| We got a really good rate and were happy with the room, the staff & the pool, but we were facing the parking lot and highway. Be sure to ask for a marina side room to really appreciate this hotel.

| It's quite cheap so I couldn't complain. However be aware that the hotel is on a very busy highway, therefore if you decide to stay there, make sure you get the water view rooms (30%extra) so you're not facing the parking and highway. The rooms are good size, pretty standard though. It's a little far from beaches and restaurants but the view of the water and boats is very pretty. Overall it feels more like a motel than a hotel.

| This was an older hotel, but still clean and had the basics. The best part was our view of the harbor. Some of the rooms have patios and others open up to a beach area that overlooks the harbor. Definitely call them and ask for one of these rooms. The view is much better than on the other side where out your window you'll see Rt. 41. I'm not very demanding as a traveler; this is no luxury stay, but it was calm, comfortable, and has a decent restaurant. I will stay here again.

| The actual hotel room experience was nice, and we even got a free upgrade to the Marina side (well worth it even if we had to pay). But when I got to the hotel they did not have my reservation in the computer, "they forgot" but they handled that way. My rea problem was the second day when I left for lunch and came back to see my room key did not work. All of my belongings (jewelry, luggage, computer) were in the room. I went to the office and they told me they checked us out, they thought we wanted to leave. BUT we had already paid for both days on the card. They were not very organized. Nothing was done to make me feel better about this, except to give me a new key. Bottom line... nice hotel and it was nice to have it at a marina, but the front desk was not together.

| We weren't sure what to expect, but this is a nice place on a marina. Nothing spectacular but the rooms are clean. There is a nice pool and restaurant. We did hear some loud planes from the nearby airport, but that was early in the evening & didn't interfere with us sleeping. I'd stay there again.

| I was pleasantly surprised. For the money, this place was perfect. Very clean rooms. Beac Volleyball, tiki bar, temp controlled pool. I brought my 3 kids 9,7 and 4 and they were entertained enough for out short stay. There are plenty of places to eat in the area. I definitely recommend this cozy clean hotel.

| The Cay Club is quiet with caring employees that are down to earth and hard-working. Asthetically, the grounds aren't as well manicured, the surrounding businesses aren't exactly picturesque, but the rear portion of the hotel encapsulates a quaint yacht cove. A sand volleyball court is available for play or you can relax by the outdoor pool that has a bar just a few feet away. The in-house restaurant is very nice and the food is excellent. I would recommend it (especially the Montego Bay Salmon!).

| Everything was very cllean, check in was fast and the staff was friendly. I enjoyed the marina and the location was in a good spot to go into sarasota. The only things i didn't meet my expectations were the happy hour. beers and mixed drinks were expensive at the tiki bar. You got a coffee maker, but only one cup of coffee if you wanted another cup you had to go to the lobby and pay for it. No comp. free breakfast. No hbo unless you payed. Other then that the hotel was a nice place to break up your travels.
