We stayed in a Spa room, which was sunny, clean & gorgeous, although the view could have been better. The hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Duval Street and the many restaurants and bars that make Key West a tourist mecca. It was a bit noisy at night -- from the myriad Harleys on the strip and off-key cover bands in surrounding establishments -- but the mornings were glorious (we had great weather!). The staff were attentive, courteous and friendly, although they did forget the wake-up call our last morning. Overall, though, a great place, and we're definitely going back!

My wife and I were married in Key West in March of 2005. We stayed at the Pier House and loved it. We just returned from our first anniversery there and it was equally as good. This place has a nice beach (unique for Key West) and is within walking distance of everything. Pricey, but worth it.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Everything is within walking distance so you can walk everywhere. We stayed in a spa room and loved the room but would probably stay in a Garden Room next time. The view from our balcony was not good and not worth the extra dollars. Had a wonderful time and the staff was great! Can't wait to go back.

The Pier House was a nice hotel on the quiet end of Duval Street -- an ideal location in Key West. Though not a luxury resort, the Pier House was a nice hotel with the added benefit of an onsite spa. Check out the jacuzzi -- it's fabulous!!

Even though the Pier House is nestled at the end of Duval Street where the nightlife of Key West comes alive, it still manages to be comfortable, quiet, and safe. We highly recommend the Spa, the treatments are refreshing and relaxing.

We've stayed at many hotels in Key West and this hotel was by far the best experience - the service was superb, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pool area and beach were spotless - we had a spa room which was excellent, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This motel had everything you needed. The food and drinks were very good. The private beach was relaxing with great weather between 85 and 95 degrees each day. There was an isolated pool and hot tub with beautiful plants and trees. Staff was courteous and available.

The location was great. The little beach was great but the lounge chairs were very uncomfortable. Even the towel assistant agreed they were uncomfortable. Would not return if I was going to lounge by the beach or pool.

We were able to park the car on premises with security and walk everywhere we wanted to go. The Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were only there for one night, but I would go back there next time I plan a trip to Key West. The room was very comfortable - private beach was well maintained and we had breakfast with a beautiful view of the water.

Cons:This hotel definately needs renovation. The room carpeting was dirty in our room. Cleaning service lacks efficiency. Our bathroom did not have circulation therefore it had an odor. S. Fla is known for sugar ants, however this hotel was being overrun by them. Our room had to be sprayed and it really didn't make a difference. Bar and restaurant staff showed frustration when computers went down or when they were overwhelmed. Pros: Front desk service very accomodating but unfortunately limited to what they could provide to satisfy a visitor.

Nice place but for the $ that you spend to stay there it was no big thrill. Not to mention that the spa rooms, the spa tub didnt even completely work. Just nothing special about the place. For what you pay you would expect more.
