We loved this hotel. The minute we saw the beautiful lobby with the lush gardens, art work and flowing water we knew were going to enjoy it. Best and biggest hotel pool we have ever seen, complete with waterfalls to swim under. Great kid pool also. We loved being able to walk right from the pool on to the long stretch of beach. For evening walks it's paved all along the beach front. We never wanted to leave!!!!

After much research of where to stay we chose the Hyatt. I was very pleased with my choice when I got there. It was much more than I'd expected. The rooms were clean, the food was great, and the service was friendly and quick. View's were great, bed's better than my home one. Golf within walking distance (great course) My six year old loved the pools and the live birds at the hotel. Whaler's village was close by and I liked the shops. Front street had lots to offer. I recommend snorkeling through Four Winds II (Maui Classic Charters) to Molokini. Great crew and boat! Do the road to Hana, main stops I took were Twin Falls, Black Sand Beach, Seven Sacred Pools. Seriously it takes 12 hours! Have fun driving back down the road when your all done...watch out for the locals they move fast. Try to keep up, it's fun! The luau at the Hyatt was great, good and plentiful food. I think they offered everything at the hotel imaginable, loved it, loved it. I could go on but I won't, you wouldn't regret staying at the Hyatt!

The Hyatt Maui is a beautiful property. The room was very nice, bed was heavenly but the sofa was very uncomfortable. Internet access was $10 per day above the daily $15 resort fee. Hyatt has no beach to speak of due to a hurricane 2 years ago. The adjoining properties had great beach areas.

While the hotel is a little older it has been well maintained. The design is classic with a lobby filled with lush green plants and fun animals (parrots, penguins, koi fish). It is predominantly open air and has a great flow to the outdoors. Restaurants have wonderful views and the beach is easily accessed and fun for swimming with some nice waves. The staff were supurb, consistently making sure that you were having a great time. Whalers Village is in walking distance and Laihaina is a short drive. Overall we loved it and would go back again.

Great service from hotel staff. We were placed in a room on the wing adjacent to the nightly luau. The noise from the luau (drums banging, signing, crowd clapping) that went into the night past 9 pm woke up our 2 year old toddler a few times, which was annoying to say the least. After our first night, we complained and were upgraded to a quieter, better (ocean view) room at no charge in the main building. Not much to complain about after that! The children's pool is great for little ones. The morning buffet is great, though pricey, but probably not for by Maui standards. Still, when we ordered breakfast off the menu, it took forever, ala Hawaiian time, so the buffet was a savorior, again, because we have often hungry and squirmy toddler. Beautiful gardens and well-kept grounds. Too bad the beach isn't more swimmable but there's still enough to slpash about close to shore and a short walk up the beach finds you in a better area for swimming. I would come back in a heart beat.

Arriving at the Hyatt Regency, I wasn't sure what to expect with the quality of the hotel. I need not worry. From the moment we arrived, we were well taken care of and all of our needs were met and even exceeded. The beds were more comfortable than ours at home but the staff is what makes this motel exceptional. From check-in to check-out, they were courteous and eager to help. We highly recommend this facility and can't wait to return. p.s. - It was a pleasant surprise to find penguins, flamingos, koi, exotic birds, etc. all within the hotel grounds!

The hotel is visually stunning, with a wide open courtyard out to the pool and beach area. Service is outstanding, quick and friendly. Excellent breakfast buffet in the large dining room, but the rest of the restaurant areas could be improved, but there's plenty of other restaurant choices in the area. Beachfront walk to shopping & restaurants. We'll definitely be back.

Hyatt is a nice hotel to stay at, but remember it is not a five star hotel, so don't expect a royal treatment there, but it's not that is bad,it's just not five star. :) Keiki pool is the best, my three year old had a blast. Our room was on the first floor at Napili tower, so we just had to open a sliding door and go out to the pool, it was the best thing about our stay, we didn't have to deal with elevators and could leave our room without any shoes on, It was GREAT! Maui is very relaxing, the weather is perfect and sun tan is too. Have fun staying at Hyatt, it's a great place to stay at.

We just came from Maui for our 5th wedding anniversary, our 5th time in Hawaii!! On the first day, we were on the beach & my 3 year old daughter asked for the pool!! I read on the "Maui Revealed" that Hyatt had the best pool so I reserved for 1 day since we were staying at a friend's house. My daughter loved the pool, the slide, the fountain & the pebbles. Even my 9 month old liked it. The poolside restaurant was very reasonable, too. the beds were great! the place was very clean. the luau was OK. old Lahaina luau was better, I think. would definitely go back there again!

There was practicly a mini mall in the hotel with lots of fun stuff to choose from. The activity center and concierge desk were very helpful and informative which made it great for us to venture out on daily excursions. I could go on and on but that could take awhile so I'll stop here. I hope I got my point across, great place to stay.
