| View has to be the best at the falls. We had to rearrange the furniture so we both could sit and look at the falls...that blocked the fireplace. So much for the romantic setting we envisioned with the fireplace, the view of the falls and a good bottle of wine. The majority of the staff we encountered were curt and rude. Room service trays and empty wine bottles left in the halls for days. yuck

| My 11 year old daughter and I had a wonderful time at Sheraton On The Falls. We enjoyed the location, rooftop outdoor pool, small yet comfortable indoor pool, proxity to great restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe, Planet Hollywood and Rainforest Cafe. An added bonus was discounted tickets to the new indoor water park. We also had a delicious breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant overlooking the Falls. Don't expect any comps here. It cost $ to use hotel gym and no freebees for food. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

| If you want to be at the most centrally located hotel on the Canadian side, I heartily recommend the Sheraton. We managed in one day to ride both the Maid of the Mist and get over to the American side of the falls to experience some of those sights. You can easily hit the main sights in one or two days if you stay here. The pools are a bit of a disappointment, but you didn't really plan on swimming too much, did you? Food prices no matter where you stay are exceptionally high. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was exactly what my husband did like--the hubbub of action that surrounded us once we left the hotel to walk around. It's a carnival!

| We were very satisfied with our stay here from the minute we walked in & were told we'd been upgraded from City view to Falls view. Wow what a view! And what a pleasant surprise! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. Our room was huge, clean and homey. Bathroom was small but sufficient for the 2 of us. Would be cramped for more. We asked for a fan and one was delivered immediately by a pleasant staff member. Can't stress enough how nice staff members were! We've experienced too many rude or indifferent hotel staff members not to be impressed by this bunch! Book you're stay here with confidence. Hotel is right at the base of Clifton Hill with a great view of the falls, convenient to everything, especially if you have kids. Nice valet service available but we used self-park, which was free with casino 'Players Card'. Parking deck was only a 3-5 minute walk, mostly indoors, from the hotel. Didn't check out the new waterpark at the top of this deck but heard some very excited chidren talk about how 'cool' it is. Old casino is right next door and less than a mile to new casino. Over-all a very pleasant experience!

| We loved our stay! This hotel is within walking distance to most major sights in Niagara Falls. The upper floors have a great view of the falls and fireworks. The waterpark, arcade, and Rainforest Cafe were hits with our grandkids and you don't even have to go outside to get to those. We would definitely stay there again!

| If you don't mind spending a good bit of money, there is no better place to stay - especially if you get a Fall's view. It is right on the main drag, so you don't have to drive very much either. This hotel gets an A+ in convenience, as there is a Starbucks in the lobby, fast food and an indoor water park connected to the hotel, and an entrance into the downtown area. If you don't mind walking or driving a little further to get to the falls or the attractions, there are also very good hotels that are a bit cheaper. But if you want to park in one place and leave the vehicle parked for the week, this is probably the place to stay.

| We booked the top of the line room and is was worth it. There was a very small (maybe 18 inches wide) balcony you could walk out to and the view of both falls was dramatic. You can hear the falls from your room if you have the balcony door open. The hotel buffet was overpriced, but the food was pretty good. The valet parking was a bargain, given the parking prices and availablity in the area. But expect some noise from the street below during the night if you leave your balcony door open.

| Since it was so much more expensive to get a room with a view of the falls, I opted to get a room without a view. To my surprise, when I got to my room, I had a lovely view of some kind of air shaft, with no outside exposure at all! Besides that, the hotel was beautiful, tho the inside pool was very small and awfully hot. The concierge was very helpful, and the location was great - right in the middle of everything.

| I booked this hotel on one day notice and there were rooms available. However, the room I got said it was to be a cityview room and the only view we had was of an alley way within the hotel. But we were there for only one night and came to see the sights not the hotel. If location is a big deal for you this is the place to stay. Literally a 2 min walk to the falls, the casino and the main shopping/entertainment street. And it is close to many different restaurants and is still quiet.

