random instances that the walls were a little thin, and the advertised wireless internet access is only really from the comfortable, beautiful lobby. Our room last summer did not have a network port, but the last one (premium) did.

the U-District isn't inconvenient for you. This is a neighborhood filled with restaurants, and a bit of seemy street life (wouldn't leave anything visible of value in my car). The hotel is indiosyncratic, but nice. . . I had a very small room, but it was more than adequate for me. . .would have been too small for two, though. How satisfied you'll be with the hotel has everything to do with where you're going in Seattle. . . if you're going on business, and have to fight your way through I-5 traffic downtown, you may wish that you'd booked downtown. With that caveat, I'd recommend this hotel. The area is _way_ more interesting than the downtown hotel district, IMO-- great restaurants, antiquarian booksellers, and of course, a gargoyle shop (really).

This was a nice hotel room- though we reserved the city premium, and they state that room is 600-700 square feet- it wasn't. It is still larger than most hotel rooms, but I guess I was under the impression that it would be larger. I liked the location- we were visiting Children's hospital and I felt the room was clean for our daughter.

Went up there to help a friend look for an apartment, so wasnt looking for a vacation hotel and thought I would try a budget hotel. Well it was just remodelled, so everything looks new inside... Only problem, the bed was hard and the room smelled strange and had a musty / urine type smell. Thus, kept the window open most of the time. Anyway, if it wasnt for smelly room / hard bed, it has a good location, cheap rates, free wireless internet, and in a nutshell if your not planning in spending much time in the hotel, then it gets the job done.

Nice clubby/retro decor adds charm to this Best Western hotel. Our room was small but comfortable. Hotel is located near UW, with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel has ample parking though taxis are usually waiting nearby. Other nice touches are internet access in the lobby and a Tully's coffee right off the lobby. The District restaurant in the lower level serves a good fish & chip lunch.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and the most recent visit was even more enjoyable. They provide a continental breakfast, the staff are extremely friendly and respectful, and there's a Tully's attached to the lobby! The only suggestion I have to improve hotel service is to provide a shuttle service to and from SeaTac.

We were overwhelmed by the satisfaction we experienced at this hotel. The atmosphere is artistic and reflective of the Seattle area. Our room was stylish, clean and had a view of Mt. Rainier. The staff went far beyond the norm in making our stay comfortable. We asked for directions, good places to eat (which they made reservations for us), and where to find a decent haircut. We even were allowed a late check out. The continental breakfast was fine and the coffee wonderful. It has close access to the highway and the University of Washington. We highly recommend this hotel!!!

Hotel in the heart of the University District, renovated to a gorgeous art deco theme. Two blocks from University of Washington, heart of shopping, within 5-15 minute drive of almost everything in Seattle. Great rooms, spacious, colorful, free parking, great continental breakfast. Neat bar downstairs. Great price for such a central location.

The hotel is very nicely decorated. Good extensive continental breakfast. Front desk staff could use a little polish. Certainly the hotel needs to improve the equipment in their workout room. Basic machines available but all in great need of repair and overall maintenance. Beds are extremely comfortable with nice linens and down quilts. Cobwebs and some spiders share the room with you.

The rooms (I stayed in two different rooms as I had a break of a few days between stays) were very clean and comfortable. I liked that the hotel had a wireless hub in the lobby and enjoyed the convenience of the continental breakfast. I will definitely return to this hotel in the near future.
