| The rooms are a bit on the small side, but this hotel is the perfect location if you plan on spending time in the French Quarter. The location two blocks from Bourbon Street allows you to have fun but then return to a quiet location. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the observation deck provides a great view of the Quarter. Additionally, everybody who lives and works in the Quarter (including those at the hotel) are SO appreciative of tourists returning to New Orleans.

| This hotel exceeded my expectations especially considering the ongoing problems post-Katrina. The staff were great. Currently the entire city is short staffed but you'd never know it here, everyone I met there was friendly and efficient without being overbearing. Queen rooms are smallish but comfortable, with excellent water pressure in the shower. Best location in Quarter with a rooftop pool, what's not to like.

| Located near the art galleries on Royal Street and just a short block away from the heart of Bourbon Street, the Omni is in the right place for you to have a great time in New Orleans. The French Quarter was largely unaffected by Hurricane Katrina. Now is a good time to visit.

| The hotel itself was great. You can walk everywhere. The pool and rooftop deck was great for relaxing & having a late afternoon drink from the bar. The room we had on the 2nd floor was very small. The carpet in the room & hallways was very stained, needs to be replaced. Everyone at the hotel was very polite and helpful.

| The Omni is a beautiful hotel with friendly, attentive staff. The rooftop pool area is comfortable and has a great view of the French Quarter and the river. The central location makes it easy to get around. While the standard rooms are a bit small, you'll want to order the roomservice and have at least one meal in bed!

| This hotel sits in the absolute middle of the French Quarter, between the two nicest streets for shopping and dining, and had impeccable service. From the front doors, you are just 100 yards from K-Paul's and Brennan's. Our only complaint was the incredibly small rooms. Our room had a double bed, and it hardly fit in the very small space. This hotel was definitely a premiere location, but you sacrifice some comfort in making that decision, not in terms of quality just in terms of space.

| The rooms are way too small. The bathrooms are painfully small. They have a beautiful quartyard that many rooms overlook but it's only used for business meetings. It's a shame we weren't aloud out there.

| The bell hop and consierge were very helpful and very nice. The room was a little small, but that was ok. The only real problem we had was that there was a roach running across the bedroom floor. Our friend's also had a roach in their room. Looks like you need an exterminator.

| My husband and I travel a lot and we expect good quality when we stay at a 4 or 5 star hotel. The hotel entrance is attractive but the decor is old-fashioned and very ornate. The decor style would not have mattered had the rooms been clean and comfortable! Our room was miniscule--I've seen bigger at Holiday Inn. The receptionist called to offer a larger room so we moved. The 2nd room was missing a bedspread and the carpet had a large unmistakable stain next to the tv. A cleaning lady told us someone had an "accident" on the bed, hence the missing cover. By now, we thought maybe we were victims of a practical joke. So we moved a third time (never done this before) and this room appeared fine. But the following occurred: when we pulled the bedspread back that night to lay down, the cover had numerous brown stains (we couldnt believe it!) which the cleaning staff promptly removed--but still! Then, the nightstand and the bathroom had dust in many places and there was dirt randomly in the bathroom fixtures and on the wall and it just was very sloppy and disgusting. As a result, we were afraid to touch most items in the room during our stay. We are not the type to complain yet these conditions were gross and very disappointing given the rating of the hotel. On a positive note, we were given a complementary breakfast for our troubles and we were reimbursed an amount from our total. Perhaps this was a fluke but the fact that three rooms were of sub-par quality says something.

| every person we came in contact with at this hotel was the most pleasant we've ever met. from the doorman to the desk clerk to staff that we'd pass in the hallway. you couldn't ask for a friendlier environment. our room was on the 7th floor which was great for avoiding noise. only every now and then did we hear street noise and thats to be expected anywhere you stay in the french quarter. join the omni select guest program and get complimentary beverages and newspaper in the mornings. we have been to new orleans 4 times before, and this hotel experience made this trip extra special and extra perfect.

| If you're looking for a place to stay in the French Quarter that is close to shopping, restaurants and site-seeing. this is it. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable and the in-room safe was a plus. There is a charge for parking but it was better than looking for non-existent parking in the Quarter. One warning- be sure to check the final bill for accuracy.

| If you would like a clean, pleasant and affordable place to stay in New Orleans then this is the place. The hotel is conveniently located two blocks from Bourbon Street and three blocks from Jackson Square. There are many great places to eat within a couple of blocks such as NOLA, Broussard's, Galatoire's, K-Paul's and Antoine's. The management of this hotel is first rate. They handle everything with efficient professionalism that is becoming rare in many of the larger cities recently. The hotel staff is also very friendly and always helpful and pleasant. The only issue I had with the hotel was the size of the room which was rather small. The room was barely large enough for the bed and the armoir. Other than that, this hotel more than earned it's four-star rating.
