| I was nervous about booking a hotel in a place I have never been. But this hotel had great ratings and was everything I expected. Everything was nice and clean. The employees were helpful and friendly. What I enjoyed most was that the pool, beach and restaurant were all right there. We didnt need to go anywhere else. Great place to go to do nothing but relax.

| We were pretty disappointed with the Fiesta Americana. We have travelled previously in Cabo and Oaxaca extensively and we were far more pleased with our accomodations in these locations. One of the main reasons we chose Fiesta Americana was because of the rave reviews on Expedia. The staff was fairly complacent, unattentive, and not very helpful at all. This was completely different from what we have experienced in other hotels. The front desk was difficult to deal with- we were usually waiting in a line. The one exception was the cleaning staff, who were very friendly and did a thorough job cleaning our room each day. Our room was in pretty good condition although it did smell like smoke. The overall condition of the hotel was less than average. The pool is small and uninviting. There were lots of kids and it wasn't really a peacful place to be. The tile looked dirty and cracked in a lot of places. The beach area was a strength with big palapas to sit under, but the water wasn't very inviting in this location (to be fair the beaches in Vallarta really aren't that iniviting in general). Another strength was the nice balcony with a great view of Banderas Bay (8th floor room.) This hotel is not a bad place to use as a home base and explore the area, but it is not great for just hanging out all day. Be wary of the prior excellent reviews.

| THe Fiesta Americana was a great hotel. I did a lot of research online before booking out trip and wow, did it pay off. The food was good, the people were great, the amenities were awesome. We lounged on the beach almost everyday under a palapa while getting served margaritas.. the water in front of the hotel was nice and clean. The hotel is very clean and well cared for. I would highly recommend staying here and I would defintely come back.

| We've just spend 3 nights @ this wonderful facility. The service was excellent, clean and courteous. My spanish isn't great but most of the staff speak english. This hotal is not too far from downtown P Vallarta so you can save money by just using the local buses. Can't rate the food because we ate in town mostly. I would definitedly stay here again. Mucho Gracias Fiesta Americana!!

| The hotel is beautiful; the rooms are well appointed and clean and the service was excellent. The pool and grounds are gorgeous. The massage on the beach was spectacular. My only complaint was the concierge sold us a tequila tour for $50 that included dinner and a margarita, but the tour would have been free. Felt like a total rip-off. Nevertheless, we loved the hotel and would go back.

| This hotel is beautiful.we had an ocean view room the sunsets where awsome .we went in early May .perfect weather.beach and pool are great service was very good. The food however was not great.do yourself a favor don't pay for all inclusive there are other places to eat for less money. There is a small shopping center across the street from the hotel ,you can go ther and buy food ,snacks, drinks and spirts for alot less and bring them back to your room .move the little table out on the balcony and have your meals with that wonderful view. The drinks there are weak so buy a bottle and make your own.Downtown there is alot to do and see great shopping.and the only cold beer I had the whole week we where there, 2 for 1 at club 69. the marina is great there ,is a great place for lunch I can't remember the name it starts with an M and has a lobster one the sign. great grilled lobster, shrimp ,fish.and free tequlia on each table. be careful.there is a whole fifth on each table great service. All in All would go back agian .Great time

| The Fiesta Americana was a wonderful hotel. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. The beds were a bit hard but the view made up for the stiff beds. Most nights we had the balcony doors open listening to the waves hitting the beach. Staff was helpful and prompt. Prices a bit high but not unaffordable. We ate out in Puerto Vallarta and not at the hotel. Wouldn't have had it any other way either. We definitely would go back!

| Check-in was quick & easy. Near as I could tell, all rooms have beautiful views--there seems to be a good variety of room types, depending on if you wanted the top floor "Fiesta Club", or a larger patio on the first floor. Very beautiful pool (probably the best part of Fiesta Americana); beach is also very nice. Food was pretty good but not the absolute best. Service was inconsistent: depending on who you were dealing with, it was either very good or somewhat poor (but more good than poor). This is a great family place; if you have kids, the whole family can enjoy this place. If you want a rockin' night scene, you'll need to go downtown or somewhere else. Overall I highly recommend it.

