This hotel is way out of Miami downtown and middle of nowhere. There is a gas station close by and a shooting range. You hear gunshots. It is good for gaming but bad for vacationing.

This hotel was a very nice one, one of the best I have stayed in in Miami but were a couple of things that REALLy needs improvement. First and foremost, the customer service, the hotels service was great, but the people that worked in the casinos customer service was horrible, they didnt want to answer questions and the ones that didnt mind answering your questions didnt speak well enough english. Which brings me to #2, knowing that this hotel is off the "south beach strip" and in the middle of like nowhere if u need directions you are either going to need a Spanish translator or map quest before you arrive. Other than that I would stay at this hotel again, but I would probably skip the casino.

Miccosukee is a nice Hotel, I'd say excellent for the price you pay. I would recommend it to everybody, but keep in mind, it's a little far away from downtown Miami. It will take you at least 1/2 hour to get there from Hotel. If this doesn't bother you, go for it.

It was a decent hotel. There is not much close to it, it's sitting in the Everglades. But it was nice - it has a good sauna, a pool with a hot tub, an exercise room with treadmills and some other equipment (no free weights). It also has a pretty good buffet for a low price - $8 all-you-can-eat breakfast, and $11 AYCE lunch and dinner. The food was great, they cook you ommelettes for breakfast, with whatever you want in them. Overall, not bad. Alhough, if you want to get to a beach, you have to drive through the whole Miami, in a tonn of traffic. It probably takes about an hour with low traffic to get to South Beach.

We had a nice time at the hotel. We were there for a sad occasion. But the place and employees were great. Anything we asked for was taken care of in a reasonable amount of time.

The room and pool were big and nice. Free coffee 24/7 in the lobby! Service was horrible at the front desk and in the restaurants. Seemed like they didn't care if we were there. Stay at the hotel, but eat and play in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and the Everglades. All are within easy driving distance.

The hotel is near to the everglades. The rooms are clean and look as though they have been refurbished in the past few years. There is a pool and gym which are ok. The restaurants are in the gaming part of the hotel which can be a bit smoky- and don't expect anything that resembles Vegas! The service and choices were ok- standard stuff. It's worth popping to the a la carte restaurant as it's reasonably priced and far nicer than the other places to eat.

The room was clean and spacious, furniture a bit worn but still contemporary and stylish. I had a non non-smoking room thank goodness, but limit your time in the lobby and casino if don't like cigarette smoke. The buffet was very good and inexpensive too.

This is a casino and that is their primary concern and emphasis. As a hotel guest, you are not afforded the service and hospitality you would expect from a standard hotel chain. I would not stay at this hotel again.

I loved learning about the Miccosukee Native American Indians. I appreciate them taking time to share their culture, their art, and their knowledge about the Florida Everglades. I felt very comfortable, and I loved the heated swimming pool. This hotel was an interesting mix between native tradition and the modern world of casinos. It is located in a quiet area, which is great for nature lovers, yet it's not far from Miami's hustle and bustle. It was a nice getaway.

The resort itself is VERY nice. The rooms were nice and clean as well. The staff (with the exception of the drivers) was very rude. We were never greeted at the front desk (the front desk even put me on hold for 20 minutes once then hung up on me!!) or in the restaurants and never felt welcomed. The slots were pretty fun but they don't have blackjack anywhere. The hot tub had a poo colored grime all over it. It was disgusting. If you go to the indian village the airboat ride is a waste of time but the alligator wrestling was awesome. It was a good chance to be up close to the animals and see someone mess with it like Steve Irwin. Not much wildlife around the casino except for stray dogs & cats. Overall we were pleased with the room and the gambling but disappointed with all of the rude people and the dirty hot tub. I probably won't go back but it was a cheap place for a fun quick trip!

Where else can one gamble, dance, dine and have a good time in Miami other than the Miccosukee Resort & Gaming? Is a shame this hotel was not built to the standards of the Hard Rock Seminoles. Not impressed at all by the quality of the rooms; try to reach front desk or room service..good luck! One hour to get coffee!! Unbeatable!!Breakfast buffet is great, lunch & dinner pretty average.Waiting to play on some of the video machines, impossible!!But hey!, they are worth the wait, truly the best video machines you will find, lots of prizes, lots going on.
