There was a used band-aid in our bed. When taking a shower the shower head broke off. There was old water damage on the ceiling and walls. There was no quick check out option which caused us stress in the morning as we departed for our flight. We will never stay here again. There are plenty of good brand name hotels in the vicinity.

The hotel is extremely convenient, and I believe they take advantage of that by charging alot, and delivering minimal service. We have visited MIA frequently of late, and that section including the hotel is run down, the fitness area has been under renovation for years, the sky lounge has also been closed indefinitely. The rooms are extremely dated, including the phone which still says "centel" business systems (centel used to have the contract to maintain the phones at MIA until they were bought by sprint, which that contract was turned over to will tel). One would think the "gateway" to the america's would put on a better front, at least the rooms were clean and convient

This was the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in for a long, long time. I knew I was in trouble when I went to the front desk and the wall behind it that says "Miami International Airport Hotel" was filthy. My basic complaints are the following:- Our room was filthy. The carpeting was worn and dirty; there was grime all over the baseboard; the bath tub was standed with mold; and the toilet was filthy; you could hardly see out of the window becuase of smudgy hand prints.- The walls are paper thin. We could here TV's, babies crying, dishes clanging, etc. all night long.I will never stay in this filth palace again and I recommend anyone who values their hygeine and health to do the same.

Way over priced for the value received. The rooms are just slightly larger than a phone booth and are decorated in a 1960's motif.

The hotel is located right in the airport terminal, which was great for our early-morning flight. The hotel restaurant was very good, and also all airport food and shopping were just an elevator ride away. The pool and health club were closed for renovation during our visit, and some other major repairs were underway in the hallways. Our room was clean, quiet and nicely appointed though. I would stay there again.

I might have caught the hotel at a bad time as it appeared that refurbishing was being done. The room was cramped and had the "aura" of being dirty. Oddly enough, the bathroom was suprisingly clean. The room easily transmitted noise which didn't add to its flagging charm. The only upside was that it was in the airport terminal which made catching my 7am flight painless. Otherwise, you could get a much nicer, more comfortable room for less money and not too far removed from the airport.

Decided to stay at the airport hotel b/c I was on business and working at the airport. The room was very cramped, the faucet linked, the water pressure was extremely low, the air conditioner wouldn't turn off, and for a "sound-proof room," I sure heard a lot of noise.

We selected this hotel with the thoughts that it would be acceptable. It is convenient however, that does not make up for the condition of the hotel. Our thoughts that it being in a major airport that it would be maintained and updated to current times. We would not select this airport hotel not would we recommend it to anyone.

The only thing I liked about the hotel is that is located inside the airport and for an overnight connection is very convenient. Rooms were smelly, dirty, and the decoration so loud it requires turning off the lights not to see it.Service lackluster and understaffed.Bottom line: it beats sleeping on the floor of the airport terminal, barely.

With an early flight out the next morning, we chose to stay right in the airport. Located on Concourse D, it was a short walk from baggage claim. No taxis involved and an easy stroll to the departure gate the next morning. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the airport to patronize with all the extra time you have. Checking into off site hotels, with time and transportation, you came out ahead this way.
