| All in all, I had a very nice stay. i had a room with an ocean view for a great price....easy walks to beaches and shops. Price-wise and location-wise, it is tough to beat. Renovations are in progress so some things were a bit dishelved. The staff was very friendly and clean rooms. i would return.

| Parking was impossible, hotel was dirty, staff was rude and there was no way to see the Ocean from the "Oceanside Inn". Should be rated a minus two stars....

| Toilet didnt flush well, room stunk, bad decor, couldn't see ocean from hotel, front elevator didnt work. Staff were great and food and pool was good.

| The room and service was OK. I read some bad reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. I think the hotel is scheduled for a makeover this year which is definitely needed. One night the fire alarm started going off about midnight. Everyone was running out of rooms and standing on street. It went off for about 20 minutes. No manager ever came said anything to people. No fire engine came. Eventually it stopped blaring and in a few minutes people started filtering back into the hotel. There was no explanation, apology or anything. Definitely some management issues.

| The hotel wasn't a luxury hotel or anything extremely amazing, but it was comfortable and very good for my purposes. Fridge was big and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a little small but clean. All the staff I encountered were very pleasant and friendly. Continental breakfast was exceptional...better than most all other hotels' breakfasts. Beach was just out the back door and pool was very nice with a sundeck. Overall, very good stay.

| If you are looking for a good time in Fort Lauderdale, there's no reason to stay here. It is more expensive than hotels closer to the action without any reason. The "oceanview" is nothing to speak of, and it was an overall disappointing place to stay. Luckily, that didn't effect the nightlife!

| I paid for 2 nights, left for a different hotel for second night. The noisiest hotel I ever stayed at, exterior wall is all glass..If you don't mind hearing Harleys roaring down the street all night or Police sirens this may not bother you(I'm used to noise, I live 2 miles from Ohare airport)...no working ice machines, toilet top is actually part of the washroom counter, Shower head was missing. Now I didn't expect much for what I was paying, but it was so bad that I couldn't be angry, because it was just too funny. Luckily I planned to stay my other 4 nights at a nicer hotel.
