| The staff was great. Conditions were okay. The hotel is on the border of the French Quarter, however. At night, the surrounding area seemed somewhat risky, although we didn't have any problems. For the price, this was an okay choice.

| The service at the hotel was virtually non existant. There was always a shortage of pillows, towles and room service. It was a resounding theme throughout the weekend. Although, the staff was somewhat friendly with each decline of a requested service. We will not be returning to that hotel and I would not reccommend it to other travelers.

| I would say that for the price, I was not impressed with the quality. The location was within good walking distance to Bourbon and other French quarter streets, and the courtyard was very pretty, however, I would not stay there again.

| The rooms are ok, garden is nice with small swimming pool. The service of the hotel, however, was beneath all expectations. They were short in information, sometimes even rude to guests. Even more so, never make any phone call at this hotel, not only will they charge ridiculous prices for the phone calls you've made, they will also charge you for calls that did not connect! All in all, a last time for me to go there.

| The hotel location is on the edge of the quarter, so if you mind walking a few blocks, then this could be a problem. However, they offer a shuttle service around the quarter and taxis are pretty fair. As for the hotel itself, the staff was very kind and helpful, the room clean and the courtyard has a pool and fountain. Really quite a lovely place. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

| This was the second hotel I've stayed in New Orleans and much cleaner than the last. Closer to Bourbon Street. Overall very good.

| Breakfast buffet was cold; not enough help. Roon location not very scenic...overlooking another building's wall. Hotel's location not in a desirable neighborhood; shuttle service would have helped avoid late nite encounters with loiters.

| The location was perfect. Easily within walking distance of the entire French Quarter and Canal Street too. We had a great time during our stay. The staff was courteous and offered advice when asked. Our advice is to avoid the hotel's shuttle. Demand exceeded the seating capacity and there was no system to provide a fair seating order for the waiting patrons. It was easy to tell that some folks were frustrated with the seating problems. And after all that, the entire French Quarter and Canal Street are within a 5 to 10 minute walk.

| Very nice quiet hotel but they have discontinued their free shuttle service within 3 miles of the hotel. And it is a non-smoking hotel.

| It was located really close to Bourbon St, w/o being righ on top of it, so it was nice and quiet. The walls are a littel thin and you can hear your neighbors. The pool is pretty, as is the fountain. The way the hotel is designed you are all centrally located around the courtyard. The restaurant and room service never seems to be open, which is frustrating. On our last day, our flight was not leaving till later and they let us extend our stay with no charge, which was really nice. There is also an awesome Day Spa located directly next to the hotel.

| This hotel was adequately clean and was conveniently located. Definitely a middle-of-the-road property, but a good value. Wouldn't plan my honeymood there, but good for the family vacation.

| I didn't know I had to call ahead to confirm my hotel request from Expedia. So, when my wife and I got there, we were given the wrong room. The staff were very helpful in getting us the type of room we wanted; they even gave us a room with a view of the courtyard (which was beautiful). The staff were very curteous and helpful with finding great places to eat and things to do while in New Orleans. We were only a few blocks off Burboun Street, so everything was easily gotten to on foot. The room was very clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

| I was leery because of other expedia reviews but the service was great, breakfast buffet nice with a lot of variety, courtyard beautiful, room very clean and everything I needed, staff eager to please. Only qualm - one mattress was well past it's prime so I just used the other one. Take taxis everywhere to be safe. I never felt unsafe but didn't want to chance it. Cheap eats- Acme Oyster House. Expensive eats- La Louisiane. Street musicians- give $ to keep the music in the air! Beignets- Cafe du Monde in the evening. Art- excellent, have it shipped home. Jazz festival in May- great food and music! Convention center- 1/2 mile long (wear good shoes), DON'T eat at the convention center! Go out for lunch! Garden district- beautiful, take a day tour! Pat O'Brien's- piano bar (worth the wait) and drink a hurricane. Bourbon St.-relax, stay in crowded areas, no kids.
