| This hotel was definately a great deal. It was right in the middle of downtown, the C-Train was across the street, and it is surrounded by the hot nightclubs. The restaraunt inside was great, and the M-Bar was cool too. It had a nice pool and hot tub, and even a little work out area. It was also convenient that they had parking, oh yeah, and highspeed elevators....I'd definately recommend this place to anyone going to Calgary.

| THe hotel was both well kept and neat for such a good price and the location made for easy access to nearly everything in Downtown Calgary. The only two complaints that I have have regarding the hotel are there is a very limited number of parking spaces for oversized vehicles (3) because the garage restricts access to vehicles less than 6' tall. Most SUVs are going to make that a close call. with only three available spots for large vehicles they go quickly, however the hotel does reimburse for parking in the nearby public lot. ONly draw back there is that it is outside making for cold winter mornings and does not allow for ina nd out priviledges, making for many receipts. Last, I didn't think that there were many of these left, but the Sandman charges for local calls.Go figure...it's 2005 (nearly).

| The Sandman in downtown Calgary is located within a five minute walk or a $5.00 cab ride to all businesses and/or restaurants in the city center.All rooms are recently remodeled suites, well maintained. The Hotel business center has easy access, and is quite comfortable for desktop usage.
