| The Hotel is very nice, but the room was amazingly small. Hardly big enough for two people. Barely enough room to get around the bed, no dresser and one very small closet.

| The W is certainly a hip place, great atmosphere, and clean and comfortable. I've stayed at this W several times and have been quite happy. One issue the last time was that the Internet hook up was next to the bed, and nowhere near the desk. So I was doing my work sitting back in bed, which isn't a terrible thing, but would have been more productive sitting at the desk. Otherwise, great place.

| Great service but lines at the front desk typical to ck in and outs during the weekend at a busy hotel. Try to get rooms above the 6th floor to avoid view of a wall! Well appointed room but a bit tight. Next time I would book the next level. Bathroom ceilings needed a bit of maintenance (paint peeling). Also the housekeeping folks should be quieter in the hallways during the mornings!!!!!

| Even though I was able to get a decent rate on this hotel I do not believe it was worth the money. The parking alone cost $50 and I was barely there over 12 hours. My room was also noisy. I could hear everything from people in the hallways to people showering or flushing the toilets in their room. My view was of absouletly nothing, even though I paid for what was supposed to be a upgraded room. I guess if you are going to the city that never sleeps and you don't expect to sleep, leave your bags in your car and stay up all night.

| The W New York is a very cool, hip looking hotel. I loved the lobby. The "wonderful" labeled room is certainly small but has everything you need. No more than 2 people would fit in that room. No bathtub, but didn't need one (only a shower). Nice bliss bathroom products. Our room faced other inside rooms so you couldn't really leave your shade open. And the air conditioning didn't seem to get the room very cool (it didn't go as low as you set it). And we would have liked reading lights. There were two very cool looking lights hanging over the bed but no dimmer and way too bright. But otherwise, we got a great deal and enjoyed our stay at the W. I would probably stay there again.

| The condition of our room was not as good as we expected. The carpet had a large tear, the shower curtain was mildewy. The room was tiny but we expected that. The bed was really comfortable. The lobby was really nice. Much nicer than the room. That said we'd probably stay there again, though we're likely to try another option next time we're in NY.

| We have stayed in NYC many times, but this was the first hotel that we stayed at in midtown. It's location was ideal for sightseeing, shopping, and exploring the city. We have stayed in W Hotels before and found this to be no different - excellent service and accomodations. Others complained about the size of the room, but what do you expect in NYC? Beds are a dream and amenities a plus.

| This was the first time I stayed at a 'W' and I was very excited about it. The hotel room was small, and the initial view was so uninviting that I changed my room to one that did not have all the bathroom amenities. I mentioned it to the front desk, and when I returned from lunch, I found that the amenities were replaced, but my toilet seat was up and there were footprints on my toilet. I changed rooms again--still small--but at least clean. I would not stay at the 'W' again.

| The lobby feels like a trendy lounge. The interior design is beautiful. The "Pouring Rain Showerhead" and bathroom products by "Bliss" are signs that you're staying at a top-notch hotel. The room we stayed in was indeed SMALL, but isn't a comfortable & clean bed to sleep in the only thing you need when you're visiting New York City, anyway? They even had the latest issue of my favorite magazine, Wired, in their rooms. Great experience, can't wait to go back!

| It was hip & contemporary, with excellent service. The room was beautiful, but a lot smaller than it looked in the pictures provided by Expedia & by the hotel's website. But it was just the 2 of us, so we managed. It was incredibly close to the subway station on Lexington/49th Street, which was great for exploring the city & then returning to the hotel easily. The bar in the lobby was awesome--couches & comfy chairs with coffee & end tables, books & games--a swanky living room. Excellent stay!
