When we first arrived at the hotel, we weren't expecting much, and to our surprise it was a lot better than expected. The room was very clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy.

Upon check-in our first room was still occupied by another guest. The front desk personnel immediately provided us with a vacant room for our stay. We had a suite overlooking the bay. The view was breathtaking. Each night there was entertainment in the lobby/bar area. Guests could stand on the balcony in front of their rooms and peer down to view the activities. The onsite restaurant was convienent and well priced. The location of the hotel was great. We were within walking distance of several restaurants and bay activities. Each staff member we met during our 4 day stay was pleasant, helpful, and polite.

CS was very good. Checking in and out was a breeze. Was not asked for a CC for incidentals, which surprised me. As for the room... where can I begin? They were still a a suave shampoo, garnier conditioner, body fantasies body wash, dial soap, packets of aveeno soak, stuff in the drawers and even a floating bed for the beach or pool in the closet. Ketchup and mayo packets. I even wonder if they changed the linens at all, they smelled horrible. I was afraid to even use the toilet... and take a shower in the bathroom. It just didn't feel right. The place is obviously rundown but it is also filthy. Taking a shower there was a nightmare... And then, when we left somebody barfed all over the aisle you have to walk down to get to the parking area... it smelled horrible. This place is neglected, filthy and the worst place I've stayed in years. I will never go back in there. NEVER

We had 10 bowlers staying there in May. We were with in walking distance of local pubs and resturants. Plus you have a great pub inside the hotel. Water is 2 blocks away, not the beach! We all would stay here again. If you are looking for fancy then go somewhere eles. This hotel is just average. Nothing special! Have a safe trip!

In the first room that I received the ceiling over the shower had a hole in it and it was chipping. The enamel from the bath tub was also cipping. When I explained my dislike the front desk staff was both courteous and prompt to help me find another room. The second room however had mold in the ceiling over the shower and again front desk was very courteous and help me find another room to satisfy me. I was very pleased with the third choice. Overall the staff was professional and very customer service oriented but the hotel itself could use some repair.

This hotel gets an A+ for location. Sorry, but that's it. The room itself was what I would call in a 1970 time warp. The odor seems to been left over from there also. The bed was as hard as a rock and the AC controls had a mind of there own. There were cracked plaster and awful stains in the bathroom walls and ceilings. The bathroom also had open hotel shampoo bottles left from past guest. If something this simple to clean was left behind you can only imagine what else was probably lacking. If you want to be close to downtown there are many other choices that are better.

This is a fairly decent place in downtown Corpus, with a nice lobby, shops and restaurants. There's also a pub playing live music, where one could hang out. Its a couple blocks from some sort of a bayfront and pier. However when they say "bayfront room", don't be fooled. You certainly aren't going to step out into a white sandy beach from your porch. The bay is only visible in the distance through a small crack between a huge parking lot and another massive building. The room itself is pretty unremarkable, particularly, the air conditioning was kind of rickety and it took a while to figure out that one had to push the knobs a certain way to get it to work. The other thing that ticked me off wa lack of a wireless network or even internet for that matter. Furnishing was in good shape but seemed a little old. All in all this is an ok, economic place to stay, far far away from a honeymoon hotel one would choose for a newly wedded wife, for instance.

The hotel is in a pretty good location if you don't want to pay for a hotel directly on the bay, but one block away. HOWEVER, the bed is hard as a rock, the enamel in the bathtub was badly peeling and they tried to cover it up with paint that was flaking away, one of the elevators was broken, the gift shop was deserted (I don't know if it will open up in the future...but even the shelves were gone), the room service closed down a half hour early...etc. etc. etc. The parking LOT is OK, but the parking garage is dismal looking,...dark and dank. But...it is a room if the other hotels are full.

One of the elevators did not work for three days. Upon arrival I was directed to an 'Employees Only' door and wandered around and through the laundry facilities to find a 'service' elevator to take me to my floor. No microwave or refrigerator in the room. They have a pool - but bath towels were very small. Shuttle was not available for transport to the convention center.

Great location but needs new management. The place is in need of maintenance and improved customer relations. The elevator was very slow. Made three attempts using stairs to front desk to get a working key to room. Did not have tv remote. Got one at front desk and it did not work. Second one finally worked. A pair of dirty pants was in drawer. Arrangements were made with front desk to ride courtesy van on departure morning. Arrived in lobby to find out that our party along with others were having to wait on cab because van driver did not have a drivers license. A little planning would have prevented parties from having to wait on cabs.

I found the hotel service very good in terms of transportation to and from the airport. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location was great in terms of getting to the various venues in Corpus Christi. I was there for a wedding and the clerk was very helpful in giving directions to the church where the wedding was to be held. I would stay there again just based on location, cleanness and cost.

Well where to start... the room was decent at best. There was a prom going on downstairs, luckly my room was on the other side of the hotel so I barley heard the music. The pool is ok. The free breakfast was ok. The fitness equipment is a joke. The location is the best part of the hotel, about a block from the marina. As long as you don't spend too much time in the hotel it's not a bad place to sleep (and with check in at 3pm and check out at noon that is pretty much all you can do)

This hotel may have been a very nice place to stay about fifteen years ago. There were leaks in the ceiling above our shower. There were liquid stains on the walls. Our room was very dirty, and I woke up one morning to find a roach above my head on the wall (visitor). I was sooooo greatful that I did not bring my children. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location - close to the bayfront and restaurants. This decor is shabby and worn out. For the complimentary breakfast buffet, the eggs tasted like they were made from some kind of powdered mix - disgusting. The hotel advertises a "fitness room", but this actually consisted of four machines sitting in a hallway -- three of them were broken.
