| The hotel staff were very friendly and everything was clean. But it was clearly an older hotel. The furniture looked as though it was bought in the 1960's or 1970's, and in some places paint was chipping and a few bathroom tiles were cracked. I stayed here because I am a student on a very tight budget. For that purpose, it was sufficient and I felt safe staying alone. Personally, I would probably be willing to spend a little more for a bit nicer place next time.

| I chose this hotel for its excellent location (only a block or so from st catherine). The price was definitely right for the size of the room, although don't expect new furnishings. The decor is quite dated but everything was clean and relatively comfortable. It was a great place to crash after a late night and I would stay again. Not only that, but there was retro pool area and you get a free "breakfast" which consited of a croissant, but hey it was free!

| The Tour de Centre Ville is a converted apartment building that dates from the 70s located three blocks from the Palais de Congres convention center. The staff are friendly and professional, and the hotel offers lots of amenities like a pool and laundry, but the furnishings in the rooms are a bit tired. I'd recommend this hotel to people on a budget who want the 'suite' experience in downtown Montreal.

| Very reasonably priced and in the center of things. I was able to walk to just about everything I wanted to see. The elevators were slow and my room key constantly needed to be reactivated because I "put it too close to my keys." That was strange--never heard that before.

| Older hotel. If you are just looking for a clean bed it is ok but nothing to get excited about. Location is close to convention center.

| The hotel rooms were clean, however the furniture and fixtures are old. For the price, if you don't need a luxury hotel, this is the one to pick. Right downtown and located close to everything.

| We've stayed in this hotel many times on weekend trips to Montreal. The price is good, it's easy to find and centrally located, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The parking garage is small and often full, which means you have to seek parking elsewhere, and the elevators are slow, but other than that I have no problems with it.

| The hotel's rooms are nicely sized, but our stay was quite unpleasant because of a broken air conditioner during 90+ degree heat. The hotel was unable to fix it, therefore we decided to check out early and stay at another hotel.

| This hotel was an excellent buy, with private bedroom, sleeper sofa, kitchenette and overall great staff. The location can't be beat, with it's downtown location, just steps to underground Montreal and the Metro, and a few blocks from Vieux Montreal and Chinatown. Getting to this hotel was extremely easy as well.

| We went to Montreal the first week of May 2005. Le Tour is centrally located, which was our main concern. It is blocks from both Chinatown and the shopping district of St. Catherine's street. The hotel also conveniently comes with a kitchenette. The decor is outdated, and there were visible patches on the wall. The furniture needed to be replaced and there was only a television in the sitting room and not the bedroom. Parking was available at a price, but the garage is very tight. Good value for a room, but not recommended for a vacation relaxing stay.

| This is a decent, relatively clean, comfortable midtown hotel for an excellent price. Don't look for luxury here, but it's a good deal at a very good price. There is indoor hotel parking around the back of the building, but you'll need a key card from the lobby to get in.

| This hotel, it turns out, is a popular place for weekend travelers. By Friday and Saturday night, my floor was filled with young adults and party-goers. It didn't bother me as I'm a night owl and a heavy sleeper, but some people don't like feeling the walls shake at 3am. The room itself was more than adequate. I liked using the kitchenette and having a fridge to store my beverages. There was a huge window that stretched across the entire room that was very nice and it had an equally impressive sun shade that worked great for a late sleeper such as myself. Too bad the view outside was only so-so. Having underground parking was nice and convenient ($15/day). What was weird was that I was required to use 2 elevators to get from my room to the lobby to the garage; a minor inconvenience. Maid service was good; I started my days late but when I got back, the room was always clean. The bathroom was clean, but I was disappointed in how weak the water pressure from the showerhead was. Getting the perfect temperature seemed difficult as it constantly needed adjustment during the course of the shower. I wished the television was a bit larger and had a better remote control. At least it was on a swivel so I could watch it from either the sofa or the bed.

| I, unfortunatelly spent there just one night, but my wife and I really enjoyed it. It's like a one bedroom furnished appartment with a nice bedroom and spaceous living / dining room. They have an underground garage which was an extra to expedia cost, but cheaper than any nearby parking. Hotel is nicely located in minutes walk from Old Montreal, and two blocks from St.Catherine Street and De Jardains complex. Defenetly will stay there next time!

| Each room is equipped with a small kitchenette (stove, refrigerator, sink with dishpan and dishsoap, table and chairs) plus utensils, plates, coffee cups, glasses, and even wine glasses. Secure, indoor parking is offered for an additional fee. More than anything, this is in a great location... You can walk to everything from the hotel. I would definitely go back.

| I don't think you can beat this place when you consider the location, price, and quality of this hotel. The rooms are very large, and the kitchenette is great to have. We were able to save more money eating a few meals in the room. The pool was not very warm, but nice and relaxing.