All we had to do was open the window, and we could even hear the roar from the American falls. We also highly recommend an evening dinner at the restaurant on the penthouse level. We were seated right at a window with a spectacular view of both the American and Canadian falls. We highly recommend this hotel.

| We arrived June 26 and met an extremely pleasant staff. The lady told us she would have to upgrade us to a corner room on the 8th floor but we would have to wait an hour because it was not clean yet. We left our bags there and walked around at the many shops available. When we got back and went to the room, my mouth fell wide open. We had a suite with balcony and a view of the falls on two sides. It was so gorgeous I did not want to leave! The staff was great. At night they bring bottled water and chocolates for your pillow. It costs $15 a day for valet parking but it is well worth it. You call for your car and it is ready in minutes. The buffet was nice and the view wonderful from the restaurant on the top floor. Shops are in the lobby area and very nice. We did drive about two miles up the road on the QEW expressway to a Walmart and got soda and snacks for our fridge in the room. We kidded with the maid and told her we were staying put and would just have our food sent over. Highly recommend this hotel. The bed was even extremely comfortable. Can't wait to go back again!

| Make sure you get a room with some kind of view. We got the cheapest one which was a view of the wall. We had no sunlight. The location was perfect, right next to Clifton Hill where all actions are. Make sure you go to the attached WaterPark but pay for the tix in advance at the hotel otherwise you'd have to pay more than double at the door. Buy the tix in advance since you can access it for almost 2 days. The WaterPark is something I'm looking forward to more than the Falls when I return. The bed, especially pillows, were very comfortable.

| The accommendations are the hotel was excellent. We had a double queen room which include a love seat and fireplace. Our room had a fallsview but since we were only on the 3rd floor, we could only see the American Falls. When you check in I would recommend inquiring if your view includes both the American and Candiana falls. The only problem was some constructing being done with the entrance to elevators. I would highly recommend this hotel.

| The Sheraton on the Falls has a terrific view of both the American and Canadian falls (upper floors for full views of Canadian falls), if you select the falls view rooms. The hotel is centrally located, and you can easily walk to attractions such as the Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, the Skylon Tower, and the casinos. You can also walk to the nearby People Mover bus stop if you want to go to other attractions such as the White Water Walk and the Butterfly Conservatory. The hotel room was quite spacious, with an in-room electric fireplace for guests who travel during colder weather. However, for a hotel in this price range, rather than having a fireplace, there should have been a refrigerator in the room and an in-room safe for valuables. Also, it would have been nice to have the toiletries replenished (i.e., shampoo, lotion) when needed. There was mildew growing in the shower above the showerhead that was easily cleanable if housekeeping had taken the time or paid attention to detail. Otherwise, the room appeared to be clean. The breakfast and lunch buffets in the penthouse restaurant offer good food at reasonable prices and a spectacular view of both the American and Canadian falls. Be sure to get a window seat! There is also an indoor pool open late, which is nice for swimming in the cooler Canadian weather. The pool appeared clean and well-kept, and an ample supply of towels were at poolside for guests' use.

| I think this hotel has the best view of the falls on the Canadian side. Located opposite the American Falls, you see them and get a great prospect on the Horseshoe Falls. We ate at the rooftops of some of the other high rise hotels, and they couldn't match the view from the Sheraton on the Falls. And it's right across from the Maid of the Mist entrance and a short walk (without having to take the incline railway) to Table Rock. The room was clean and the service really great -- everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The only drawback was its location on overstimulating Falls Avenue -- which is no drawback at all if you're visiting Niagara Falls with the kids, they'll love it -- but for a couple looking for a romantic getaway, it's a bit hectic at street level. The food in the restaurant wasn't great, but then none of the food in Niagara Falls, in our view, was all that good. If you want to eat well, go up to Niagara on the Lake. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel.

| This is one of the best hotels! The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. We arrived early for check in and they were able to accomodate us with 2 rooms on another floor right next to each other (we went with family). We had a awesome view of the garden accross the street and the American Falls. The room was very comfortable, the bed alone was worth the money! There was a working fireplace, that was a welcome suprise. The bathroom was good size and the powerful shower felt good after a long day of walking. We only came accross two small problems-One, the elevator occasionally took us to the wrong floor. Second, we were accidently charged twice for valet parking because we had two rooms and one car. They corrected the mistake and are issuing a credit. Other than that we had a good experience and would definitely go back.

| The Fallsview room was spectacular. We slept with the patio door open so we could hear the falls. The bedding was heavenly, we slept better than at home. The housekeeping staff met our every request quickly and pleasantly. The valet parking was a bit steep but the free in and out made it a little more bearable. The hotel is right in the middle of the Clifton Hill midway and all it has to offer. Most everything was within walking distance. The gardens in front of the hotel were a very welcomed surprise with hidden treats around every turn. The tulips were in full bloom during our stay and they were magnificent. The only down side during our stay was some construction ongoing in the hotel with roped off areas on most of the floors. We never heard any construction noises but we did have to step around some tarps and barriers. Overall, a very pleasant trip.