| My husband and I went to Puerto Vallarta for the first time to celebrate our 5th year anniversary. I took the advise of the previous reviews and booked this hotel and we made the right choice! The highlights: - all the rooms have views - great pool with swim-up bar - hotel offers beachside massages - cleaning service comes often and does a great job - shower has great water pressure (most hotels don't) The cleaning service does come in weird times of the day but you can just put your privacy sign and they will come back later.

| The only issue we had was checking in. Three times they told us a time the room would be ready, each time they said it would be longer, on the third attempt we asked for another room and received it right away. The hotel has a fantastic view and the food is excellent. They have breakfast and dinner buffets and the items change daily. There is a grocery store, KFC and Pizza Hut, etc within 2-3 blocks if you are into that.

| The hotel was great! Our room was well cleaned and we had a view of the ocean. Some negative points were the poor customer service from the hotel staff as well as the waiters from the hotel restaurants. The food at the hotel was fair and quite expensive. We found better food and prices in El Centro (downtown).

| The Fiesta Americana was a beautiful resort, very open with very reasonable lunch and great food at the outdoor snack bar (soft taco's, nacho's, salads). The food at the restaurants was just average, and we found that dinners in town at various local restaurants was excellent. The beaches were very nice, and the landscaping around the hotel/pool was beautiful! We had our two children (11 and 14 years old) with us who had a great time as well. It was a fantastic family vacation, and our first time in Puerto Vallarta. We will definitely go back, and stay at the Fiesta Americana again.

| We stayed the first week of December and found everything to be fantastic. I took my Mother on this trip and my main priority in finding a place to stay was a clean and odor free place. That is just what we expierenced. Thanks to those who contributed to this review in the past, I really had nothing else to go by. Fantastic sunsets from the 9th floor. We sat out and enjoyed the chairs on the small deck outside the room each day. The staff was very warm and friendly. Our check in and check out was a breeze. The Hotel is beautiful and the beach is nice. Easy to walk the beach if you go North.

| The hotel is very nice and comfortable. I stayed on the top floor (9th) which includes a breakfast (consisting of juices, pastries, and sandwiches), afternoon snack (soda pop, water, and chips), and a night time appetizer (a hot food varying dayly fish, chicken, beef it was very delicious). The food was great and I think it was worth the extra money. The view from the top floor was amazing also. The hotel's bars and restaraunts are great and not terribly expensive. The pool is only 3.5 feet deep which I would have liked a little deeper but it was a nice pool with a good pool bar. The beach is nice however vendors on the beach are somewhat bothersome but they are easily ignored. Overall the hotel was great and the service was very good.

| Arrived before check in time and was able to check into room. Hotel centrally located to town. Beach good but water is cold in November. Pool was not what I expected. Had a volleyball net in place at all times and no easy step down as most pools have. Instead had an island with a big step down. However, adapted to their configuration. Staff very good and the hotel offered the best exchange rate.

| We returned a few days ago after 6 nights at the Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta. Our overall experience was exceptional! The hotel staff was always helpful and courteous, our room was nicely appointed with beautiful marble floors and the housekeeping services for the room were superb. The entire hotel, including our room was constantly being attended to by housekeeping staff which allowed the hotel to sparkle. The large pool was cleaned each morning so the pool, pool area and pool furniture were always sparkling also. The bell people and concierge were very helpful and the services at the bars and restaurants were always attentive. We had one dinner meal at the outdoor restaurant in the hotel which we rated as good, not exceptional. All other meals we enjoyed at various small restaurants in town, which were generally very good. After our first experience at the Fiesta Americana we have just booked another stay in late November. We are very much looking forward to returning.

Didnt do inclusive since we wanted to eat in town as the numerous restaurants. Hotel is on the Blue bus line for @26cents road into Malecon area but go beyond this area for the good restaurants. They referred us to the excursions desk when necessary. The only thing about our stay that we did not appreciate was the timeshare pitch that we received upon check-in after having just disembarked from a long flight, thinking that it was an informational packet about the area that we were about to receive compliments of either the hotel or Expedia.

| Beautiful hotel; great service. We were a little disappointed that the pool was shut down shortly after we arrived for unexpected maintenance-we would not have booked there had we known the pool would be out of commission; felt that we have been compensated for the inconvenience. Also, although there is a rope along the beach to discourage vendors, this was not enforced and the beach vendors frequently crossed the rope.
